I haven’t but I believe it can be to do with your cervix if it’s after sex

@Dejavu2025 in my last pregnancy I spotted for a few days after sex. I can’t say it was gushing but it was enough to make me worry so we booked a private scan and everything was fine. Sex can irritate the cervix and dislodge blood (which would make sense if there was a bit left from your haematoma) so I’m sure baby will be absolutely fine 🤍

Hey @Dejavu2025ive been told my hematoma is gone now at my last scan but i did continue to spot every time we slept together i was quite concerned prior to my last epu scan (on thurs) but all was fine and baby was wriggling about? I was told my cervix is probably getting irritated or the last of rhe hematoma has come away, it becomes so stressful when you arent sure but hopefully they can confirm good news for you x

Just an update, scan went really well. Baby wriggling around and everything as it should. They are prescribing me with progesterone pessaries to further support the pregnancy. Has anyone had them before ?

Yeah I have been on them full pregnancy and before due to ivf 😊

Yes I’ve also been put on progesterone due to unexplained brown spotting. There a bit of a pain but if they can help then I’ll keep going.

sorry I’ve been ducking in and out, some days I just need to step away from all the pregnancy stuff when I’m getting too anxious. We have our 12 week scan this week so hoping that goes well and eased the anxiety a bit xx

I actually haven't had sex since finding out I'm pregnant, I don't know why I'm so anxious about it because I did with the first but I seem to have a brick wall in my mind with this one 😬 hubby being very gracious about it!

@Casper94me and DH haven’t either! Usually I’m tired in the evening and DH has been too anxious. We’ve both just agreed to not stress about it and we’ll give it a go if we’re feeling more confident after the 12 scan. DH hasn’t got the highest libido for a man anyway so he’s not that bothered but I wouldn’t say no if I feel a bit less bloated and windy in the near future

No real reason other than Im so tired and just not really in the mood! Hoping I’ll feel a bit better during second trimester. DH has been very understanding which is nice!

@Orangelover @Mushroo glad I'm not the only one! :) I think everything just feels so touch and go in the first trimester doesn't it, our wedding anniversary is middle of September so I'm gonna try and psych myself up by then 🤣

I have a private scan and NIPT today! Feeling a bit nervous! Really hoping it all goes well and then we might start telling people!

On another note, I’ve woken up with achey hips. Surely it’s too early?!

I’ll be bowing out. I wish you all the best. My 10 week ultrasound showed my little miracle bean had died a few weeks after the IVF clinic signed us off at just under 7wks.

@Mummysparrow it went well! I was surprised at how much has happened since my last scan 3 weeks ago, we could see kicks which was amazing.

The NIPT was fine, she struggled to draw the blood as I have terrible veins, but we should get the results on Monday and we’ve opted to find out the sex too!

Hows everyone today ?

I’ve got my 12 week scan on Sunday and starting to get nervous. Anyone else got theirs coming up?

I have mine next Monday and getting nervous but as long as everything is ok i will finally be able to tell work

My back is killing me but that could also be due to work. How are you @worldwidetravel2017

Got to wait until Wednesday for me, getting impatient now. I’ll be 13+3 if my private scan at 8 weeks is correct
Feeling quite good, even made it to bootcamp at the gym yesterday! But then needed a 2 hour nap
