Hi, I am nervous even making this thread, like it is too soon to be on the pregnancy chat, but I am not telling anyone in real life, so I feel like it would be nice to have somewhere to talk about things with anyone who would like to join me 🙂.

We started ttc this baby in September 2022, I had a mmc in December 2022 then another in August 2023, then for the past 2 years we have been ttc without success, but I just got my positive test on Wednesday!
I can't believe it, I am obviously very happy and grateful but also extremely anxious.

I’m sorry about your previous losses @Babydust25 It has been crossing my mind recently how many times I can keep doing this with the same outcome. Such great news you had your daughter though. What plan were you on with her? I initially felt a bit better knowing I was trying a new protocol this time round, but as I don’t have a proper diagnosis of APS I’m not feeling confident it will work

Babydust25 · 20/09/2025 22:08

@Figtree11 with my successful pregnancy I started aspirin at positive test, hydroxychloroquine (as I found I had an autoimmune condition and could affect baby's heart) and I also had surgery prior because I had a slight womb abnormality. So not sure if it was all of things or one thing!
It's hard when you dont have proper diagnosis, but hopefully the things you're doing this time will help.

Figtree11 · 21/09/2025 12:02

@Babydust25 ahh interesting - I’m on aspirin now & always read about how it can help people. Sounds like you’ve got a good protocol going to help this pregnancy be successful too. Yeah I think if I had a diagnosis I’d feel more confident. Just got to hope something I’m doing will work

Ladyinpink1 · 22/09/2025 05:26

@Willagorilla I still feel the same, the nausea never came back and I have no symptoms except my breasts are slightly sore... but that could be from the progestrone, i'm now extremely nervous for my scan tomorrow. Did your sickness come back? x

@Figtree11 Hey! Lovely to see your name. How are you? x

@Ladyinpink1 oh good luck today with the scan! What time is it? I hope it goes perfectly and you see a healthy heartbeat x
I actually violently came down with a stomach bug a few hours after that last message so I was really sick most of Saturday. Woke up today feeling more human but still very tired but of course I can't tell now if anything I'm feeling is pregnancy or bug related. My boobs don't feel sore at all today. I caved and did a test yesterday which was still positive but of course I know it takes time for levels to drop anyway. Let us know how the scan goes, I'll be thinking of you

Willagorilla · 22/09/2025 08:33

@Ladyinpink1 sorry, I just reread your message, the scan is tomorrow not today - either way good luck and let us know x

CloudyIvy55 · 22/09/2025 09:15

@Ladyinpink1 I'm 6 weeks 3 days today and haven't has any nausea... which is worrying me. I'm continuing to have mild but noticeable cramps , which freak me out every time! Only slightly sore boobs. My scan is Thursday and I don't feel good about it.

Wishing you lots of luck for tomorrow, let us know how you get on x

HollyGolightly4 · 22/09/2025 17:21

Sending you all positive thoughts 💕

Ladyinpink1 · 22/09/2025 17:35

Thank you so much for the messages, I was convinced it was bad news, but the nausea is back! It's actually a bit worse now. It's crazy because when I say it dissapeared all weekend, it didn't just get less, all my symptoms vanished for 3 full days...I have never experienced that then restarting again.
Hopefully all my worrying is helpful to someone else if they have the same thing happen on this thread.

Sorry about the bug @Willagorilla , that must be so awful when pregnant and there isnt much you can take. How are you feeling now? My scan is tomorrow at 2:40 x

@CloudyIvy55 Thank you so much. My nausea only started at about 7/7.5 Weeks in a previous pregnancy and it was a successful one. I also know ladies who have had no nausea at all in a successful pregnancy, but I get it, it's horrible at this stage - you are desperate for reasurrance aren't you. The Cramping is definitely a good sign and sore breasts too... you have nice high levels of hormones. Probably the weirdest hope for me to send someone, but I hope you get some nausea or more symptoms very soon 😂 x

@Ladyinpink1glad the nausea is back as horrible as it is, it can become more worrying if you don't have symptoms.

I'm still only 4 weeks AF was due tomorrow. Feel very behind everyone else even though it's only a few weeks 😂 Symptoms are kicking in though the exhaustion and nausea have hit me like bricks today.

HollyGolightly4 · 22/09/2025 18:13

I haven't felt nauseous but @NatalieSF the exhaustion!! Do you just feel too tired to do anything?!

NatalieSF · 22/09/2025 18:32

@HollyGolightly4i have spent the whole day on the couch today. I have a toddler and an under active thyroid so I'm usually always tired anyway but this is a whole new level 😴

Babydust25 · 22/09/2025 19:29

Oh good luck to everyone with a scan this week! I hope its all positive news.

I am feeling very exhausted, and it just comes out of nowhere suddenly I need to sleep, not ideal with work/child. Also having some mild cramping and sharpish pains, feels a bit like pulling/stretching.

HollyGolightly4 · 22/09/2025 20:08

Oh bless you @NatalieSF that sounds hard work! I'm lucky in that respect, I can relax after work. I have just had a massive cry because my husband was (reasonably)annoyed at me when I did something stupid.

Willagorilla · 23/09/2025 07:56

@Ladyinpink1 oh I'm so glad your symptoms returned. Good luck today and enjoy the scan. The bug was pretty horrific and I am still absolutely exhausted and drained. Don't know now if anything I'm feeling is pregnancy related or sickness related. Had terrible insomnia last night and restless legs, which I know are symptoms but my boobs are still more normal feeling.
My scan is actually Oct 30 I'll be 12 weeks exactly. 6weeks 5 today so counting down the days. I'll be thinking of you today, fingers crossed and baby dust x

Figtree11 · 23/09/2025 10:22

@Ladyinpink1 thinking of you today, hope you get the good news you deserve

Hopingrae · 23/09/2025 10:50

Hi ladies, please could I join you? I'm 7+5 weeks today. This pregnancy will be DC3 if successful. I've had 3 previous losses, 1 before DC1 and 2 before DC2. I'm 41. We've got a private scan on Thursday and I'm trying to live by the mantra "maybe everything will be OK". It works some of the time! Enough experience to know I have no control over the outcome but trying to have a bit of positivity for my own sanity. Would be lovely to share the journey with ladies who get it!

Babydust25 · 23/09/2025 16:34

@Ladyinpink1 hope everything went perfectly today.

@Hopingrae welcome! I hope your scan goes well Thursday. I am also trying to love by that mantra!

Ladyinpink1 · 23/09/2025 18:25

Had my scan, seen the heartbeat, and measuring 8w+2d (i am 7w+6), so that was good and I got 2 scan pictures to take home.
I don't know what caused the nausea to vanish but as long as it's back and stays back then I feel better. Thank you for caring ladies, that was kind of you all and helped when i was so worried. How is everyone else? x

@Willagorilla Thank you. There is so much going about now with it getting closer to winter, hopefully this is you had your winter illness now though and you manage to avoid any others x

@Figtree11 Thank you. How are you doing? 2025 is the year remember 😊 xx

@Hopingrae welcome, and congratulations. I'm sure Thursday can't come soon enough x

HollyGolightly4 · 23/09/2025 19:05

Congratulations @Ladyinpink1 ! That's great news.

CloudyIvy55 · 23/09/2025 19:25

@Ladyinpink1I'm so pleased, I've been wondering how you got on!

My scan is on Thursday and I'm so worried! There's no real reason to worry but that isn't stopping me 🤦‍♀️😂

Thanks ladies :) @Ladyinpink1 so lovely to hear you had a successful scan, that must have been such a relief for you.
My nausea has really ramped up over the last couple of days, feeling quite rough. Will be glad to get the scan out the way tomorrow, but also really getting the dreads about it.
@CloudyIvy55 good luck with your scan tomorrow too.

Ladyinpink1 · 24/09/2025 17:37

@CloudyIvy55 @Hopingrae
Hope you are both doing ok and that everything went ok with your scans x
