@Givemethesun and @CustardCream31 I'm also booked in for a scan at 18 weeks due to an emcs at 10cm dilation. I'm really hoping it's all okay, because I'm pretty convinced that the progesterone I was on for spotting early on made all my symptoms 100x worse! Since reducing and coming off it, I've found sickness and reflux more manageable, though almost certainly because I'm well-medicatec for both of them. If I have to go back on progesterone, I'm not sure how I'll manage...
So exciting that people are finding out the sex of babies already! I'm 16 weeks tomorrow, so we're going to a private scan on saturday. No idea what we're going to have, because I've heard so many people say they had different symptoms but the same sex baby in both pregnancies... I think I may be feeling some movements though, as baby was very active at our 12 week scan and there's been the odd sensation that isn't easily explained any other way! Thankfully, no colostrum - didn't have any in my last pregnancy either.
@CustardCream31 SPD and PGP are the pits! I've been sleeping with a pillow under my hips since quite early on as it was already uncomfortable, but hoping that'll be the worst of it (not likely, think I've got another giant baby as I'm already obviously pregnant if not wearing a hoody 😬)
@pumpkinpatches22 I'm sure everything will be okay at the 20 week scan. I know that the people at our closest private scan places are all fully trained/qualified obstetric sonographers, so I'd be surprised if anything was missed in a thorough scan. Having said that, I know a few people who's 20 week scans showed up really "minor" anomalies - kidney dilation, for example - and have wonderfully healthy 2 year old now with no issues caused. So if anything develops between now and the anomaly scan, it doesn't mean anything is actually going to be wrong x
