Anyone else growing insanely long thick hairs in strange places? My nipples now look like they have eyelashes.

What pain/aches if any are people getting in their womb area? Does anyone else get dull period cramp pains now and again ?

Sorry to hear you’re worried. It would be worth getting in touch with your midwife / gp / 111 to see if they can arrange a reassurance scan for you. They did that for me when I was bleeding in my last pregnancy.

Yeah I’m the same. I have small black hairs up my belly as well lol, must be the hormones

Last night a weird rogue neck hair tried to garrotte me in my sleep! Pregnancy is no joke!

I'm ok. Bit more tired. Huge belly, very hard to hide at a friend's birthday this weekend, I managed I think. Also got my dating scan and bloods next Tuesday which is exciting.

Yeah this is my first, 8 weeks and I’m struggling with sickness did not think it would be this hard

I had my booking appointment today and now impatiently waiting for my 12 week scan date which is likely to be a logistical nightmare with school hols about to start 😅
Also feeling very bloated and super tired. Did anyone else feel completely wiped out after having bloods taken at their booking appointment?
I have been sleeping on my front, I remember really missing it in later pregnancy!

Yes I get these a lot, Duno if it’s pregnancy mixed with wind and constipation etc

Everything in the right place, measuring as expected and we heard the heartbeat. Can’t quite believe it but really relieved and it’s starting to feel a lot more real now. I guess symptoms (or lack of) really don’t tell you anything.

I had my booking appt today and it took two hours, but glad it’s over and done with. I have my next scan on Saturday and hoping everything is still going okay!

it’s been nice and windy where I am so it’s been a much cooler day thank god!

doctor gave me an ear spray, so hopefully will see some improvement!

ahhh, it’s always hard trying to keep things hidden until you’re ready to announce. I’m a baggy tshirt type of girl so I usually get away with it haha. Oh that’s good, something to look forward to! Hoping everything goes well for you.

i’m not too bad, same as you, tired. Sickness seems to be limited to once or twice in the morning but constant nausea throughout the day. But apart from that i feel okay.
Had my booking appt today which took around 2 hours😳 and bloods done. Private scan booked for Saturday and then I will wait for my 12 week one.

This may be TMI but I have such bad thrush and the cream/ pessaries just don't cut it! But the pills are teratogenic so I guess I'm just stuck being a brewery for the next 6.5 months!

Can I join you? I’m due on the 21st with our 2nd, they’re due 4 days after DS turns 1!.
It’s been a bit of a shock, we weren’t trying and I only found a couple of weeks ago due to feeling quite sick but my periods hadn’t returned yet so I wasn’t expecting anything at all. We had an early scan yesterday and baby looks healthy and is doing well, and I’m starting to process it all a bit more now!.

i have quite the long history to go through, couldn’t remember it ever taking that long before but my midwife seems lovely which is always a bonus!

ahhh no, sorry to hear that! hopefully it clears up for you soon! I’ve heard that a lot of women tend to get thrush when pregnant? I’m sure I read on one post somewhere about a woman who used cooling pads for the itch/burn, but don’t quote me on that haha. but might be worth looking into if you do suffer bad?

10+5 with 2nd child… due date 7th Feb I think?

1st pregnancy/birth was a pretty traumatic experience and made worse by Covid/being alone in hospital for the majority of it.

This pregnancy is unexpected but we’re happy. I’ve been pretty scared (thanks to previous trauma rearing its head again) and an extremely emotional mess for the last 5 weeks. So awfully fatigued as well. Hoping all eases up in the next couple of weeks. Scan is booked for 28th July. Can’t come soon enough as I’m dying to tell 4yo DD!

Do you have any tips for telling children they will be getting a sibling? TIA x

Does anyone have experience of 12 week dating scan with a tilted/retroverted uterus. I'm wondering even with a full bladder will they see enough over my abdomen? I've had internal ones before but never got as far as this scan. Really hoping they can get the measurements they need for the combined screening.

@poorlyfoot congratulations! I’m around the same, due Feb 6th (with no 3!).

With my second, she was a bit younger (about 2.5) but we showed her the pictures and explained as much as we could - and got her a ‘big sister’ t-shirt which she loved! I remember her being super excited but she had no concept of time.

This time we’ll be telling a 7 and 4 year old and I think they’ll both be excited but haven’t really thought about how yet. We want to tell them asap after 12 week scan so there’s a bit of a gap before youngest starts school in September 😀

I’ve also been a whirlwind of emotions and definitely notice it’s worse when I’m shattered (which seems to be most of the time at the moment!) I think it has taken a while to sink in and get my head around it all.

Hi everyone, I'm officially 11 weeks today 🥳. I've got my NHS dating scan and blood tests next Tuesday 22nd. Has anyone else got their dating scan dates yet?

I've not had nausea since week 7/8, but I'm so tired now and seriously constipated tmi haha.

I'm also showing and I really can't hide it. I'm a slim 5ft and getting looks now when I go somewhere, so I'm holding onto that and what I saw at my private 8 week scan and trying not to panic.
