IVF Pregnancy Club- spring/summer 2026

Wanted to start a thread for anyone expecting after IVF and due next spring/summer

I am finding it quite daunting after infertility for 4 years and then a round of IVF to now be FINALLY expecting in June 2026, can hopefully chat with anyone else in the same boat

Baby Callie arrived at 2.30 pm today weighing 7lb 4oz

Have they given you any indication of the plan?

Oh, how wonderful! How gorgeous is she?! That's a great weight too.

I am on anti biotics 4 at least 7 more days

Have lotsa upcoming appts

@worldwidetravel2017 that’s positive that they are taking good care of you and for now full on labour is being held off—I can’t remember, how far along are you? I hope you do get a little respite at home, I can imagine sleep is difficult rn but especially in hospital.

@dubkitten she is absolutely perfect, it’s just so surreal something (someone!) so whole can be growing inside of us! Congratulations and welcome baby Callie! Hope labour went smoothly and you’re recovering well.

I’ll post the details when I got home but waters broke at 3.45am on Wednesday and had her at 2.30 Thursday so was a long process!

im feeling good, a little sore but she has been very good soon far.

Fingers crossed you do, you be able to relax much more in your own space

It must be wonderful to be back home - nothing like being in your own space! Is it really snowy with you, or are you able to venture out? Though I suppose snuggling down while it's cold outside could be very nice too!

I’m based in Dublin so no snow here. I’m gonna stay on for a few days and rest up. My siblings and their families are coming over today to meet her.
