well really peed off now - some rude person had a home birth last night so my m/w didn't come out to see me - didn't even ring I had to call her apparently she's ment to call me this afternoon/tomorrow morning, how long after the m/w visit do u have the scan? am now getting really stressed about the scan after everything, It wasn't so bad when I though i'd get one next week, but now I probably won't even see her till next week - I know i'm being irrational about it all, but I mean god!!! URGGGHHHHHH! DH laughed and told me not to stress out - yeah right it's not him that had to suffer so much is it/him that felt like a failiur with the m/c's.

george - a friend of mine had a friend who was a veggie, then when she was PG craved meat (didn't eat it thou) then after the birth she started to eat it, recons she's been a veggie all her life till then. I have a thing for the smell of butchers - weird!

rom - awww honney - could u get to the dr's to see if they can give u something? althou as the otehr girls say it is a good sign everything's where it should be. failing that have u tried lucosade I heere works?

Bella23 · 16/08/2005 14:09

Thanks ladies and great dust Rom!
So want to be able to join you all soon, lets hope throwing money at the situation via acupuncture does the trick!! I think when I do eventually get my BFP I shall be literally running down the street screaming, partly out of relief as much as joy!!

Rom - sorry about the sickness. Without sounding like a convert, you could consider acupuncture. A friend of mine had really bad morning sickness and that is the only thing that helped.

Wendy - glad to hear you sounding ok and looking forwards. You really are having a rough time - lets fast forward to the better times around the corner xxx

munz · 16/08/2005 14:58

ok so now I feel a tit, M/W's just rang and said the apt was for tomorrow not today - URGHHHH!! someone shoot me now, god I feel so stupid making a fuss, will still see if I can get a scan next week thou.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 16/08/2005 16:05

Munzy munzy munzy..... what is going on with your pregnancy brain?!

You make me laugh so much..... just calm it, it wont be long now ok!!

george32 · 16/08/2005 16:25

Whoops!! Never mind Munz, at least she is coming & you didn't just dream the whole appointment.

Bella, throw some money on lots of lovely romantic weekends away with DH too. They are bound to do the trick.

Cadmum, where are you???? Hope you are OK

munz · 16/08/2005 16:47

lol, I know PG brian - need to sort it out - thinkin of the postie's what it is! no more weird dreams thou!

ahy cadmum - hope you're ok. will do an email for u.

friz - hope your apt went well

Frizbe · 16/08/2005 17:45

lol Munz! tell us all about it tomorrow then!

All is well so far as we can see with my little bump, we're measuring right for dates, so 27th Feb it is! we have a heartbeat, two arms, two legs and fingers n toes! bubba even 'looked' at the scanner as it went over, as if so say, what are you bothering me with that for! and glad to say (not) that I'm still feeling sick in places...

Hope everyone else is ok?

romilly · 16/08/2005 19:12

friz - that is fab news about the scan thrilled for you hon. yes i have tried ginger ale and bacon sarnies thanks, i think i overdid the ginger ale and now i just associate it with some v. bad chucking sessions

i also have this absolutely VILE symptom, which i will gross you all out by sharing with you - saliva.... in vast quantities... constantly in my mouth...ewwwww. it is so bad i even had to use a bowl as a sort of spitoon last night i dont think mr. rom will ever want to have sex with me again after this!!! lol

bella - its soooooo nice having you here to chat with us, stay, stay!!! i think george's idea about the romantic weekends is great advice - but i also think you are doing the best thing with acupuncture, have heard so many good reports about it with ttc. i guess george is right as well that even though it seems a long time you have been trying, it is a perfectly normal length of time in the ttc world. i am thinking if i dont improve with the sickness soon i am going to have do something more proactive like acupuncture.

J&BM - meant to say this morning i am sorry you are suffering with SPD hon. i dont know much about it but it sounds damn painful. does it go after you have given birth?

where is nemo and cadmum? where are you girls????????

munz - you make me laugh as ever, i have been having progesterone-fuelled weird dreams as well, one was like a disaster movie, action-packed and quite riveting. havent had a pornographic one yet! loved your typo about pregnancy brian, PMSL

munz · 17/08/2005 09:08

lol, ah u know me rom, it's not my posts if everything's typed/spelt right! lol.

keep having v v arousing dreams which is ahem embaressing! lol. still m/w apt today - hopefully she's on the labour ward this morning so might not see her if someon rudely goes into labour today! lol, but she did say if I didn't themn i'd see soemone else on the w/e. which is still good me thinks.

watched constantine last night - -anyone else seen it yet?

munz · 17/08/2005 13:40

well girls, been to the see the m/w today, and good news!!!! she hear the heart beat and the placenta and says it's a viable PG, YAY there's def something there, i'm not imagionin it!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 17/08/2005 13:42

Excellent babe - we knew this anyway though didnt we!

When's your scan????

munz · 17/08/2005 13:44

well, I was worried there for a while as symptoms etc had gone a bit, but YAY!!!!

scan will be hopefully next week, althou i'll not be having midwife only care as I have gyne probs form a youngster will have to be under the specialist as well - but hell I don't care - YAY!!!!

DH says we can tell the family now! YAY!!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 17/08/2005 13:44

YAY!!!! Get it out in the open!

munz · 17/08/2005 13:46

YAY!!!!! he he he will tell them all tonight as my parents are going away tomorrow and i'm sure they won't want everyone harrassing them about it so will tell ppl today then they can't contact mum and dad! lol

YAY!!! DH had a tear in his eye - says he didn't but I see it!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 17/08/2005 13:47

that men for ya! DH was the same with Jess and this one - still gets watery eyes now and we hear it every few weeks!

munz · 17/08/2005 13:49

lol, I was offered the downs tests but not sure baout going for it - it doesn't bother me at all if we have a downs baby or not. not sure on DH's views thou, but we did agree on the HIV, to be on the safe side. (sure it will be fine thou)

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 17/08/2005 13:51

didnt have downs tests with either of mine... had th HIV with jess, so obviously not needed this time round!

VERY personal decision but the way i see it, i wouldnt get rid of a baby with downs so why do i need to know before its born???

munz · 17/08/2005 13:58

wel yes that's it, as I say i'm not fussed just glad to be PG tbh. but will need to discuss it at lenght with DH and get his views on it. Just rang mum now who's chuffed for us both, so all systems go here!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 17/08/2005 13:59

Excellent.... mum suprised???

munz · 17/08/2005 14:01

no she already knew, but has been raining in her excitement somewhat bless her, as she's not been able to talk to anyone about it down home, but now all and sundry will be knockin the door! lol.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 17/08/2005 14:01

awww bless.... just al oad of other rellies to tell!

I found the telling relatives quite hard - even made DH phone my dad this time round as i was too scared!

munz · 17/08/2005 14:04

lol, I know I was dreading tell my brother but he was fab about it - miffed we didn't tell him straight away actually as we had waited a week.

Nemo1977 · 17/08/2005 20:15

aww munz congrates on the hearing hb,it is fab isnt it. Re downs testing i never had it with either as I wouldnt terminate like JABM. It is personal choice.

Hope your all ok, just to update you re my friend whose baby died the other day, she's decided to not have an autopsy, as she feels what's meant to be is meant to be.....the funeral is on Monday....shan't be going as other end of the country, but she knows she's in my thoughts.....
