Just back from my GP check up - all looking good. I’ve really bad back pain the last few days and he reckons I might have pulled something. Recommended exercises and a birthing ball

Urgh people have no filter when you are pregnant! Like you get to choose when he comes 🙄
Hope your midwife appointment went well. You’re also allowed to be stroppy going past your due date is frustrating and exhausting. I remember the feeling with my last pregnancy. Be as stroppy as you want 😉 xx

I will be 39 weeks so I am ok with it, better to be safer than sorry

I was booked in for thursday too, but after being measured my bump has dropped loads so they have brought me in today to be induced. Had the pessery in now just a waiting game. I had another sweep today aswell been no change since the first sweep so they just wasn't working. Xxx

Sorry been in the newborn bubble. The swab is the worse. At least cervix closed. Did it settle down after? Fingers crossed 🤞🏾

@IForgotTheApricotJamdid the sweep work? Or still waiting. I hope that was your plug going for you! How the sweep go today if you had it?

How is everyone getting on with colostrum harvesting? We have managed to get some drops in 3 sittings - started last night. This is all we have got (see pic). Anyone got any tips to get more?? I know that it isn’t possible for all to get it so feel grateful that we can even get these drops - just curious to see if anyone has found anything has helped apart from massaging area and warm compress?

I’ve managed to get the below on day 3 of following this video https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1AJTtMKLt2/?mibextid=wwXIfr & below instructions. First two days I didn’t get much, maybe half a syringe combined.
I did it first thing in the morning and was nice and relaxed 🙂

@PinkSprinkleFairy well done! Thanks for the video, I had basically the same written instructions from my health board but I definitely wasn’t doing it as she was in the video so that’s helpful.

@peps2917 I’m also not getting a lot.. trying not to feel disheartened by it because that won’t help 😅 I think my problem is I’m not relaxed enough/trying to collect downstairs hoping no deliveries arrive and interrupt me 😅😂

Our gorgeous boy arrived today weighing a massive 10 pound!! He is absolutely gorgeous and a little dream 😍 labour was hard but worth every ounce xxxx

Definitely gone! Not really having pains. Waiting on the strep b test. They were talking about sending me home but have now said I can just stay as was due to be induced tomorrow anyway
