5 weeks pregnant with number 2. Due end of March 25 I think
Anyone else due around the same time? Would be nice to have people to chat to along the way 😊

You do get (kind of) used to it.

My last pregnancy I was due mid Aug so was heavily pregnancy ithrough the summer n this heat.

Can't decide what's worse actually...... the heat zaps your energy and makes the first trimester sickness 10× worse. I just want to puke and sleep constantly.

But waddling around like a massive swollen whale with pre-eclampsia in this heat wasn't much fun either!

Congrats @Anticipationstation so lovely that 3 of us have the same due date! Wish I was jetting off on a holiday - enjoy! When I was pregnant in the summer previously I wore lots of floaty and maxi dresses

@Rosequartzz ahhh glad your nausea and sickness has settled. Hope it has stayed that way for you

@sel2223 yeah similar here. In my first pregnancy I didn't start properly showing until at least 25 weeks. I definitely have a bump starting. They do say you show quicker, you feel movements earlier and your labour is quicker with second pregnancies. I'm so hoping it's true for the labour part!! I had a longggg and painful labour with my first

@InvisibleDragon yes I quite like it at this stage as in you know it's there but it's not so overwhelming. I'm dreading what I'm going to feel like later on down the line if I'm starting to grow a bump already 🙈 I too need to look at maternity clothes. My first pregnancy was during Covid lockdown so I practically lived in pyjamas, leggings and hoodies. This pregnancy is going to be very different (in a good way) so I want to embrace it by trying to feel good about myself

Some sad news from me - had an early scan at 10 weeks today and sonographer couldn't see a heartbeat. Looks like the pregnancy stopped developing at about 6 weeks. Waiting for an NHS scan appointment to find out what happens next, but I'll step away from this thread now.

We had a private scan at 11 weeks today and all looks great, measuring 2 days ahead so I have a new EDD of 26.3.25 💓
we’re going to tell our son, who is 7, tomorrow. ive been waiting for this moment for 5 years & I’m just so excited to tell him he’s going to be a big brother 😍

@ploo @Anticipationstation Thank you he was so so happy! He’s been wanting a sibling for years. A couple of years ago he actually asked me why he didn’t have a brother or sister & I just didn’t know what to say. He saw his shadow on the floor & said, “maybe my shadow could be my brother” I can’t tell you how broken my heart was to hear that! So telling him was the most amazing feeling I’ve ever had.
he actually told his class yesterday that he’s having a baby haha. I just feel so happy & really hope it stays this way for us 🤍🤍🤍

Had my 12 week scan yesterday and, fortunately, looks OK. My kids are younger so I’m going to try and keep it secret for a bit longer so it’s not too long for them to wait!

@Anticipationstation great news! Yeah it’s easier to hide it for longer with little ones. So glad everything was good with your scan. 2nd trimester here we come 😍

I thought I wasn’t doing too badly with the vomiting this time but it’s really come for me in the past week or so. Is anyone else having the same? Hoping this is the peak of it rather than the beginning of things getting worse!

Trying to focus on the fact we are heading into the second trimester soon! Roll on pregnancy glow…

Amazing to hear! I have my scan tomorrow. I'll be 13 weeks but it's the 12 week scan.
Hopefully I'll get more clarity on the EDD, as per apps it's currently showing as 26th March

What week are you in ? My sickness has all but gone in the last 2 weeks which is from week 11. There are still some waves of nausea and sickness but nothing like it has been which had be completely wiped out.

Ahhh thank you. I’ll be 13 weeks on Friday. I’ve been sick at least 5 times a day for the past week or so, despite regular Xonvea. This evening was a low point as I spontaneously vomited on my own face whilst trying to go to sleep. So that was nice 😂. I was definitely expecting things to be improving rather than getting worse now

we had our 12 week scan yesterday and all looked really good. Just waiting for the blood results. I’m nervous but the scan was good and she said everything looked fine so bloods should be fine too. I’m such a worrier!

@Anticipationstation it’s so shit being sick. Mines almost gone now but last night I was sick a lot. Hopfully it’s just the tail end of the sickness wave and doesn’t hang around for long.

@figgyandpig woohoo due date buds! Yeah I'm also waiting for bloods. All was fine on scan but still leaves some doubt in your mind doesn't it. Baby was moving so much during the scan. Was really nice to see after seeing just a blob in the early scan
