Welcoming all those who have received their BFPs for a November bubba - congratulations to all!
I felt terrified as not really TTC #2 but thanks to support from the kind ladies of MN I’ve decided to embrace and be excited.

34, baby #2, probably keeping it a surprise(?!) mum to a 7yo DS, hoping only 1 in there as only 3 weeks today and heft symptoms already

They do seem to be making you wait ages for yours, seems unusual but maybe different hospitals do it at different times 🤔
As for the leg cramps, I’d also forgotten it was a thing, have only had it a few times luckily but it’s awful isn’t it 😩 X

Cutelittlepuppy · 15/06/2026 19:06

Mine is 21 + 4 at the start of July but I am having extra scans so had a 17 week scan last week. Thankfully all good 👍

Howeverfar · 15/06/2026 19:14

Mine is 19+5. Really nervous still for it.

I had mine Sunday morning - 8.30am! Nightmare haha Was 19+ 5.

Although bubba not 100% playing ball, laying breech so couldn't get a final spine measurement, have to go back within the next 3 weeks. Apart from that it was a wonderful scan, far more detailed than my son's 7 years ago. I saw their face and lips and nose - it was almost 4D it was so clear! Hope yours goes well 🥰

Ah how lovely that it was nice and clear, even if bub was being a little pickle 😂 Did you find out their gender?

My hospital trust has a r week window to book them between 18-22 weeks. Mine was 22 weeks then the receptionist begrudgingly moved it earlier, just 3 days after my first scan dates me e says further along. It barely seemed worth rearranging things.

Howeverfar · 17/06/2026 10:02

Had mine this morning, after all my spiralling there were no concerns.Didn't want to find out sex. Also baby kept being in the right position, which is good. I told the sonographer I was anxious about it and she was really kind. Hope everyone elses go well too. Amazing news for you @iwasgonnasay

Had our scan yesterday afternoon, it mostly went well but baby did not play ball at all 🙈 constantly in the wrong position and the lady doing the scan was actually quite rough. Lots of really hard pressing and shaking my belly with the wand, was actually quite uncomfortable at times. Even after all the prodding I till ended up having to go for a walk and drink to encourage bub to move into a better position. They got there in the end but found a bit of an anomaly that can just be a variation of normal. But it can also be a marker for some conditions. So we’ve now got to wait for specialist blood results in a couple of weeks. Otherwise though baby is very healthy and definitely agree that the scans have gotten clearer since we had DS. Loved being able to see baby’s little feet and outline of face etc 😍

That sounds a bit stressful. Hope all turns out for the best. <3

I hope it’s all quick and straightforward with the results!

mine didn’t play ball today either, I went and got my whooping cough jab in the middle of it to give him a chance to move!

Howeverfar · 25/06/2026 18:58

How are we all feeling? I had a bit of a panic earlier when lil one didn't move until about 2pm, been kicking a lot since so I figure bubba was probably asleep but I was on verge of going to triage before the kicks started.

Cutelittlepuppy · 27/06/2026 21:44

I struggled with the heat this week. I only really feel the movements if I am relaxing so not too worried if I don't feel that for a bit. Are you tracking the movements if you feel them reliably? Figuring out their patterns often helps you know when it is an issue or not

Have been just so so hot and sweaty all week 🙈 I’ve got an anterior placenta, so kind of expect to not feel movements all the time yet.
These bubs are really good at making us worry though aren’t they lol. Doesn’t always work, but sometimes a really cold drink gets me a few wiggles Xx

CrazyKJ · 28/06/2026 11:08

On a really positive note, we got our results back earlier than expected. Baby girl has an extremely low chance of any of the conditions they were checking for. So the small heart defect they found is very likely just a random occurrence. Thankfully it’s also unlikely to cause her any issues, so we can relax a little now 😊

Hello! Wondering when people consistently started feeling movements? I’m 19+2 and no real consistency or pattern yet - occasional flutter when relaxed. Not sure if I should be worried!

I'm 19/20 weeks (I'm confused about my dates!) And I'm not really feeling much. The odd gentle kick but nothing much. Got my 20 week scan on Thursday so hopefully that will provide some reassurance!

Aah thanks. Glad it’s not just me! My scan isn’t till next weds and it feels like a lifetime away. Have to survive a weekend at the in laws before then 🤦🏻‍♀️

I'm 21 weeks and I feel them sometimes but nothing consistently. I think this is normal
