Welcoming all those who have received their BFPs for a November bubba - congratulations to all!
I felt terrified as not really TTC #2 but thanks to support from the kind ladies of MN I’ve decided to embrace and be excited.

34, baby #2, probably keeping it a surprise(?!) mum to a 7yo DS, hoping only 1 in there as only 3 weeks today and heft symptoms already

Hi @iwasgonnasay, I’ll tentatively join as got my positive on Tuesday. Due date would be around 5th November. Due to 2 previous losses we’re expecting the worst to be honest. Trying to be positive though, as it’s a very much wanted baby #2.
Only very mild queasiness so far, completely different to all my other pregnancies. So hanging onto that being a good sign 🤞

Congrats to everyone else with their positives this month! 🥰

wonderlust07 · 27/02/2026 08:45

Hi @CrazyKJ - I was going to message you to see how you were getting on.

Also tentatively joining - my first vf positive was last Tuesday. My lines are darker but not dye stealers so i'm also a little nervous. My due date would be 3rd November - I think!

I have had a headache for 2 days, and sore boobs. My Oura stats are all over the place too.

I had a MMC back in November. This would be baby #2 also, our first is 22 months.

CrazyKJ · 27/02/2026 08:51

Aw Hi @wonderlust07, nice to see you moving over too 😊 The anxiety is awful isn’t Xx

ChickenBananaBanana · 27/02/2026 12:19

I was convinced I would want to know the sex of #2 after keeping #1 a surprise but at the moment I don't think so
Anyone else?

Congratulations to you all. This will be baby #3 for me and is more than a bit of a shock! I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and a third terrifies me! Haha. But equally so excited for what is to come! My EDD is 5th November.

Taysonic · 27/02/2026 19:07

Hi all. Feel a bit nervous saying hello as in all honesty I don't expect to be here for long... Which is a very bleak (but honest!) hello.

Just found out I'm pregnant after three previous losses last year. All between 5 and 7 weeks so all relatively early. I've just started on progesterone in the hope this may help but... We'll see. Finding it very hard to be optimistic.

Much wanted and longed for 2nd child for me, and first for my partner. I have a 9yr old DS with ex-H.

EDD from LMP would put me at 6th Nov I think.

OchreCardigan · 28/02/2026 23:03

Hello 👋 I'd like to tentatively join too. This is my first, and I got my first vf positive on Wednesday. The line has been progressing since, which is reassuring. I think I'd be due the first week of November if it all goes well.

swizzlemango · 28/02/2026 23:54

Hi everyone. I’m hopefully going to be welcoming baby #3 in November too. Think my due date is somewhere in first week of November like 3rd or 5th. But last two pregnancies my dates were pushed back a few days at booking scan.

Elena88 · 01/03/2026 06:38

Hi 👋 Congratulations to all I am due around 3rd November (Baby n2). So far I have got cramping and sore boobs. Counting down for nausea to kick in 😊

iwasgonnasay · 01/03/2026 19:45

Ladies expecting #2 onwards, do you have more cramping / nausea / bloating this time? I’m already bloated to the point im conscious how my belly looks and belly very crampy & uncomfortable
Very different to #1!

Elena88 · 01/03/2026 20:40

Baby #n2 fair amount of cramping …manage to hide my 1 pregnancy until half way through with little issue.. but I am super bloated too today 😊

iwasgonnasay · 01/03/2026 21:34

@Elena88 thanks that’s reassuring on the cramps as never had with number 1 and being only 4 weeks I was getting anxious it was bad sign

I have very subtle nausea which always come after the prenatals, but in my last pregnancy really kick in from week 6. Are you guys booking private viability scan for reassurance that things look okay? I will be doing it.
I have also all NHS appointments in the calendar for midwife bloods /& 12week scans..

@iwasgonnasay I think we tend to forget how hard pregnancy was 😊

Yes I’ve definitely had much more cramping, bloating in subsequent pregnancies although so far (touch wood!!) I’ve had much milder sickness/nausea in this pregnancy.

OchreCardigan · 02/03/2026 06:33

I have sore boobs and on and off cramping. It's quite strong actually, which is why for the first half of last week I thought it was actually my period coming on! @Elena88 when are you planning to have your early scan? I am thinking to wait until 8 weeks, as I've read you're more likely to see something by then. But I'm not sure. Have you already referred yourself to your chosen hospital, too?

CGR12 · 02/03/2026 06:43

Lower back pain, some cramping and a touch of nausea so far. Pretty similar to my previous pregnancies. Hope everyone is okay.

Elena88 · 02/03/2026 08:39

@OchreCardigan my cramps are also stronger that I remember. Yep I self referred to a maternity hospital and few days later the set up all the appointments. One at the end March for bloods/ midwife and 12weeek scan for 20th April. I will be doing privately the viability scan about week few days pass 6 weeks same as in my previous ( so end of nex week likely) I am very regular/ and very sure on ovulation dates.

i also ordered pregnancy batch for the underground

Taysonic · 02/03/2026 10:30

Hi all. As I've had previous recurrent losses (3 last year) I've been prescribed progesterone in this pregnancy. I started taking it on Friday and boy can I feel the impact. I was absolutely exhausted yesterday - when I chatGPT'd expected symptoms of taking additional progesterone, it's response was 'some women describe it as taking a sleeping tablet they didn't ask for' and that's exactly how it feels.

I'm 4+3 today and will be holding off doing midwifery referral until further along (just in case). I am likely to be offered NHS reassurance scans so need to contact EPAU at some point to get those booked in...

Feeling very nervous and cautious.

iwasgonnasay · 02/03/2026 11:23

Morning all,

Oddly good to hear symptoms are pretty similar all round. My AF is due tomorrow so i'll only be 4 weeks then and i look and feel more pregnant now than i did at 4 or 5 months with the first, so they do really mean every pregnancy is different! If I hadn't have tested on Thursday with these cramps i'd be convinced it was all in my head an AF would be here tomorrow as expected.

I have done a self referral as seemed easier - not planning early scans though, will just wait for the standard 12 weeks.

@Taysonic completely understandable - hoping you are able to rest and relax to take it in and allow yourself time to adjust.

Hi @Taysonic 😊 you’re absolutely right about the progesterone. I was put on it before my second loss last year and was just so tired! I’m 4+4 today so similar dates and also holding off on midwife referral, reassuring to know I’m not the only one feeling that way.
Fingers crossed these ones stick! 🤞 X

StrawberryPi · 02/03/2026 11:53

4+2 today here after a missed miscarriage last year, I'm feeling 50/50 thrilled and anxious/terrified. I think aiming for cautious optimism..... I'm hoping the EPU will let me have an early reassurance scan, but if not I think I'll book something privately at 7 weeks.

I'm feeling super nauseous all day, though I haven't had any vomiting yet. And just generally woozy and knackered.

Keeping my fingers, toes, and everything else crossed for you all xx

Sj2505 · 02/03/2026 18:14

Hi all, I’d also like to cautiously join ☺️ I’m 4w5d today. Terrified of a chemical/missed miscarriage as I had a very drawn out, slow hCG regression with a missed miscarriage in 2023. I have DS (10), my partner has DS (17), DS (12). This is our only together 🥰
Currently have on/off nausea, especially in the evening. Very bloated, slightly crampy, sore boobs and I’m so tired!
I’m definitely planning on doing a private scan, going to try hold out for 8 weeks!

Still don’t have my 2-3weeks on digital though (or didn’t on Saturday anyway, I would have been 4+3!)

Hoping to stick around with you all 🤞🏼
