Did any mothers not experience morning sickness?

I'm 10 weeks pregnant with my first baby and I've stressed myself out.

I've definitely felt pregnant and had some symptoms but I've had almost no morning sickness. I sometimes get the mildest feeling of nausea when I'm hungry but my appetite has been huge and I've had no food aversions whatsoever.

I've worried myself because I saw some comments on a post that no nausea is a bad sign and often occurs in "unsuccessful pregnancies". Although the midwife at my booking appointment didn't seem phased.

Guess I'm looking for a bit of reassurance. 🙏

I didn't at all with my first pregnancy, then only a day or two of slight nausea with my second. Both great pregnancies and healthy babies! Try not to panic - although I know it's hard. Xx

Snoozlepops · 03/03/2026 19:43

I had absolutely no sickness at all with my first baby. None. Could hardly believe I was really pregnant!

With my second I had the odd queasy feeling, and threw up once after my older child wiped a bogey on me, but other than that nothing.

Canonlythinkofthisone · 03/03/2026 19:43

🤣🤣 meeeeee
Not a single feeling of nausea.
Didn't find out i was pregnant til I was well into my second trimester.
Which then explained why I'd felt so bloody exhausted for weeks, but nope, not a single day of morning sickness. Nada.
Enjoy it 🤣 and congratulations 😍

I didn't have morning sickness with either of my pregnancies. My kids are teens now.

WonderingWanda · 03/03/2026 19:44

Yes it's completely normal to not have nausea.

DrEmilyCrabtree · 03/03/2026 19:44

None at all, over 2 pregnancies. I did suffer a bit with heartburn/ burpiness, but that was it.

Hummingburp · 03/03/2026 19:45

Congratulations 💐
I didn't have any sickness.

ImpatientlyWaitingForSummer · 03/03/2026 19:45

Not a shred of morning sickness with either of mine, and both healthy, full term pregnancies 😊 congratulations and enjoy it - hopefully it will last!

ForWildCyanTiger · 03/03/2026 19:45

I’ve never had a hint of sickness in either pregnancy (and both have been successful) wishing you look, it’s a very anxiety inducing time ❤️

Jfieobabco · 03/03/2026 19:45

5 pregnancies. Zero nausea. I know how lucky I’ve been.

Raera · 03/03/2026 19:45

First pregnancy awful sickness until about 12 weeks.
Second one, not at all, not once.
Both girls in case you wondered!

Barrenfieldoffucks · 03/03/2026 19:46

I didn't, 3 healthy children.

keepingsanity · 03/03/2026 19:46

Just slight nausea before 12 weeks and I had triplets! (Boys!)

VictorianScreenTime · 03/03/2026 19:46

None for me with both my pregnancies. I mean MAYBE a little bit of nausea at times but I often think that was me manifesting nausea as opposed to actual nausea (because, like you, I was a bit worried about its absence!)

But all good in the end- two delightful little women sitting next to me on the couch right now😁
Congrats on your pregnancy!

WaffleParty · 03/03/2026 19:46

I had no pregnancy symptoms at all and I had twins!

I pretended to have a couple of cravings just to keep my husband on his toes.

TheArtfulScreamer1 · 03/03/2026 19:46

I've had a DD and a DS and no morning sickness either time, sometimes felt a bit quesy but probably only noticeable as I was looking for feeling sick if I hadn't of been pregnant it might not have even registered.

Galadali · 03/03/2026 19:46

2 successful pregnancies and no sickness at all.

Clariana · 03/03/2026 19:46

Yep, me too!

Not a hint of sickness for either pregnancy.

Alwaystired23 · 03/03/2026 19:47

I felt sick when I was hungry, but I was never sick during either of my pregnancies. I didn't really feel sick. The labours however were another story.

Fbfbfvfvv · 03/03/2026 19:48

I had bad sickness on my first (girl) and nothing really with my boy.

Ginandbareit · 03/03/2026 19:49

No morning sickness for me either and I was pregnant with twins! (Girls)

IceStationZebra · 03/03/2026 19:52

I had hardly any - just some very mild nausea if I was hungry, and only for a couple of weeks. Never vomited at all.

Celiathebanshee · 03/03/2026 19:53

No, never, and all three are strapping great teens now. Although I made up for it by vomiting all through my labours 😱

TheWibble · 03/03/2026 19:53

I didn't get any morning sickness, at all, with my daughter. Tbh, I had a really smooth pregnancy and really enjoyed the experience. I appreciate that I was very lucky.

Puppymania · 03/03/2026 19:54

No morning sickness, either pregnancy, but terrible heartburn in third trimester!
