I had Acupuncture and 'cupping' for a trapped nerve in my back before I went away and although I am a complete cynic it really helped and I will see the man again if it comes back it did cost me £110 though.

You take it easy today and rest up!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 21/09/2005 15:19

not much munz - why hun? they are the new ones arent they.... havent seen a fluffle yet!

munz · 21/09/2005 15:30

Rom and DQ HAPPY BIRTHDAY! have a big slice of virtual chocky cake on me and a virtual tipple of something nice!

Oh also Rom, well thought of the Rasp Leaf Tea, I'd forgotten about that stuff! JNBM, it doesn't taste that bad, I managed to drink it last time, although I was 5 days over......(but not if you count my 32 day cycle! if you get my drift!!)
Have you also tried lots of cleaning, all that bendind and twisting may do the trick??

Dizzidi Congratulations dh and I also got married in Vegas, fab isn't it!

munz · 22/09/2005 07:41

ah friz - tis true i'm afraid - it a sad state of affairs when the excitement in ur life is a parcel of nappies thru the door! lol - can't wait for our arrival now so I have a real life guinea pig! lol, DH recons it's wrong to run over the road and ask his friend wif we can borrow their NB DD for 5 minutes to play about with the nappies! lol. keep takin them out to look at them! lol.

diz - woohoo vegus - how lovely. glad u had a nice day.

nemo - how r u doing at the mo? u take things easy honney with ur back and everything.

jm&b - any movements? I don't know of any other things to get labour started other than what the girls mentioned. will find a link later and send it over to u for the fluffle - they're soo cute!

rom/DQ did u have nice b'days?

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 22/09/2005 08:44

hey munz.... nope - nothing - bloody stubborn baby!

Good news on the army front - DH decided to tell me casually last night that he's been taken OFF the course, so no more stress! I went mad at him for not telling me sooner - FFS he knew how worried i was and he had known from 10am! (This was 9pm last night by the way!)

Hope everyone else ok!

munz · 22/09/2005 08:49

lol - bloody men! he he, mine's been put on a week of guard (one day on one day off 24 hour shifts) then till 1st dec in the main office where they get the info in first - so he'll hopefully know ASAP if he's got promotion, (it's 3 days on 3 nights on (where he goes in picks up a pager and comes home again, 3 days off) then he's on xmas leave apparently. nice if u can get it! lol. roll on 6th october I say! lol. bit worried thou - he's gone right off sex- and I don't mean a little bit not even trying to instigate it and every time I do he says i'm tired or something.

how's jess today?

Nemo1977 · 22/09/2005 08:54

hi all
jabm typical bloke hey..my dh is like that in a oh yeah by the way...lol

munz lol at the nappies and newborn..must admit i am quite looking forward to recieving my motherease and now keep browsing the net looking at nappy sites..lol

Not a lot going on here at all today. Need to go for shopping..another no no..pmsl
Adam went to bed last night no probs and didnt wake up so think it was first night anxiety in his new room...bit of a relief as I felt sooo guilty the first night.

Take care all

Jess driving me insane today- jsut cant cope with her at all.... thank god Dave is on early shift today- he will be home at 1.30pm!

Sex - i know what you mean.... men do tend to go off it a bit during pregnancy im afraid! No action here last night - we were both too knackered, and he had to leave for work at 4.30am so it was straight to sleep!

All i want to do is veg on the sofa, but Jess just wont let me - she is such a little madam at times!

Nemo1977 · 22/09/2005 08:57

munz when i was pg with adam dh hateds the idea of sex for fear of hurting baby....however i convinced him when i was 40 plus weeks that i realllly needed it..and we did until the night before induction. When we went into hospital for induction and were told that the baby was right down in pelvis his face was white and all he kept saying afterwards was how his first intro to his son had been poking him in the head while having a bit[blush.
It has definetly put him off this time so you are not alone on the scarcely getting any bit..lol

munz · 22/09/2005 09:11

glad it's not just mine then - i've been eeling like a right leper or something- he did say he was worried about knocking on the door as it were - but I worry if he's not getting any from me if he is from somewhere else - I know that just stupid PG hormones talking but I do worry. maybe on friday i'll have to seduce him! he he he - althou 24 hour shift today - he'll prob be too tired (wouldn't mind but we've only bd 4 times in 16 weeks!

munz · 22/09/2005 09:12

ooooooh JM - do the in the playpen and sit/veg all day?

nemo - glad adam's settled - is his old room going to be used for the baby?

Nemo1977 · 22/09/2005 09:14

yep old room is for the baby its already set up like that because of adam and its the smaller bedroom so actually easier with a baby.
Think we have bd about 4 times in 27wks munz so your doing better than me..lol

OP posts:
munz · 22/09/2005 09:15

oh that makes things easier then, glad he's settled into his new room.

I guess lack of sex is what happens once u get PG and kids come along? - didn't realise i'd miss it so much!

Nemo1977 · 22/09/2005 09:17

munz lol it does prepare you for when you have a toddler who wanders into your room. Sex just isnt ever quite the same..and the first few times after baby all it did was make me very very cautious as I knew what the end result could be..pmsl

OP posts:
munz · 22/09/2005 09:18

ooooh didn't think of that - might have to invest in a few locks, either that or always BD in the bathroom! he he he.

romilly · 22/09/2005 13:25

lol @ you lot! listen to all this nookie conversation. i wouldnt worry munz, ive been "out of commission" for months now!
munz - what did you want me to send a link to? not sure what you meant. i'll do it if you let me know what you mean.

sorry i couldnt post again yesterday to thank you all for your very kind birthday wishes. DQ i hope you had a lovely time being spoilt. i had a great day (not one single puke, just a couple of retches!) and even made it out in the evening (but didnt eat anything! or drink anything stronger than water!) BUT i am totally knackered today and feeling rough as old boots.

Bella - a special thankyou to you, how are things going hun?

Dyzz - Congratulations on becoming Mrs. Dyzz!

munz · 22/09/2005 13:28

yingers74 · 22/09/2005 13:45

dzz - congrats on the wedding. I was originally suppose to marry in vegas but in the end did the deed in hawaii instead. Love vegas though and caesar's palace is a lovely hotel, they make the ways in england seem so drab!!! Glad you all had a wonderful time.

yingers74 · 22/09/2005 13:45

ones not ways - pregnancy brain at work

romilly · 22/09/2005 13:49

munz · 22/09/2005 13:50

ok then where r u girls! I need ppl to talk to - the boss is on holiday!

romilly · 22/09/2005 13:50

yingers - hawaii sounds v. exotic, what a great place to get married

Bella23 · 22/09/2005 14:28

Rom - glad you have a good birthday and managing not to puke once - well done!!

Thanks so much for asking after me...

Still plodding along, off again this afternoon for my acupuncture session. Think I am going to ask him for some reassurance as with each month that goes by my hope just seems to fade. Well to be honest being hopeful just makes the arrival of each AF very upsetting!!

Sorry - am honestly fine, trying not to dwell, just feel like I am carrying around a little sadness all the time that's all! Just keep telling myself that it WILL happen.

Take care of yourself hon xx
