How old were you when you had your last baby?

Just curious to know what age people had their last baby .. and did you know that you were done with kids?

I'm 16 weeks pregnant now and will be 42 when she's due.
Definitely stopping at these 2!

Third child 2 weeks after my 40th bday.

First at 32, second at 37. Secondary infertility was the reason for that 4.5yr gap, so second and third are ivf (same batch).

If it wasn't for my age I'd go again, but I know I'm done as that last pregnancy was so much harder than the first.

36 and pregnant with no. 2. Pretty sure I'm done. I'd have loved 3 but I already feel much older with this pregnancy than I did at 32/33. Also DH pretty adamant.

33 pregnant with my second (third pregnancy) it’s only first trimester but if it works out then we are done with two. If it doesn’t work out I would continue for a few more years.

First and last at 28. The experience scarred me (lots of complications for DD and me) and I swore off doing it again.

42 --- 21 years after my 3rd

I'll be 33 when second is born and we're done at 2. I'm the same age my mum was when she had her first (which was quite unusually late at the time).

I'd just turned 38. Had my first at 35

i was 35 for my third and last child. I didn't know I was done, and contemplated a fourth at times. They're all teens now and I'm very glad I stopped at three!

31 and my god I knew I was done. 2 is enough for me.

I had mine at 28, 30 and 38, and yes, absolutely done after the last, when I'd never had that feeling before (took a lot of mcs to get there). Doesn't mean there's not the odd bit of wistful broodiness, but in a very unreal 'if I won the lottery' kind of way.

28, I wanted a third for quite a few years but DH didn't.

Twins age 37 - my second and third children. I would have gone for a 4th around age 38/39 but divorced instead

Pregnant with DC3 and I’ll be 38 by the time they’re born. Had DC1 and 2 and 31 and 33 (young for where I live in London!) and thought I was done…

37. And I knew I was done. Easiest birth in the world however, much easier than my first when I was three years younger!

25 with my second, which seems ridiculously young with hindsight! DD1 is now only a few years younger than I was when she was born. Scary how quickly time flies.

33. Thought I wanted 2 so I was done, although never "felt" done, and I'm now 38 and still think about having a third.

25 when I had my second and last. Definitely no more, been sterilised

39 and pregnant with my 3rd and final baby. Perhaps if I was younger we'd want one more, but this is my own personal limit, and tbh I'm feeling like the 3rd will complete our family anyway.

Currently 36 and pregnant with number 3. I might have just turned 37 before I give birth. First at 33, second at 35.

Hoping to feel done after this one because I do not like being pregnant (currently on train with a sick bag on my lap) - though I know I’m very fortunate. Husband is keen for 4 but it would be madness financially.

27 I wanted to still be young (ish) when they were teens/young adults.

30 - my 3rd dc

I'm not done yet but planning it. Just turned 34 and hope to have my 2nd this year (as in birthday year, not 2024). Didn't want to be any older ideally. Was easy falling pregnant at 30 and had a really easy pregnancy and birth at 31. Hope for the same this time round!

30, I'm more than happy with 2 and wouldn't manage with more, financially anyway.
