I'm 10 weeks pregnant with my first baby and I've stressed myself out.

I've definitely felt pregnant and had some symptoms but I've had almost no morning sickness. I sometimes get the mildest feeling of nausea when I'm hungry but my appetite has been huge and I've had no food aversions whatsoever.

I've worried myself because I saw some comments on a post that no nausea is a bad sign and often occurs in "unsuccessful pregnancies". Although the midwife at my booking appointment didn't seem phased.

Guess I'm looking for a bit of reassurance. 🙏

I had none at all, not even a wave of nausea. A couple of months of not really enjoying eating and only wanting things that were very familiar (much fun on holiday in Indonesia!) but no sickness.

I appreciate I was very lucky in that respect.

Three children and no morning sickness. Two girls and one boy.

One pregnancy and no morning sickness, thankfully 😁 Congratulations, relax and enjoy your nausea free pregnancy 😁

I've just burst into tears reading all these replies! (Definitely hormonal and pregnant! 😂)

Thank you so much! It's mad how quickly something that's been weighing on you can ease just by hearing other people's experiences! I'll count myself very lucky and feel much more relaxed now!

Ahhh, now bursting into tears was definitely my main symptom with both of mine! 🤣

No morning sickness with my only baby, apart from one occasion when I travelled for a wedding to a very humid country and I literally vomited once. Try not to worry.

Same here! The first tiny inkling I had that I might be pregnant was crying at a trailer at the cinema! I’m not typically a crier at all.

Branster · 03/03/2026 21:16

Only been pregnant twice, luckily zero sickness with both and two healthy children.
I don’t know what causes the pregnancy sickness but I was prepared with a stock of ginger biscuits and a special bracelet in case I ever needed them. Although I doubt anything makes a real difference.
OP enjoy your pregnancy and try not to worry too much.

I felt slightly nauseous a handful of times but no morning sickness. Successful pregnancy. I wouldn’t worry about it. Think how awful it would be if you just couldn’t keep anything down!

Homewoes22 · 03/03/2026 21:36

Yes me, all I felt was extreme hunger I could have eaten the carpet lol

wanttokickoffbutcant · 03/03/2026 21:42

None at all and I am quite a pukey person!

Pashazade · 03/03/2026 21:51

Mild bit of nausea, was sick once, didn’t have any major cravings. Went to full term, baby perfect. Be grateful and enjoy!

MeringueButtercream · 03/03/2026 21:57

I didn’t, not once!

readingmakesmehappy · 03/03/2026 21:58

I didn’t either time.

bitterlemonade · 03/03/2026 22:01

I had no sickness in either of my pregnancies. I didn’t think everyone got it.

niki26 · 03/03/2026 22:01

No sickness with my first…. The second I only threw up once …. I had that hungry sickness feeling and asked my husband to help make me some soup…he kept
saying ‘in a minute…. In a minute’ and I think I’d just gone too far with hunger and once he gave me the soup I ate so quickly I was sick …..

tealandteal · 03/03/2026 22:03

No sickness or nausea at all in my first pregnancy, no heartburn, no symptoms at all really and baby is 8 years old now! Second baby horrible sickness all day! Congratulations OP

ithinkilikethislittlelife · 03/03/2026 22:04

I had no pregnancy symptoms at all except extreme coldness. I could get into a piping hot bath and it wouldn’t warm me. That’s how I knew I was pregnant a second time, I simply could not get warm and was bone chillingly cold.

Mummyboy1 · 03/03/2026 22:05

Two pregnancies, first one i was sick 5 times, the earliest at around 10 weeks.
Second pregnancy, no morning sickness at all, I was sick once at 17 weeks.

AnotherJaffaCakePlease · 03/03/2026 22:08

2 babies, no sickness at all!

Parrlorwarrior · 03/03/2026 22:09

Three kids, never had any sickness.

CamillaMcCauley · 03/03/2026 22:10

None with either of mine. I got excited one day as I felt a bit nauseated around 10 weeks with my second, but then I realised it was just caused by taking a multivitamin on an empty stomach.

User0311 · 03/03/2026 22:14

Had 3 pregnancies. Two I had awful sickness until 20ish weeks, 3rd absolutely no sickness what so ever!! It was so strange! Perfectly healthy baby though

onyxtulip · 03/03/2026 22:18

I only ever felt very mildly queasy and certainly never vomited. Infact my appetite probably increased during the first trimester. All was well, 18mth old daughter currently snoring next door 😍 good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and try not too worry too much if you can

Strandlover · 03/03/2026 22:20

None with either. Was very tired with first, sometimes to the point of feeling nauseous with tiredness. But not sick.

1000StrawberryLollies · 03/03/2026 22:21

I occasionally felt slightly queasy in the afternoon, but that was it.
