Sorry to bother again.

Im getting pains in my lower stomach and back that feel like im in labour but im only 23 weeks pregnant. I didnt have this with my first baby and im scared. I dont think i am in labour but thats the only way i could think to describe the pains. It's not constant, just on and off but when it happens its so painful.

Jacksmama · 04/01/2009 03:49

Hello

Thanks for your advice last night. Got home from hospital not too long ago. They said i was going into premature labour but gave me an injection to stop it. Contractions stopped now but ive got to take it easy and if it happens again they said they will inject steroids into the baby to mature her lungs. Fingers crossed that wont need to be done though. xx

BabyBaby123 · 04/01/2009 16:32

did your waters go last night? How scary for you - I'm a week ahead of you so can imagine how you must be feeling. You really need to take it easy, have you got people around to help?

MummyToLeon · 04/01/2009 16:36

Waters started leaking yeah, was terrifying.

my dp is trying to help yeah but baby is so clingy.

OP posts:
BabyBaby123 · 04/01/2009 16:50

i'm surprised they didn't keep you in. Did they stop the waters leaking? Have they given you steroids? You really do need to rest - your dp will have to cope!
