Sorry to bother again.

Im getting pains in my lower stomach and back that feel like im in labour but im only 23 weeks pregnant. I didnt have this with my first baby and im scared. I dont think i am in labour but thats the only way i could think to describe the pains. It's not constant, just on and off but when it happens its so painful.

I'm not making an accusation, but can guarantee cyclizine would do nothing to prevent infection. It is also available in tablet form, so unlikely to be given as an injection. The only reason they inject it is if the patient isn't keeping anything down so would puke the pills.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 07/01/2009 11:30

no I mean if someone was trolling THEY would be insulting!

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 07/01/2009 11:31
Sad
fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 07/01/2009 11:35

(which you probably knew, am posting while it's busy at work which is always a mistake!)

lou031205 · 07/01/2009 13:03

Didn't misread you, I was just making it clear that I am not making an accusation, but am

nappyaddict · 07/01/2009 15:36

lou - i did guess how to spell the drug she was injected with so it was probably something similar sounding to that if that is for something completely different.

hannahlouhoo · 07/01/2009 16:09

Nappy addict are you in contact with her? I had a quick email conversation with her, but not something i would get too involved in. look after yourself!

Lulumama · 07/01/2009 16:13

sorry, am still

too much of her various stories not ringing true, and i think it is fair to say i am not one to cry 'troll' for no reason.

MTL said she was given an injection to stop the labour and yet was allowed to go home? she was also given an internal which is contraindicated

it just does not add up

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 07/01/2009 16:17

also very sadly

surprisenumber3 · 07/01/2009 16:17

I agree, I noticed discrepancies with MTL a while ago but chose to just leave the threads!

If it is true then I am sorry to hear about your worries, but if it isn't then I think it's really insulting to all those ladies suffering PROM and pre-term babies. I myself have had a pre-term and it's not easy!

I worked in maternity for a very long time and cannot think of anything that sounds like Cyclazine for premature labour. Other drugs that end in 'ine' yes, but nothing like Cyclazine.

Sorry, but

nappyaddict · 07/01/2009 16:29

Nothing else beginning with C? Perhaps I got confused and she wasn't given it for infection I only had a very quick conversation with her last night because I was very tired. I chat to her most days and have spoken to her since she first joined back in early august.

i really do think it's a wind up - hospitals do not date pregnancies wrong at 16 weeks by a whole 4 weeks! The nuchal scan at 19 weeks is very odd, the hospital loosing the notes, being on the injection, getting pregnant a couple of weeks after birth whilst breastfeeding. I mean - come on!

Lulumama · 07/01/2009 16:43

outing of babyjjbaby??

Lulumama · 07/01/2009 16:44

ethanchristopher was a troll too

BabyBaby123 · 07/01/2009 16:44

i thought she was a regular?

AnarchyAunt · 07/01/2009 16:46

Have been watching this and sorry to say I am also . I have been for ages tbh. Huge apologies if MtL is for real but too many things are not adding up for me to be certain, and like Lulu I do not cry troll easily.

Babyjjbaby?? Was she a troll? I missed that.

nappyaddict · 07/01/2009 16:46

You know what I am most shocked about - the difference between treatment at different hospitals.

I know someone who's waters leaked at 20 weeks. They had no antibiotics, no swabs taken and they weren't given any injections or steroids. They were examined, had a scan and later given some steroids at 24 weeks as a precaution.

actually the recipe thread was for her friend's little boy who she was looking after.

BabyBaby123 · 07/01/2009 16:51

really???

Lulumama · 07/01/2009 16:54

no, i did not see it

well, i guess babyjjbaby has some issues and hopefully mN can support her in those.

there was a lot of help given under 'false pretences' and people will feel they have been deceived

but chacun a son gout

nappy, i hope that MTL is not a troll and that you are not giving time/emotion/advice uneccesarily

Lulumama · 07/01/2009 16:55

but she said it was for her DS nappy. which is kind of different.
pretneding a teddy bear is a baby would lead me to thikn she has deep issues that need adressing, and i don;t mean that horribly. she is someone who obviously has a lot of care and nurture to give, but pretedning you ahve a child is big lie to tell
