@Niftymum88 @JH20000 @SausageRoll90 sending strength and courage to you all and anyone else with their dating scan this week. It's a really tough wait but you will be out the other side so soon and chances are very good that all will be well. I'm rooting for you all. @frolickinglamb good luck and let us know!

SunshineRose12 · 08/06/2026 16:04

@hollyhocks2 great news on NIPT, really happy for you. Must be such a relief x

JH20000 · 08/06/2026 17:03

Scan went well. Had the combined test bloods done at the appt. Baby is measuring 12 weeks 5 days officially. All looked good so fingers crossed the bloods come back OK.

frolickinglamb · 08/06/2026 17:14

Scan was perfect! One baby measuring 11 weeks and the other 11+1. So perfect for the dates. And they were cuddling 😭😭🥹🥹 so relieved

Yay so exciting and glad your scan went well! Xx

Great news on your scans @frolickinglamb & @JH20000 💛💛💛

avocadotoast11 · 08/06/2026 18:25

all good with my scan, the sonographers today (there was two) were so kind and thorough, I didn’t have to use my prepped questions after all 😅

I was very nervous after last time being told to go to a&e because of slightly high BP, but today was super calm and luckily nothing was flagged as abnormal. I did come to the appointment with my BP already measured at home as I was feeling nervous and they accepted my home reading and reassured me.

The results of the blood and a full report with measurement also came back online within a few hours of the appointment. It’s silly how when I have low expectations about the standard of care, the NHS goes above and beyond, and when I show up calm they catch me off guard with some surprising procedure/protocol. But I’m very grateful today was good :)))

Sounds like a really positive experience! That’s so great to hear! And glad everything went well with the scan

Ncl31 · 08/06/2026 23:00

So pleased the scans today were positive.
also, I hope that everyone else awaiting a scan is managing to stay distracted and not getting too stressed. It’s so difficult I know. You’re all so strong and sending positive thoughts and prayers

hollyhocks2 · 09/06/2026 07:37

@frolickinglamb@avocadotoast11@JH20000 so great to hear all scans went well! Delighted for you all. @SunshineRose12 thank you ❤️ it is a huge relief. I’m hoping I can start to enjoy this pregnancy now!

I've really got myself worked up today....I've called triage and they've recommended I go to a and e..... I'm waiting for my husband to come home. Just put TV on for the kids and am hiding upstairs. Don't want them to see me anxious. I'm worried I've had a slight amniotic fluid leak. For just over a week I've been a bit more damp. I've mostly got dark underwear/ used reusable pads which are dark too so I don't know when it started. I'm telling myself it's likely to be urine or vaginal secretions but they are a pale brown colour. I've had 2 babies before and both have been prom. One at 36 weeks (big flood) one at 40 weeks (a trickle it didn't notice). Now I'm 15 weeks. I've started using thin panty liners. Theyve been pale brown (pic I'll add in comments). After I did an exercise class yesterday there was a smell I think is amniotic fluids. Smells a bit like sperm and sweet but I've not had sex in ages. I thought it could be sweat, but after a wash, smell is still there. This morning I thought it was ok as the pad was dry, but after 6 hours it looked like this. Has anyone had this so early in pregnancy?

howluckyarewe · 09/06/2026 18:13

@Alwaysgrowing I'm roughly 13ish weeks by my last scan & have had this for the last week too. I've been on hols & walking a lot - think it's fairly normal? I hope that's the case for you. 🙏🏼

Alwaysgrowing · 09/06/2026 18:24

I've decided not to go to a and e, I've not got one local and, it probably is wee on the pad. Also, I don't want to stress out my kids, my nearly 8 year old in particular. I'll go if I get any other symptoms of actual leak more. Since the scan I just feel more invested and anxious.

hollyhocks2 · 09/06/2026 18:26

I can see why you’re worried and you are doing the right thing getting checked out. Hopefully it’s a case of being (understandably) paranoid because of your past experiences and actually this will have another explanation. Let us know how you get on.

hollyhocks2 · 09/06/2026 18:27

Cross posted! Glad you seem to feel a little calmer ❤️

Ncl31 · 09/06/2026 19:58

@Alwaysgrowing so sorry you’ve had this stress. When is your next appointment?
I have my 16 week appointment 2 weeks tomorrow. I’m going to ask about my legs swelling slightly already. My socks have left a terrible mark on my legs tonight after work….

JH20000 · 10/06/2026 10:14

@Alwaysgrowing how are you? Understandable you’re worried but always best to get checked out. Hope you’re okay anyway

Alwaysgrowing · 10/06/2026 10:20

Thanks. My 16 week appointment is just under 2 weeks. This morning I'm quite happy as I've not leaked at att the previous 2 nights so happy it's a combination of wee and sweat. I've not had much on work wise this week so I'm worrying about pregnancy more.

SunshineRose12 · 10/06/2026 18:35

All good at my scan today, and measuring one week ahead of where I thought I was, which feels like a little win.

Will send a request to the WhatsApp now!

hollyhocks2 · 10/06/2026 19:45

@Alwaysgrowing glad to hear. And @SunshineRose12 that is fab! A week ahead too! What does that make your due date now?

SunshineRose12 · 10/06/2026 20:44

@hollyhocks2 now 16 December from 22 December. Very happy to be a bit further away from Christmas Day!
