I love it. The decor's a bit grey, and the hats are an eccentric choice, but the basic house is lovely. Apart from the wood cladding on the garden room and garage, that sort of thing never ages well.

This house is what a lot of people aspire to and is very much 'the look' of the moment - an ode to greige and without any character or soul. It looks like they have spent a lot of money on it, it is all top quality and will appeal to a huge market. Possibly they had a designer in with little imagination.

Otherwise known as no taste of their own.

Too many nik-naks but the tip nearby would put me off we had a house near a tip (a mile or so away) and had loads of flies all the time it was horrible

I struggled to see 'the house' due to all the knick knacks.

You can tell its been decorated by an interior designer and then they've employed someone to dress it for the photo shoot. A vase of flowers on the hob. There's super practical !
It's a shame as you can't get any idea of it as a home.

I agree over decorated and the kitchen is not to my taste at all. The agent needs to remember they are selling the house not the current owner’s possessions and take photos accordingly!

The children’s room is beautiful, I love the quilts. A shame that on the whole it doesn’t look very homely.

OK but totally middle-of-the-road grey decor. Too many chochkes, but that's not a buyer's problem. I'd want to do something much less vanilla with the decor!

I don't know why there's this obsession with every room having a bathroom these days, though - I might rather have some more larger bedrooms. Not sure I'd like so many bedrooms on ground floor.

I like it but my bugbear is houses where some of the bedrooms are downstairs - at least these have en suites so it looks like they were actually designed as bedrooms ws opposed to a dining room that suddenly becomes a bedroom when the house is listed! For the price there's really not a lot of living space and my reaction was very similar to someone else's upthread - I don't get why so many of the photos are close ups of the vendor's possessions... It's not like they come with the house!?!

There isnt a single personal item in the house.
