Thumbs up to the lying on the sofa comatose idea Rom, works for me!! (Esp with box of chocs in one hand, remote in the other!!)

Glad you are feeling better today Frizbe, I think it is ups & downs for a while.

munz · 14/08/2005 16:41

friz - jesus 15lb, - to echo the other girls why did they let the baby get so big/her go so far? (((hugs))) for your friends.

JM&B - happy b'day honney

rom - yes kept busy blitzed the house yesterday - DH has been doing it for me but it's not quite the same as doing it myself! besides the comp's int he spare room and I don't like to disturbe them, still only a week to go!

pains have gone now, but whilst reading the PG books today from the m/w it says not to eat unwashed salad - have any of u girls? cos all week i've been having unwashed let &cue in my cheese sarnies. - obviously will wash from now on but am hoping all will be fine - that was a new one on me.

< ooh and did I hear thorntons choccys on offer? share em around!>

hope everyone's ok.

george32 · 15/08/2005 08:49

Oooh, birthday cake. I know it's only 8.50am but I could really eat a slice now!

Rubbish night again for me so working from home today to try to feel a bit more human. Also suffering from hayfever, which is sooooo annoying, and weeing every 10 minutes. Oh the joys of pregnancy.

Feel better now for having a moan.

Munz, what is salad? Sounds like something green & healthy to me and far to dangerous to consider eating. Best steer clear & join me in some cake!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 15/08/2005 08:51

still got a little bit left george.... think that will go down well mid-morning!!!

Suspected SPD really getting me down now.... really must consider going to docs!

george - I know salads are not too good but it's just about all i'm managing to eat without feeling like pukeing evewry where everything else is too heavy i'm finding - althou did manage a nice slice of black forest gateux! (and cream - patesterised (sp) thou.)

Bella23 · 15/08/2005 16:46

Just popping in to say hello to you ladies. Sounds like you are all blooming, how lovely!!

Well no news from me. Having good and bad days but the light at the end of the tunnel still seems so far away! Am trying to stay positive and hopefully the acupuncture will pay off soon. I feel like I have been waiting too long for my turn !!

Anyway no gloom for you ladies, so happy to hear you all getting along so nicely.

Wendy - still in my thoughts and hope you are ok xx

wendy11 · 15/08/2005 18:38

Thought I would pop in to say hello and check that you are all OK. Good to hear from you Bella. Keep those positive thoughts flowing!!

I am not too bad all things considering. The loss of this baby has not hit me as hard as the loss of Adam and sometimes when I am feeling down it is actually for Adam and not for this baby and then I feel so guilty that I am not grieving properly for this baby.

I am returing to work on Wednesday so trying to get some degree of normality back into our lives.

We have booked a reivew appointment for the IVF clinic for the 11th October with a view to trying once again later this year or early next year. Just hope that it will be 3rd time lucky for us.

Going back for acupuncture as well this week so trying to stay positive and look to the future. Bella I could well be your ttc buddy again in the not too distant future.

Take care everyone and I will stay in touch

Frizbe · 15/08/2005 20:48

Hi all, glad to see your staying positive Wendy, sending you lots of luck for later on this year {{Hugs}}

Cake, send it over here!!!

Well girls I have my 1st scan tomorrow, so fingers x'd all is ok?......will let you know.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 15/08/2005 22:21

Sorry girls... cake all gone! Bump enjoyed every last mouthful!!!

Suspected SPD KILLING me tonight.... just wanna cry, if no better in the morning may have to surrender and go to docs.....

munz · 16/08/2005 09:00

yep glad ur staying positive wendy - and when u're ready we'll muster up some baby dust/sticky dust and positive vibes for u if u choose IVF again.

bella- glad to hear u being positive as well.

JM - shame on u for not sharing the cake!

friz - good luck today with ur apt.

rom - where r u hon? missed u yesterday.

first M/W apt today had a bit of a prod again yesterday as u do and felt a 'lump' (assuming it's the bean) in my right lower pelvic area - is that where it would be now?

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 16/08/2005 09:02

1st MW appointment already munz???? EXCELLENT!

Baby will be sitting very low down in your pelvis so you can possibly feel the top of your uterus....

cant get over the fact you are almost at the safe mark!!!! SO PLEASED!

No, I didnt share the cake.... bump decided it wanted it all to itself!!!

munz · 16/08/2005 09:07

I know so excited and nervous at the same time! hopefully all will go well and i'll get the scan next week - i'm just dreading if they say ooh it's twins! - well I won't mind but we'll struggle a bit money wise getting everything, still we shall see!

how r u hon?

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 16/08/2005 09:11

im not too bad babe.... just my pelvis, lower back and tops of my legs feel like dead weights and VERY sore!

Everything will be fine, and if its twins - ah well!!! Dont forget ill have LOADS of stuff to send you - my bubba will be 4-5 months old by then.... we already have a suitcase FULL of 0-3 month neutral stuff!

munz · 16/08/2005 09:12

bloody hell already! - is that from jess?

get down to the dr's mrs - or ring the m/w at least.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 16/08/2005 09:18

stuff from Jess, and some wintery stuff that a few VERY kind mners sent me.... so this kid will be well kitted out!

i know i should go to docs or phone mw but just cant be arsed! Its on my list of things to do, along with a million other things!!!

Frizbe · 16/08/2005 10:54

J&BM I know what you mean about kitting the bubba out, I saved all of dd's stuff and as she was a Nov baby, so long as I have another girl, all the stuff should be ok this time round too! still cold at begining of March afterall! must check the stuff out actually, seem to remember most of baby, baby stuff is neutral, so should be ok for boy as well.....ss is coming to the scan and getting very excited, I just hope all is ok.......he's going, boy, boy, boy....I keep saying its only 12 weeks, we probably can't tell!

munz · 16/08/2005 11:03

good luck friz hope all goes well for u.

Frizbe · 16/08/2005 11:06

Cheers Munz!

romilly · 16/08/2005 11:44

hey bella and wendy lovely to see you both

wendy - it is wonderful to hear that you are going to go for a third-time-lucky round of IVF - and do the acupuncture as well. i knew you would be brave and try again, and we will all be 100% behind you all the way. did you and d/h manage some time away? sounds like your op. healed ok then, thank god. are you getting back to your normal cycle now? all the best with going back to work as well, not a nice thought but can help to keep busy.

bella - i am always wondering how you are getting on, it seems so unfair it is taking this long as you say, but i am confident it will be your turn soon honey - it has to be. wishing you a tonne of babydust this month x

friz - all the best with the scan

munz - i'll catch up with you in a bit - just need to go and throw up urgently, seriously, dont want to whinge but the puking is getting me down this week. I CANT STOP

Frizbe · 16/08/2005 11:48

Oh Rom have you tried the ginger ale cure? or the bacon sarnie one? {{{Hugs}}}

george32 · 16/08/2005 12:02

Hi everyone,
Bella, great to hear from you.
Missing you not being on here all the time. Did you get any further with having any tests done or have you decided to let nature take it's course? It will happen, it's not been that long really. I hope you are managing to keep yourself distracted and busy doing other things.

Wendy, great to see you too. I'm glad you are doing OK most of the time and I'm sure you are right about work helping. It does tend to distract you from things. I'm really pleased that you are going to give it another go too.

Good luck at your scan Friz.

Rom, sorry about the sick but it's a good sign you know (Sorry, not helping I know!)

george32 · 16/08/2005 12:03

Mmmm, did someone mention Bacon sarnies................I'm sure as a veggie I'm not supposed to be drooling now!
