I had my final reassurance scan at EPU today at 11+2.
All was well and measuring 11+6. Got my dating scan on Wednesday. Not long to wait now and hopefully I’ll be able to relax a little

Has anyone else had a stomach pain when moving from sitting to standing? It's only on the left side and feels like a sharp pain but quickly disappears. I looked it up online and it suggested it might be ligaments stretching.

I'm almost 12 weeks for reference!

Had my pre-scan blood tests today. Can't wait for next week now. Hope everyone is doing ok! X

@Growingaseed yes I get it too. If I stand too quickly or roll over in bed fast. It’s round ligament pain. I’m not surprised we get it really when you know small a uterus is pre-pregnancy to what it is now.

@Growingaseed likewise intend to get it on my right side when I move suddenly or turn in bed - another joy of pregnancy!

I get it in my ride side if I stand up too quickly or sneeze suddenly!

I had my scan at EPU, and unfortunately it wasn't good news.

A lot of information for me to process today.

During the scan, the sonographer found two embryos in one sac. Which I think means identical twins.

Unfortunately, no heartbeats. Babies are measuring about 7 weeks + 6 days. I am 12 weeks today and completely sure of my dates. 8-9 weeks was when my pregnancy symptoms really eased off, particularly the nausea and fatigue.

They have to bring me back in 10 days for another scan to be sure. But I am sure...

Oh @PhoenixSTL that’s a lot to take in. I’m so sorry it wasn’t good news. What are you going to do about your trip?

Thank you for the update though. Sadly i think i might be in the same position as you, but I’m at least feeling mentally prepared for the scan on Monday.

@frolickinglamb I've come on the holiday in the end. One of my friends was with me during the scan, and all of them know the result. So they're all looking out for me. My son was too excited for me to think about cancelling, and I'm hoping it will prove a good distraction while I wait for things to progress.

It doesn't feel real right now. It feels like it was all a faraway dream. My partner said that this time, it feels a lot more real to him. He thinks because the twins side of it has really thrown him and made it super real. Sad to chat together this evening, as I think we'd have both been terrified and so excited to be having twins.

Oh @PhoenixSTL I really feel for you. It’s so surreal being in the limbo state between pregnant and not. Good to be surrounded by supportive friends, and hopefully your son has fun and can still put a smile on your face in spite of it all. Sending you courage for the coming days.

It’s all so fragile isn’t it.

I’m really showing and I’ve been open with people I see at kids birthday parties etc but until that dating scan I just can’t be at all confident that what I’m saying is even true. Someone today told me they had a miscarriage at 12 weeks.
