Other thread is full already! Ive to head out but feel free to tag others, if not I can do it when back

Just back from my GP check up - all looking good. I’ve really bad back pain the last few days and he reckons I might have pulled something. Recommended exercises and a birthing ball

We got the go ahead to start from 17 weeks. She is hit and miss - loves yogurts, porridge and sweet potato. Hard to get veg into her - she had a full blown row with me today when I was trying to give her carrots for dinner - shouting at me like a teenager 😂😂😂

The dog is loving her eating though, this was tonight when she was having her banana wafer 😂

Yea it’s messier but once you get use to it then it’s fine. The other downside is the nappies 😫😂

So how is everyone getting on generally?

We hit 5 months last week but she was poorly for it. She had a viral infection so was on antibiotics. But apart from that she has been great, sleeping well and eating well.

We started in baby swim classes and she loves it, only half hour a week but it wipes her out.

Sorted out my maternity leave with work and back in November 😫

Edited

Don’t give me this veg 😅🤣 I’m pretty lucky Atlas loves veg minus broccoli 🥦 he had his first carvery today loved a roast potato.

our dog is also loving weaning and all the food he’s dropping! How cute is that photo!

Nora is 6 month old today and has zero interest in food whatsoever 😅 plenty of interest in cups of tea and my water bottle though.

pretty sure my older two had decided to introduce solids by 5 / 5.5 months by nabbing it off of your plate but Nora isn’t having any of it. Going to reassess and take it as it comes but just keep carrying on what we’re doing. She’ll decide to nab food off me when she’s ready… probably.

Confusedmermaid1 · 19/06/2026 23:23

Robyn was 5 months old this week and I can’t believe how quickly the time is flying! We haven’t started any kind of weaning yet but I think she will be really keen for food when we start, she loves watching us eat 😂

She has 2 teeth and more on the way, RIP my nipples because she is a biter 😭 it’s the first time since the newborn days of barely being able to pee without her on the boob that I’ve wanted to stop because it hurts so bad!

Other than that she’s just growing up so quickly, she’s already getting into mischief army crawling around the place.. she’s going to keep me on my toes for sure. Everything goes straight in her mouth 🙈

So sad to read Moosey’s story. I think of her often and I really hope she gets her
much deserved happy ending!

WanderWalker · 23/06/2026 12:49

For some reason I’ve stopped getting notifications from the chat so I’ve missed all this.

I often think of moosey and baby Ava. I’ve just read the FB post 😔 Sending all the positive vibes and baby dust her way.

We’ve just hit the 6 month mark and about to start weaning this week. I can’t believe where the time has gone.

I hope everyone is well and coping okay in the heat! X

Ahhahha I literally googled whether this is normal yesterday. She's been screeching for weeks now. Took a small break to grow two teeth but is now back at it 🫣

Feel like these babies just want to grow up quicker. Atlas is the same. He just starting to pull himself up on stuff but then just lets go thinking he can balance 😩 just wants to keep up with his big brothers

WanderWalker · 09/08/2026 08:26

@Thegirlhasnamechanged @Sunshinemoom wow!! That is early.

I think I have one of the oldest babies in the group and we still have a gummy baby and she’s not long been rolling over. Zero sign of any crawling either 🤣

@WanderWalkerdont wish to away. I miss the potato days. As I now have to have eyes in the back of my head as he’s everywhere 🙈 which is hard when 15 weeks pregnant and had to have another stitch put back in!

Callie was 7 months yesterday and is the same, can roll onto her sides but is still trying to master rolling onto her tummy. If I put her on her tummy then she can roll back.

No teeth either, I can see them in her gums but not near coming through.

Yeah overall ok. Tired but I just nap when Atlas naps! He had a reaction to peanut butter yesterday, so now been referred to allergy team for testing.

thankfully no HG this time. Just got to take it easy with the stitch

Awww look at her sitting up! Iris is just 6 months and can roll both ways, has two teeth but no sign of sitting up. We haven't started weaning because she just folds in two in the high chair 😆 goes to show how different they all are!
