I shall promise to pop in every now and again and in the mean time rest assured that i shall be jumping DH's bones at every opportunity!!

Cadmum · 06/07/2005 14:20

Dyzzidee: Welcome back. 13.5 already! WooHoo! How time flies...

Munzie and George: If you go with Romilly who is going to tolerated all of my worrying? You need to stay put, please.

Hereshoping: are you out there lurking?

Yellowbear: Are you still feeling that awful pain? I am hoping that you haven't posted lately because you are feeling so much better. Take care of yourself.

Bella: Lovely to see you drop in! I fully understand why you would prefer to join us after a BFP. Somewhat similar logic for my not joining the Due in March thread, I suppose.

DQ: Are you suggesting (in some subtle way) that we may be insane for daring to have 4?!!?! Bear in mind that I would have 10 if we could afford to provide for all of them. I didn't find a significant jump from 2 to 3 but it does make it more of a juggling act if someone is unwell or something, I guess.

Yingers: Glad to hear that you are officially a bouncy castle! Should last at least another 6 years!

Wendy: Only 2 more sleeps until you get to see what is going on . Can't wait to hear all the news.

George: Belated thank you for your answer about the faint line. I am resisting the urge to buy another stick (or two) just to be sure that it is darker... Am feeling ghastly today and I am too exhausted to function after about 7pm so I guess that I am really pregnant! No need to wee on another stick really, RIGHT?!?!?!

Nemo: Don't know how I would survive without this thread. Thanks again for starting it! LOL about DH and DS asleep on the couch. Does that mean that they did or didn't make it to swimming lessons?

Munzie: Are you stil feeling sick today?

munz · 06/07/2005 14:54

cad mum - sickness has subsided today it comes and goes really, boobs are like footballs thou esp first thing in the morning when I ahve no undies on!

fwiw - my inital tests had fainter lines than the control, but as the week progressed the line got darker and was the same as the control. don't think it matters about the strength as long as it's there!

yellowbear · 06/07/2005 15:02

Hi, just quicly checking in!

Thanks all for thinking of me, the pains are still there but i have been to clinic today and listened to the heartbeat so that has put my mind at rest a bit. Back in 2 weeks for more blood tests - I've never had so much blood taken in my life as with this pregnancy!

Dq I am in Leeds, where are you.

Hope everyone is okay & having a nice day!

yingers74 · 06/07/2005 15:38

Names? no idea about names, with our first dd we dismissed so many names that I am not sure there are any left to consider! so suggestions welcome.

yellow - glad things went well

munz - hope sickness stays away. i was so relieved when it stopped and I could walk round the supermarket instead of running as fast as poss!

Cadmum · 06/07/2005 17:59

Yingers: Can't really help with the name-game as there aren't any that DH and I agree on at the moment either.
I am at the run-around-the-shop stage as well right now...

munz · 06/07/2005 18:03

me neither b4 when we were TTC we had 2 of each now we can't agree!

we had Kira for a girl and harvey for a boy but i've gone off of both of those.

Cadmum · 06/07/2005 18:17

Yellowbear: Thanks for the update. Sorry that you are still feeling uncomfortable but I am relieved that you heard the little-one's heart beating away. That always goes a long way to making one feel reassured. What is all of the blood-work about? I am hoping to have everything checked this time as welll...

Munzie: Did I see you on the due in Mmarch thread?!?! Wish I was brave enough. My boobs are not sore (rather strangely) but I do feel sick and dizzy...

I have an appt with my GP this afternoon and I feel sick just thinking about it. Hope he will be kind and helpful or I will be looking for someone new. I gather, from what friends here have told me that most women (near 80%) opt for an ObGyn... I would NEVER have gone that route before but this time I really don't give a toss as long as I have a healthy baby in my arms by the end. (From home-birth to hospital with an Ob?!?! What has come over me?) I really am just SO grateful to be pregnant and I don't want to take any risks.

Cadmum · 06/07/2005 18:18

DS1's long time best buddy is Keira and I love the name. It really suits her, mind.

Frizbe · 06/07/2005 19:15

Hi all, hope your feeling well ish, and not too sicky or windy! nothing to report here, just toddling along feeling a bit queasy still, but to be expected!!
Cadmum, ObGyn's seem to be the in thing Stateside certainly, I didn't know it stretched to Canada tho!
We're currently bickering over names as well! dh likes Scarlett....or Poppy......I like Romilly! (soz Rom!) and as for boys names, he wants Fionn...I like Nathaniel....we'll probably call it Bart....although we're due a maggie technically, as ss is eldest, and dd comes next! but then I don't have the large blue hair, even if dh can pass for homer under a pile of Do-nuts....

munz · 06/07/2005 19:34

cadmum - yes althou i'm a just inside the door one! then again 10 tests later and it's still pos so after friday i'll commit to leave the TTC thread and go to the anti natal one

munz · 06/07/2005 19:35

ooh cadmum - how did u go at the DR's?

YB - good to hear u have a strong heart beat there.

Cadmum · 06/07/2005 19:42

Haven't been yet... 4pm our time 9:30 yours so you will have to read all about it in the morning, I'm afraid. DS1 and DD have Softball this evening so I won't have time to post until way past your bed-time... I sure hope it goes well; I'm giving myself ulcers thinking about it.

Frizbe · 06/07/2005 19:44

Cadmum, chill you'll be fine!
