I have just found out I am expecting baby number 2 and my due date is 1st May.

Has anyone else found out they are expecting and looking for some company?

@PinkPombear1 Congratulations! It must be really reassuring to see those flickering heartbeats x

@Lisac1991 Congratulations to you too! I take it as they were able to see the heartbeats as well?

Thank you, although I know anything can happen, it's still very exciting! I'm just going to take it two weeks at a time (I'm booked to go back to the EPU in two weeks)

Will you book an early scan do you think?

Lisac1991 · 11/09/2024 18:43

Yes heart beat seen when zoomed in!

Lisac1991 · 11/09/2024 18:44

Yes heart beat seen 😊 but at first they couldn’t see it and then they zoomed right in to show me baby and we saw it

teatoast8 · 11/09/2024 20:23

Anyone else want to sleep all day? Definitely more tired this time around x

Hello everyone and congratulations! I got a positive test 4 days ago and scan suggest I'm around 6 weeks so Due in April/May? I hope you don't mind me joining you as I actually haven't had a period since Dec 2022 so have no idea what date to go by 😅
This will be my second, I have a 1 year old son, too. I'm feeling happy, nauseous, excited and very very nervous about having 2 under 2!

You'll be fine. Not gonna lie it is hard but so so worth it 😊 I'm gonna have 3 under 4 😅

GraySweatpants · 11/09/2024 20:32

@PinkPombear1 I’m still on the fence about it tbh it’s the cost and all 🤷🏻‍♀️ Might consider getting one around 8W since you get to see more of the fetus. We had a scan at 7W with our first and it’s literally just a flickering red bean 😂

Rella357 · 11/09/2024 20:52

Hi all, just got my BFP today, I think I'm 5 weeks. I had HG with my second LO so dreading it happening again. Trying to eat all the foods while I still can

Ah 8 weeks might be a sweet spot then! Yes to be honest, I didn't know what I was supposed to be looking at on the scan, it just kept appearing then disappearing 😂

Can imagine it feels like a lifetime before the 12 week scan though!

Rella357 · 11/09/2024 21:31

Can I be added to the facebook group please?

tb4122 · 11/09/2024 21:43

Hi, I tested positive today, second baby. Very early days so may not stick, but today I am pregnant Smile (with a due date of 20th May).

Yes me I'm exhausted and nauseous all day, struggling to do anything tbh! X

Seasidegirll · 12/09/2024 11:58

Would love to be added into the Facebook group is possible please! I find it so hard to keep up on here. I’ve got an early scan booked for a few weeks time when I’ll be about 7 weeks, it absolutely cannot come soon enough!!

Same, I am currently in bed eating secret Haribos. I also have a cold. Feel utterly shattered.

ShortWide · 12/09/2024 16:42

Hi everyone, I have tested postive, first pregnancy, and am about 3-4 weeks. It was our third cycle of trying and it hasn’t sunk in but I am over the moon!

Already had some nausea and VERY sore boobs. But the thing I’m struggling with the most is not talking about it!!! I am so desperate to share the news but my sensible head knows it’s not a good idea at this moment. So I’m saying it on here
😁

My due date is 24th May ❤️

Blossomofhope · 12/09/2024 17:09

Hi ladies,
I have been testing positive this week after a failed ivf cycle last cycle. I had some spotting so I started taking progesterone pessaries - it’s like a habit at this stage. I have them left over from ivf cycles and being prescribed them for early spotting in natural cycles. I do not want to go back to my ivf clinic, I feel traumatised from it at this stage after miscarriages and failed ivf.
Long story short is anyone taking progesterone pessaries for a natural pregnancy? I don’t even believe this is happening honestly.

Seasidegirll · 12/09/2024 17:54

Hi @Blossomofhope! Can’t comment about the progesterone but just wanted to say that I’m in a similar situation, pregnant naturally after a failed round of ivf. I’m nearly 6 weeks and I’m still in complete shock!! I hope the spotting stops for you soon x

WishingUponARainbow · 12/09/2024 18:48

Hi everyone!
I'm so pleased I can finally say I am around 4 weeks 3 days pregnant with a little rainbow baby 🥹🥹🥹 tested positive yesterday after trying for nearly 2 years and a miscarriage last April.

Soooo incredibly nervous/excited/anxious/all the emotions! I have spent today going to the toilet when I can checking I'm not bleeding 🙃

Going on first day of my last period I am due around the 19th May but I'm convinced I ovulated early this cycle (didn't track) so god knows!!
Hoping this little bean sticks this time and excited to go along this journey with you all 🤗

It’s really hard to comprehend isn’t it? I’m so shocked. Ya the spotting has stopped since I self prescribed myself progesterone 😅

Congrats. I understand the anxiety. We are at the 3 year mark with one natural and one ivf miscarriage along the way. It’s all so bizarre. When are you planning to go to the gp?

WishingUponARainbow · 12/09/2024 19:05

@Blossomofhope not sure yet, I'm probably going to wait a week or 2 because I still don't quite believe this is real haha! How about you?
I actually have a HyCosy procedure booked in next Tuesday so I'm thinking more about when to cancel that... I want to cancel tomorrow to give them time to find someone else to fill the space, but I'm scared it will jinx me and I'll lose little bean, so I want to cancel on Monday at the very last minute but I feel guilty about potentially wasting an appointment!
I suppose all in all if something goes awry over the weekend I wouldn't be able to go anyway because I'd be bleeding 🫠 it's just such a headf**k!!
Congrats to you also btw 😀

I totally understand. I have an appointment with a new fertility doctor in a week or so and I also feel like I’ll jinx it if I cancel it. It’s just so hard to believe.

Hello! I felt a bit nauseous the last two mornings but can’t imagine that’s possible so early (about 4 weeks). It’s all so confusing.
