I quite like it

I like the house itself but it’s a bit over decorated for my taste.

BIoodyStupidJohnson · 11/04/2021 16:49

I spied the community recycling centre just down the road and find myself wondering if it pongs when the wind blows a certain way. Or if you’d get traffic queuing back up past the house to get into the tip on a weekend or bank holiday.

Otherwise very nice.

DuesToTheDirt · 11/04/2021 16:50

I don't like the decor and the ceilings are low and rather claustrophobic.

Butwhhhyyyyyyy · 11/04/2021 16:50

I really like it, lovely garden

Mumblechum0 · 11/04/2021 16:51

Ah I hadn’t noticed the recycling centre. Yes there is a LOT of stuff!

So. Much. Grey.

Honestly, I don't recall when the grey scale trend started for home decor, or why it happened... but I hate it.

Standrewsschool · 11/04/2021 16:53

I like the house.

The recycling centre would be a bit off putting though. Good spot.

Oblomov21 · 11/04/2021 16:53

I like it. Once cleared, on moving day, it'd be nice.

FlatEarthling · 11/04/2021 16:54

So many identical hats!
The house could be nice but it's a bit staged looking. Like pages from the Next catalogue, needs colour and warmth

BIoodyStupidJohnson · 11/04/2021 16:54

@Standrewsschool

My superpower when looking at property is to find that one flaw that ruins an otherwise perfect home. Grin

I like it but it looks like a magazine shoot, not a sales listing which is annoying as it's not as clear as I would like. There is SO much stuff on the surfaces, it hurts my eyes a bit and the idea of cleaning it is horrific. Why have rabbits all over the kitchen worktops? They're just in the way.

It's hard to get a sense of the rear garden. I'm also not keen on 2 of the bedrooms being downstairs and the end result of that is that the living space is a little on the small side.

Windinmyhair · 11/04/2021 16:56

I like it, but seriously expensive for what is effectively a two bedroom house (I find downstairs main bedrooms a bit frustrating, though they work for spares)

It is also quite stylised for sale. Houses like that make me think they are overpriced.

DramaAlpaca · 11/04/2021 16:58

I love it, with the exception of that wall of straw hats. I really love the colour palette they've used.

I could live with that layout, which is always the first thing I look at. I'd miss having a utility room though, a house that size should have one.

Woodpecker22 · 11/04/2021 16:59

It is also next to the Cum Factory

(sorry it made me laugh)

Chewbecca · 11/04/2021 17:00

I think the bathroom next to the kitchen might incorporate a utility room.

SoupDragon · 11/04/2021 17:01

I almost sighed audibly when the exterior photos came up and there was finally some actual colour and life. The test look like they've had a colour filter out on to make them all the same.

GreyhoundLurcher · 11/04/2021 17:09

I love it. The sighthound and hare decorations are beautiful. Ground floor bedrooms are tricky, but could double a sewing room etc when no guests expected.

Mumblechum0 · 11/04/2021 17:09

@woodpecker., I have no idea what the cum factory is either 😁

SwedishK · 11/04/2021 17:32

I love it. However, it’s a shame the kitchen cabinets are glossy.

TheYearOfSmallThings · 11/04/2021 17:53

It's a cute house, but excruciatingly over-decorated. I don't know the area, but it seems a huge amount of money for a house that is not massive.

WilsonandNoodles · 11/04/2021 17:54

I am clearly not the target market because I just don't understand the hats. I mean do they come included? If they do what do I do with them? What new hobby should I take up that requires such headwear on mass? How much am I paying per hat? Could I perhaps hang a variety of the families wooly hats there instead?

Mumblechum0 · 11/04/2021 17:58

@WilsonandNoodles, I think they're actually paper cut outs, stuck on the walls but not 100% sure.

nice part of the world and with all the crap removed, could be a nice house.

the tip up the road (and upwind?) seems only to be open weekends and Mondays - but how much traffic will there be on those days?

PickAChew · 11/04/2021 18:02

That's what my semi-detached suburban chalet bungalow wants to be when it grows up 😍

PickAChew · 11/04/2021 18:04

Though, yes, it would involve a bit more colour and fewer ornaments.
