@SpikeySmooth

£800-1.4m in my postcode. London suburb.

A house with a similar floor space where I grew up in South Northants goes for about £250-350k.

£800k not £800 Grin
Matbest · 22/01/2022 18:07

Varies but on my road about £500k

KatherineJaneway · 22/01/2022 18:08

£850k

hesbeen2021 · 22/01/2022 18:09

400- 450k nice part of East Kent

dalrympy · 22/01/2022 18:09

Not many around here. But would be £800k

alexdgr8 · 22/01/2022 18:11

unmodernised, but all have tiny 3rd bedroom, about 750K.
the more desirable, ready to go, over 1M.

OperationRinka · 22/01/2022 18:13

There's only one road of semis near me (zone 2 London), a quick check on Rightmove tells me they go for about a million quid.

juliainthedeepwater · 22/01/2022 18:13

an average of £800,000 I'd say..

Whitefire · 22/01/2022 18:13

From about 150k to 220k within 0.25 miles of my road.

Within the area £35k will buy you your very own semi detached house.

ffscovid · 22/01/2022 18:16

About £250k-£300k for a standard 60s / 70s Wimpy homes one in town.

meltingkite · 22/01/2022 18:18

£1-£1.75M, central London. Very few on sale though, it's only flats within half a mile and the nearest 3 bed semis are a mile away.

garlictwist · 22/01/2022 18:18

Ours was £180 five years ago. Would be maybe £200k today. But in the next suburb across which is much nicer they go for about 300k.

Vasectomyreversalhopeful · 22/01/2022 18:21

There aren't any with three big bedrooms within 10 miles, all have a smaller 3rd bedroom. Around £215000 for that.

Awkwardusername · 22/01/2022 18:21

We paid £320k for ours a few months ago, two huge bedrooms but one definite box room, North East

ImInStealthMode · 22/01/2022 18:22

Upwards of £700k here Confused

Forrandomposts · 22/01/2022 18:23

@Marimaur

600k-800k NE London
God tell me where! I'm NE London and it's £1.2m round here
MissBridgetJones · 22/01/2022 18:23

1930's small-ish semi round the corner (their garden abouts ours) £625k. It's so unobtainable. We are in rented looking to buy/

areyoubeingserved1985 · 22/01/2022 18:25

My 3 bed semi was £80k

TheOriginalNutty · 22/01/2022 18:25

£265,000 here in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands.

I'm very lucky to live in a housing association property. I could never afford to privately rent or buy here.

TheOriginalNutty · 22/01/2022 18:26

Should say that's ex council house.

Non ex council starts around £300,000

Oopsiedaisy123 · 22/01/2022 18:27

£180k in SW, purchased last year - also note prices went stupidly high and it went well over asking, needed a tiny bit of work.

ElephantCup · 22/01/2022 18:31

£250k-£350k

Tulips21 · 22/01/2022 18:38

£150-200k
(West Wales)

PanettoneMoly · 22/01/2022 18:41

£695k-£1.55m. Less posh bit of SW London

APurpleSquirrel · 22/01/2022 18:45

3-bed semi's in my Somerset town range from £200k up to £400k. For 3 double rooms you'd be looking at £330k upwards but may be compromising on other things like garden size.
