I immediately thought a man has been involved in this decor.

That "luxury bespoke" house looks like most Australian McMansions that I've been in!

That's quite possibly the worst taste in interior design I've seen in a while. No personality, no creativity, no feeling of comfort or a loved family home.

The lighting is dreadful. The stairs are like "in the event of an emergency, lighting at floor level will guide you to the nearest exit, which may be behind you". The doors with masking tape strips on them are awful. The stripey black and white bathrooms are awful.

It would probably appeal to a 20 something lower league footballer and his aspiring WAG.

That is just hideous and quite surreal.

Just reinforces the notion that money doesn't in any way buy good taste!

It's just missing a naked bloodspattered Christian Bale running amok with a chainsaw to give it that final edge.

All the house photos on these sites look digitally modified and unreal, as if in a computer game. Most unsettling. And this one, with its grey sterile look and splashes of red, is about the worst.

If that house has never been lived in, as suggested on this thread, then that would explain the featureless back garden.

A house that was in my family was sold to developers and "remodelled" into a luxury new house - interiors totally ripped out and changed beyond all recognition - but the back garden was just paved and laid to grass, no plants put in at all. www.rightmove.co.uk/house-prices/detailMatching.html?prop=54476976&sale=8804716&country=england

I like the room-specific artwork - This is the room I should drink wine in.

Not sure I'd want to look at the equivalent art in the bathrooms and bedrooms.

I thought John's tour of the house was quite good. He comes across as a professional who does his job well.

If only they'd got him to do a proper tour of the Lady Byron Lane house!

I love how Jon appears out of thin air at the start of the video. Amazing.

I like how the sky is grey and miserable to match the decor.

Most people try and schedule ea photographer for a sunny day, as far as possible

I think the estate agent has found the setting I used to have on my old camera - It shoots black and white, except picking up a few bright bits of colour. I bet they think they'r being realy arty!

This. We had a camera that can do it too although why anyone would want to is beyond me.
