Jess&Bm - how many weeks are you now?

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 26/09/2005 12:01

nearly 37 weeks girls.... and god im getting there!!! Lets hope all these twinges and things are the start of the real thing - of course i could still be holding on in 3 weeks time!

george32 · 26/09/2005 16:55

You are so close now.
How about you Yingers? You must be nearly there too.

A very unproductive day for me. Fortuntely a day working from home tomorrow so, if I'm lucky, no getting up early for me.

yingers74 · 26/09/2005 19:11

Wow, 37 weeks! I am now 34 and half weeks. today tried to orgainise my 34 week antenatal appointment with my GP, I called and they told me that they did not have an appointment till 11th oct then the receptionist said 'do u have to have it at 34 weeks?'. Was so angry! Now I have to call every day at 8.30am to see if there are any free emergency slots or cancellations. What annoys me most is that previously you were not allowed to book appointments in advance. Someone obviously changed the rules and failed to tell the rest of us!

dramaqueen72 · 26/09/2005 19:21

sorry it wasnt plain sailing at the drs yingers...nightmare!luckily I see my midwife, who has a seperate appointment book. mind you shes not v interested in seeing me...as 'i've done it all before'
I'm delighted youve got so far tho yingers, i can remember you telling us about your BFP like it was last weekI was soooooooooo envious tell me again (pg brain total mush)do you know what you are having? and what are you calling her/him?

dramaqueen72 · 26/09/2005 19:22

meant to say george, if i can help any with your baby list just shout out. I remember the amount of stuff looks very daunting to a first time mum

yingers74 · 26/09/2005 19:25

How are u?

romilly · 26/09/2005 19:37

yingers i hope you manage to get an appt. - kick up a fuss, that usually helps!

well, i have come out in sympathy with you cadmum and gone down with a streaming horrible cold, just to add to my woes

DQ - i would love to hear of any breakthrough morning sickness tips in that article - have you had a chance to read it yet?

Cadmum: very exciting about feeling movements - i havent felt any yet - when did everybody else first start feeling things????

dramaqueen72 · 26/09/2005 19:38

oh how exciting to know,....this my fourth and I have never known so have no idea what its like to 'know'iyswim! are you going with dds names then ? bless'em!!
I'm doing okay thanks, abit up and down moodwise, and many strange mad panic-y moments that come with being pg!!! SPD really starting to kick in now, and so I am usually sat on birthing ball for comfortrather than sofa.
got to the tired and pissed off stage by about 4pm everyday, lovely. i'll never make it thro to 40wks at this rate!!!
we arent ready yet, the nursery isnt painted, the cot isnt bought.......but its getting sorted out sloooooooooowly. so I mustnt grumble. too much!...pg can make me so cranky sometimes

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 26/09/2005 19:40

J&BM - no you are definitely not the only miserable old bag on here! i reckon i qualify today!

munz · 26/09/2005 19:50

JM - u go girl with all this BD'ing! lol.

DQ - hope you're feeling more like ur self soon, is there anyway you can bring the scan date forward at all? hopefully things will go fine for you. ((((hugs))) no real advice but wil offer any support (((hugs)))

rom - I did have a flutter when I was about 16 weeks (my jeans seemed to have caused it as they were under the bump - either that or was wind! the m/w seems to think it was flutters - not had it since thou still not to worry bean's definatly moving /growing as the blooming naughty baby has been on me bladder all day and i've not got off the loo! most embarressing - been fine with loo stops until today!

yingers - not long for you either then, we'll have to see who's first from u and JM!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 26/09/2005 19:52

are you sure you are ok munz...... its not like you to be so downhearted..... im here if u need to chat hun, sorry about earlier on MSN.

munz · 26/09/2005 19:54

no it's fine just pissed off with the car insurance and everything in general really - it's only these PG hormones really. is there a 'clingey' stage u go thru? - i'm currently in the good wife cooking/cleaning and clingy stage - can't be much fun for DH cos i'm either shouting at him crying or wanting a hug - poor bloke doesn't know what to do! on the plus thou got those bamboozles today.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 26/09/2005 20:16

clingy yes - cooking and cleaning - NEVER!!!!

Im clingy with Dave all the time anyway, but im 10 times worse when pg!

Im suprised i havent broken down in tears over him gonig to Afghan yet!

munz · 26/09/2005 20:20

well see i've never been the clingy type never if anything it's the other way around, I jsut love my space too much and independance etc, but now i'm doing stupid stuff and wanting constant cuddles and reassurance, poor DH is getting really fed up with it i'm sure.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 26/09/2005 20:21

he will understand.... and if he doesnt tell him to piss off... and then point him in my direction and ill tell him whats what!

munz · 26/09/2005 20:23

lol - thanks hon, ah I know it's just me being stupid but i'm so insecure right now- and it's totally not what i'm like- god who'd be a PG woman with hormones! lol- on the other hand gave NU a right bollocking on the phone today as a result of the same hormones! lol

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 26/09/2005 20:24

Good for you.

Hormones just arent nice sometimes..... this is only your first experience of it all.... this is my 2nd! I must be mad!

munz · 26/09/2005 20:26

lol - well so far if every PG is like this i'll have at least 4 of em! lol - but ask me again after the birth! lol.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 26/09/2005 20:27

just you wait hun - you wont be saying that when you get to 37 weeks!!!

Birth is the easy bit - its over in hours compared to months!!!

munz · 26/09/2005 20:29
