hey there beanie girls how is everyone. munz i am sorry i havent been e-mailing cause i am so sick i've actually taken a week's holiday to be away from work (my boss is away and still doesnt know but hes back this week and i didnt want to be puking in front of him). i will tell him after the 12 week scan (30th August).

like you munzie i have now told a few more people including my mother. she was thrilled but informed me that she was sick as a dog with all three of her pregnancies for 4 months!! i really didnt need to hear that. i am worried about how i will get through work over the next few weeks.

frizbe - sorry i put that image in your head! i am normally quite socially acceptable when not pg. lol

how is everyone else, v. quiet without dramaqueen and cadmum, i hope cadmum is ok.

Frizbe · 18/08/2005 20:39

Hi girls, don't miss me too much as I'm away this weekend! Wales again Munz!
Have been wretching all day, but so far now't come up...fun, fun, fun....
Hope your all ok, and Cadmum, where are you?

munz · 18/08/2005 21:41

ooh friz - where abouts this time?

rom - don't worry bout it hon, - a weeks holiday again - lucky thing u! my scan's come thru 31st august. can't wait.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 18/08/2005 21:47

Excellent news hun - less than 2 weeks away!

Cant wait to see the pic - you better post it!!!

munz · 19/08/2005 08:23

I will i'll get DH to do it,

quick q for u girls, thought i'd ask u and see if we all have the same answer.

see a mate last night who's also TTC, she has PCOS, but has recently lost a lot of weight and is not 7.9st. her AF is now regualr coming every 6 weeks (ish give or take a day or two) anyhow she normally has unbearable AF's v bad pains etc and really suffers this month however she only bled for 2 days and it was so light there was next to nothing there (her words) instead of the normal v v heavy 5 days. anyhow she did a test (to make sure) and was a BFN but the test line she says was so faint it was hardly there - I told her to try another test (she used boots own one) but she doesn't seem to think there's a point, althou I did also suggest perhaps she's lost too much weight and it's having the adverse effect ie/ her AF will stop again as it's only been regular for about 5 months.

Anyhow thought i'd ask u guys, what do u rec?

munz · 19/08/2005 08:35

)trail of thought was the test didn't work properly)

romilly · 19/08/2005 11:53

munz - happy 11 weeks today !!!! that's great you have your scan date the day after me. are you showing at all yet hon? i am, will definitely need to rethink my wardrobe, lol

now re: your friend, it could have been an implantation bleed and the test is too early as you said. how many dpo is she if she knows? or otherwise i would say there is a possibility that all that weight loss has messed up her periods slightly. i know that happens a lot, i had a friend who dieted so much her periods dissapeared for a while. not a good idea if you are ttc. anyway fingers crossed it is the implantation bleed and not that!

friz - have a lovely weekend in sunny wales meant to say that i hope your poor friend gets through monday alright. what a hard thing to go through.

romilly · 19/08/2005 11:53

p.s. munz did you hear back from cadmum when you e-mailed her?

munz · 19/08/2005 12:06

rom - so far no nothing, bit worried as she's normally replying straigh away if I mail at lunch time, perhaps she's busy with DH/the internet's down - hope that's the case.

unfortunatly she doesn't know how many DPO she is as all she watches is her CM currently. might actually suggest she waits a few days and tries again, I told her about the wilkos one as they're cheap, and as we well know PG test's arn't cheap!

anyhow happy 11 weeks hon! not showing yet - perhaps just put ona touch of extra paddin around the tum but nothing really, boobs are huge thou they already look saggy

romilly · 19/08/2005 12:15

lol munz - dont worry about boobs looking saggy - if you breastfeed they will never be the same again anyway (according to everyone i know who has had kids) so we will all be in the same boat, along with millions of other women. i am sure we will have more important things to keep us occupied than how perky our boobs are by that stage!

munz did you ever get an answer to your question about taking pregnacare past 12 weeks? i would have thought you definitely should, but correct me if i am wrong

munz · 19/08/2005 12:36

no forgot to ask the m/w didn't I! lol, althou in the bumff she gave me it says it's safe to continue to take so I don't see any harm in it.

boobs - ah well, guess they'll be getting aquainted with the floor then! lol.

are you showing much yet? and is that sickness easing up yet? (hopefully only another 2/3 weeks max for u)

munz · 19/08/2005 12:38

sorry hon u said u were showing - I have a confession thou, althou still fitting into my 'regualr' clothes mum's given me some size 14/16's to start of maternity and I have a pair of jeans (12 maternity ones), i've starte to waer the larger sizes - mainly cos they're the only ones ironed thou! lol. must iron my clothes!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 19/08/2005 12:38

hey girls - glad you are all ok.

Well i am officially Jessica free now..... see my baby girlie has gone thread.....

jeez, i need chocolate!

munz · 19/08/2005 12:39

oh don't start me off agian JM with choc! lol. was she ok when she went?

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 19/08/2005 12:40

yeah, she was fine.... i was a mess!

george32 · 19/08/2005 14:52

Hi all,
Been rushed off my feet with work. Finally got enough done to be off for 2 weeks - WooHoo!!
Only 6 weeks in the office once I go back - how scary is that!

Rom & Munz, glad you both have your scans through, not long to wait now. Your 12 weeks seems to have gone much quicker than mine did. It must just be when it is yourself that time comes to a standstill.

Feeling enormous, the baby is definitely showing now, my tummy has gone hard and there is lots of sqirming going on

Right, off to pack my huge wardrobe of maternity clothes (hmmm, don't think it will take me long) as we are off to St Ives tomorrow for a week. Can't wait. Plus my birthday is on Wed so going to spend the day on the beach being spoiled rotten.

Have a good week everyone.

munz · 19/08/2005 17:01

just quick b4 I leave for home cadmum's emailed me, she's ok had a bad sicky bug thingy but she's doing OK, hopefully back soon once she's got a bit more time, but main thing is her and bean are ok.

Frizbe · 21/08/2005 21:14

Oh that's great news Munz {{{Hugs}}} to Cadmum, get better soon.

Dd is currently sulking at being back home again, have promised we'll go camping again next week, as probably last chance this year, unless indian summer.....

Hope your all doing ok, seem ok here and have been all weekend, no gagging! hurrah, has it finally passed?

munz · 22/08/2005 13:20

mornin all, where r u girls? it's been dead quite of late - or am I the only one on a constant skive? lol.

romilly · 22/08/2005 15:56

morning munz - you big skiver ! the only reason i havent been on is because i've been too damn sick to do anything that requires thinking. at the moment i am just simply getting through each day hoping tomorrow i will be less sick. i havent held a proper meal down and i just dont know how i am going to manage back at work next week. thank god i took this week off as holiday, that is one blessing. anyway munz i am so pleased you got hold of cadmum and she is ok, apart from the sick bug - cadmum - know how you feel!

friz - so glad to hear you have stopped gagging, how many weeks are you now??? 13 or 14 isnt it?

george - i know you will have gone on holiday now, hope the weather in St.Ives is better than it is in london or you wont be doing much beaching and wishing you a very happy birthday for wednesday

romilly · 23/08/2005 14:43

where is everyone today? nemo? munz? anyone out there!

munz · 23/08/2005 14:55

i'm floating about

Cadmum · 23/08/2005 15:23

I am actually here as well...

I have a nuchal scan on Thursday but I am really scared about going. Ridiculous, I know...

I am feeling really miserable in every sense of the word at the moment (read sorry for myself). DH will not be here to hold my hand and I still haven't even told our children that I am pregnant. DS2 has been so ill with gastro that I have't slept well in ages and I have been doing load after load of laundry and there are still piles of towels and things to wash. With DS1 and DD it was very short lived but as with all these things DS2 is hanging on to it for ages. It will be a week tomorrow that he first threw up. I feel helpless because all he wants to do is be carried around.

DH will not know until Mid-October about a permanent position in New York so that means I am a single parent until at least then... Did I mention that the schools in our area are so bad that I have been home schooling DS1 and DD since January? I just can't bear the thought of doing this 24 hours a day 7 days a week by myself. I know that as soon as I stop feeling like being sick all day long that things will look considerably more 'rosy' and that I have SO much to be thankful for but I am truly overwhealmed and lonely. I am lucky to speak to an adult once a week lately... Sorry, rant over. This is the main reason that I have avoided posting for the last week as I have nothing but misery to add.

I am glad that you are all still here and doing well. Sorry again for the insane rant.
