I loathe the whole grey thing but this is taking a nasty, bland, cold trend and running with it. I often say that at least people could pair it with something other than blush pink, a hot tub and generic rattan patio furniture, but the red is NOT an improvement.

I've just ordered a new kitchen and the showroom staff said that people only want grey. 90% of people think they've had a great idea and want a "nice grey". They joked that their fitters are all in therapy because their entire worlds have turned grey and bleak.

Dagnabit · 15/10/2021 14:03

The grass was a welcome relief…

@PosiePerkinPootleFlump

Holy crap. Money doesn't buy you taste!
To paraphrase Dolly Parton "It takes a lot of money to look this cheap"

A footballer took on a flat like this above a friend of mine. He then got a transfer abroad so never moved in. It was just as soulless as this.

HaveringWavering · 15/10/2021 14:06

The video director is clearly going for a “Selling Sunset” vibe.

vixeyann · 15/10/2021 14:08

Such a great space but it looks totally unlived in and soulless

TankGirl97 · 15/10/2021 14:12

And the most soulless garden I've seen in a long time too. Could have cut a border in and planted some red roses at least 🤣

[quote Tashface]Oh my lord - take a look at the Facebook business page of one of the people named at the end of the video!

The confidence is, frankly, awe-inspiring and the 'inspirational quotes', oh, my!

Absolute proof that self-awareness has nothing whatsoever to do with being all too aware of oneself.

It's like this guy took the concept of being an estate agent - a breed almost universally despised by a huge section of the public to begin with - and went; 'What can I do to make being an estate agent seem even more like a job exclusively and only for really massive c*nts'? .... and then went and did it. And, tbf, it looks like he's achieved on that score, so we can safely assume he carried out some pretty rigorous research before hitting the market with his novel idea, which is a must for any aspiring business owner.

I'm now going to spend some time ruminating on the percentile difference between just how big a twat you'd have to be, having finalised your search for an estate agent, to look at Alex Moisii's Facebook page and go; 'Yep, he's the man for me" and Alex Moisii himself. My early calculations are pointing, extremely favourably, towards: 'infinitesimal'.

LouLou789 · 15/10/2021 14:14

Soulless

Cheeseontoastwithchopsauce · 15/10/2021 14:16

Looks like they cleared aisle 5 in B&M of all the red soft furnishings and aisle 12 of all the red lamps

Glassofshloer · 15/10/2021 14:18

@Ducksarenotmyfriends

Looks like the home of a serial killer.
Lol
Glassofshloer · 15/10/2021 14:18

Bet that’s the victims clothes in the massive wardrobe

DigitalGhost · 15/10/2021 14:19

It's like something out of American Horror Story. Expecting a man in a gimp suit behind one of those many cupboards.

Tombero · 15/10/2021 14:21

I’m sure I’ve seen that house on mumsnet before, it’s not an area I’d look at normally and I’ve definitely viewed it before. I remember Schindler’s list comments back then too.

BIoodyStupidJohnson · 15/10/2021 14:22

O/t but I noticed this phrase in the listing and it's been cropping up a lot lately

Please confirm if this is a freehold or leasehold property with [Estate Agent]

It's like, how hard is it? You're want me to yomp three million quid on a house and you can't pull out of your arse whether I'm going to own the land it stands on or not?

Whenever I read this sentence in listings I just think 'leasehold, and a shit lease at that' and close the tab. So it's not as slide-past-your-attention vague as the EAs perhaps think it is.

Newwifeatnumber10 · 15/10/2021 14:24

It's not my style or taste but some of these comments on here are way over the top! Jealous me thinks!

jay55 · 15/10/2021 14:26

With a bathroom that enormous they could have put in a couple more baths in. Bonkers.

hedgehogger1 · 15/10/2021 14:27

There's something particularly depressing about the red sofa looking at the telly...

HarrisonStickle · 15/10/2021 14:27

Grin Grin Grin

But is your new kitchen a nice grey?

Rightmove recently changed the way they received information from agents about whether a property is freehold or leasehold.

However, rather inconveniently, they didn't tell anyone!

So, there are a number of agents around who have not yet updated their software to give Rightmove this info in the new format, and as such the default phrase: "Please confirm if this is a freehold or leasehold property with [Estate Agent]" appears.

Man U? Footballer's pad, for sure

Deathraystare · 15/10/2021 14:33

Not keen on all that wood but the garden, Oh! the garden is lovely.

Mildura · 15/10/2021 14:34

It's brand new, it's never been lived in.

I think it looks like the armadillo cake in Steel Magnolias.

Could be such a nice house if it weren’t for terrible decor.
