Aawww I’m glad you are excited about it! I am pretty sure I am having my 4th girl! I’m starting to get excited now that it’s getting closer! My youngest can’t wait to be a big sister! The whole pregnancy has gone way too quickly! 😢😢 Yes, you can be the only princess in the house! I say to my husband that he’s the only king of our house! He’s totally outnumbered!! 😂😂 x

BlondeAutumnGirl · 04/04/2026 14:47

Poor bloke bet he loves it though haha. I am definitely getting close to being over being pregnant! I've been way more impatirnt since my friend had her baby, I want mine now too! Any birth tips seeing as you're a pro now?

BabyBorn · 04/04/2026 19:02

Oh god I love being pregnant! So much! My husband is well used to it now! He’s got 3 sister too! 😂😂
Just try and stay as active as possible in labour. If you are lying down or having an epidural it won’t get you in the best position to deliver. Have a look at the circuit mile on google to try and encourage baby into the correct position. I’m also going to download the hypno birthing book by Siobhan Miller x

BlondeAutumnGirl · 04/04/2026 19:13

Thanks! Yes I have had that book recommended to me too. I haven't hated it, just bored of feeling heqvy and tired and dragging my arse to work every day 🤣

BabyBorn · 25/04/2026 21:53

Sorry I didnt reply to this @BlondeAutumnGirl how are you feeling now? Have you ladies had any niggles or any news yet? Xx

No worries! How are you? I am currently battling insomnia more nights than not. Can't get comfy/can't drop off/feel like my skin is crawling - I am so tired. I'll be 36 weeks on Monday so hopefully not long to go. I got my Hypnobirthing book and pregnancy ball today so will be experimenting with those :)

BabyBorn · 26/04/2026 02:41

Hi @BlondeAutumnGirl same here! Hence a 2.30 post! 😬😬😬 it is normal though. It’s a clever way of our bodies getting us used to being up in the night. My hips hurt a lot with all this side lying and my bump is huge. I’m 39 weeks now. I do absolutely love being pregnant and have been quite emotional for a few weeks coming to terms with the fact this might be my very last pregnancy. 😭😭😭 All very bitter sweet. Have you started using Raspberry tea leaf or anything yet? Stated mine a good few weeks ago and having 3 cups a day now. I’ve been listening to my hypnobirthing podcast too. All very motivating but hoping I can actually put it into practice at the time!

How are you getting on @GoldIvyyou are due any day now aren’t you? Xx

BlondeAutumnGirl · 26/04/2026 07:22

@BabyBornit's terrible isn't it! I am so tired and still have 3 weeks to go at work although to be fair, I'm WfH 2 days a week as the commute was getting a bit much. Aww don't be sad, you get the lovely baby at the end of the road now. This is likely my only pregnancy so I have absolutely embraced it and gone with the flow and actually I can't complain, it's just getting tough now towards the end.

GoldIvy · 26/04/2026 17:36

@BabyBorn @BlondeAutumnGirl hello lovely ladies! My due date was yesterday but no signs of little one yet! Although today I have been absolutely shattered and not wanting to do a thing other than sit or lie down, and burst into tears for no reason whatsoever earlier, whereas the last few weeks I’ve been super active so not sure if this might be a sign that’s her arrival is imminent ☺️☺️☺️ I’m on raspberry leaf tea, dates, moving on the yoga ball etc but also trusting that she’ll come when she’s ready!

Totally understanding you feeling funny about it being your last pregnancy, I’ve had moments of feeling like I’m really going to miss her being in my tummy but also just so excited to meet the little one! Big hugs @BabyBorn

@BlondeAutumnGirl bet you can’t wait to finish work! Xx

BlondeAutumnGirl · 28/04/2026 09:30

@GoldIvyI am also super tearful at the drop of a hat recently! Work is incredibly stressful at the moment which isn't helping so yes I absolutely cannot wait until I am finished!

What snacks is everyone packing for their Hospital bag?? I am so intrigued by this lol.

BabyBorn · 28/04/2026 20:28

Hi ladies! @GoldIvy@BlondeAutumnGirl hope you are both feeling good. Oh wow @GoldIvycan’t be too luck longer now then! If your body is telling you to sleep or rest then do it! Your hormones are going to start changing from now too the closer you are to your due date and it’s totally natural to be having emotional wobbles. I usually get extremely moody the week before I give birth but it hasn’t happened yet and I’ve got 5 days left. So anything goes and every person and pregnancy is different. I’m getting tired now but still doing weekly pregnancy yoga and trying to keep busy. Really looking forward to hearing your news!

@BlondeAutumnGirl I bet you can’t wait then to leave work behind for a while! You will completely forget about it once you’ve finished! That’s good that you’ve had a great pregnancy and you’ve embraced it. I don’t think I’m done yet! Maybe one more if this one isn’t too much hard work. I think that will be it then if I’m lucky enough to get pregnant again. If not, im so lucky to have the wonderful children I have.

I am hoping to have a home birth so haven’t packed snacks for hospital, although I have packed a hospital bag in case! Maybe I need to sort that out! 🥴 What snacks have you packed? X

BlondeAutumnGirl · 28/04/2026 20:56

@BabyBornI haven't packed any snacks either and my Hospital bag is almost but not quite ready.

I had a growth scan this evening - baby boy is measuring at 6lbs 3oz and I still have 4 weeks until my due date!

I need to get on with my Hyonobirthing book and get some movement in on my pregnancy ball. I always start out with excellent intentions and then never get round to any of it!

What do you need to do to get ready for a home birth?

BabyBorn · 30/04/2026 01:34

Hiya! Sorry about the delay! I’ve been having all my final appointments! Had a pregnancy massage on Monday which was lovely, Tuesday I had my last session of acupuncture before the baby comes and yesterday i had my nails and toes done!

Yes I have been doing things with the best intentions too but some days don’t get around to it! I’ve been doing weekly pregnancy yoga since November and have my last session tomorrow evening!

Aawwww bet it was nice seeing him again even if he was squashed right up! I had a growth scan last week and my baby was estimated to be 9lb 1!! Scared!

For a home birth I’ve got a birthing pool up which the hospital provide. Got my diffuser with essential oils. Have a huge hosepipe on a real to fill it up, Spotify playlist, LED candles etc. I will only be allowed gas and air. Looking forward to it and hoping it goes to plan but also terrified. How are you feeling about your births @BlondeAutumnGirl@GoldIvy

Hope you have some lovely news soon @GoldIvy and have everything crossed for a smooth delivery for you! X

BlondeAutumnGirl · 30/04/2026 07:42

@BabyBorn sounds like you're all ready! I'm jealous of your manicure! I've had my hair and pedicure done but advised not to have nails done because of the oxygen monitor thingy.

I won't be 37 weeks until Monday but think I may have started losing my mucus plug yesterday so a little anxious. I have a Midwife appointment at 8:30 this morning though so will see what's up - there were no signs at my scan of an imminent arrival. I'm WfH today so going to make sure my bag is fully packed and ready to go.

So excited for all of us ❤️

BabyBorn · 15/05/2026 02:28

Hi ladies! Any news yet @GoldIvy@BlondeAutumnGirl ?

Our little girl was born on the 8th of May after a 1hr 13 minute labour at home in the birthing pool! She weighed a perfect 8lb 12!

Cant wait to hear your news ladies! 💕 x

BlondeAutumnGirl · 15/05/2026 06:53

@BabyBornoh congratulations that's fantastic news and well done you! Amazing labour!

Nothing from me yet. 38 +3 today. Got sent to hospital last Saturday for blood tests as horribly itchy - suspected ICP. Results were sligjtly raised so have to go back this Saturday for repeat tests but otherwise I'm fine, just heavy, achey and tired.

Watch this space! Xx

GoldIvy · 15/05/2026 08:49

@BabyBorn aww so happy for you lovely! That’s incredible!! What an amazing birth!

Our little girl was born on 5th May at 1.20am after being in hospital for 3 nights, it was a bit of a rollercoaster! But she got here safely which is all that matters - I had forceps and an episiotomy and an epidural (thank goodness) but got there in the end so that’s good!

I’m now in the thick of sleepless nights hehe! She’s cluster feeding at the moment! How are you getting on?

So weird you messaged as I was thinking of writing in the middle of the night last night when I was feeding!

Big hugs and love x

BlondeAutumnGirl · 15/05/2026 08:54

@GoldIvycongratulation! And well done for getting through it, I bet you did brilliantly x

GoldIvy · 15/05/2026 12:07

Thank you @BlondeAutumnGirl !!! Keep us posted on your little one’s arrival and wishing you all the best for the birth! Xx

Emilymombite · 15/05/2026 13:49

5w with nothing is genuinely normal — most people don't feel much until 6-7w when hCG actually peaks. I had basically nothing until week 7 and then it landed like a lorry. While you wait: easy folate wins are leafy greens, lentils, oranges, fortified cereal. If you've ever had anaemia, mention it at booking so they check iron levels early. Try not to read into symptoms (or lack of them) — bodies just do this differently.

DefiantRabbit9 · 15/05/2026 15:58

It can happen. I had no symptoms until 8 weeks. The only reason I even found out I was pregnant was I thought my body 'looked pregnant'.

BabyBorn · 16/05/2026 00:23

Aawwww congratulations @GoldIvy what did you call her? That’s impressive that they didn’t decide to give you a section!!! The NHS’s favourite way to get babies into the world these days! 🥴🥴😂 So glad you managed to have her naturally even if you diid require assistance! I had the same procedure with my first daughter too! Hope you are enjoying the newborn bubble that you are in! Lots of love to you and your little one.

Looking forward to hearing lovely news from you too @BlondeAutumnGirl and all the best for the birth xx
