Hopefully your first scan will fill in the dates, are you going to wait for the 12 week one?

Thank you! My ”baby” is actually 14 months old so not too little! It just takes me a while to get my periods back I think. Have booked a private scan in a couple of weeks - I think I will be about 8 weeks then but it would be nice to have a better idea. Also I’m not feeling as awful as I was during my last pregnancy, which is lovely on one hand, but also makes me slightly anxious!

Had our 6 weeks scan (ivf pregnancy) I’m measuring 6w+4 which is perfect and we saw the heart beating 💓 I must admit I was absolutely shitting myself and felt sick! feeling grateful to be here in this position. Now the 6 week wait for the 12 week scan 😮‍💨 thank you everyone for your support xx

6w4d today and feeling horrendous - was actually sick this morning. I had some nausea last time but nothing like this!!

Hello lovelies! I heard from a hospital, and I have my 1st scan next week Wednesday, I imagine I will be almost 8 weeks by then. So excited! It's my first pregnancy so everything is entirely unexperienced:)

I had my second scan this morning and there’s a heart beat and baby is measuring 6 weeks 3 days so exactly 7 days growth since the last scan last Wednesday. We are waiting to get a prescription for progesterone now and I feel so relieved and grateful. We had the same midwife who scanned me last week so that was lovely. I’m getting another scan in two weeks so keep growing baby 🌱❤️🤞🏻

@figgyandpig yes! A few weeks ago my nips had funny dry rashes but I put normal moisturiser and it disappeared since.

@Bababybell it is incredible! I still can't get my head around it, 6 weeks heart beat. Beautiful!

Sorry for a stupid question but to give some context: I don't have a good relationship with my GP (I moved to 5 years ago) he has never helped me with anything and I always prefer to go private of I have any issue.
So my gp was supposed to call me today afternoon, they called me at 9am and left a voicemail which os not very concise and rather tired but I figured they expect me to re book.
Do I need to speak to them about my pregnancy? Or should I just wait for my appointment with a lovely midwife next week?

I had some rather odd pains last night after a coughing episode - they weren't cramps but more like lightening crotch SEVERE lol, kept coming and going for around 25 mins until i gave in and just went to bed!

We have booked a scan for this Sunday, i should be 7+5 hoping that we can see a heartbeat and hoping that the pictures will be good enough to pop in announcement cards to our immediate family for them to keep (copies of) anyone else had a scan at that stage and can say whether it looked like more than just a little blob 😊 x

I'm meant to be around 5 weeks 5 days going by my last period, I had a scan yesterday and the lady could only see a sac, a yolk but no fetal pole just yet. I have a re scan in 2 weeks time to see if they can see baby, I'm just feeling worried. 😞 has this happend to anyone else? Xx

@Bababybell Amazing news so pleased. I’m on progesterone pessaries, ergh I hate them 🙃 I have to have them until 16 weeks due to previous miscarriage. I think we are almost exactly the same with our pregnancy xx

@BabyUxX I’m so sorry that must of been so worrying. I’ve not had that happen but I did go to my 6 week scan last year and they saw nothing in the sac, not even the yolk and told me it was non viable. I think if they’ve seen the yolk there could be the feral pole but it’s still too early to see? I have everything crossed for you for your next scan. Keep busy and distracted in the mean time hunny xxx

Hi ❤️❤️❤️I’m sorry you’re feeling so worried. I had the same experience a week ago, measured 5 weeks and 3 days and there was a sac and yolk but no heartbeat. The sonographer was positive that this was normal for the age of baby and I got rescanned yesterday and I was 6 weeks 3 days with a heartbeat. Last week while waiting I spent about a day in bed feeling distraught and doom scrolling then I tried to distract myself by getting out and about. It’s really hard but if you can plan nice things to do to try and keep busy it should help xxx

Have you had them before? It’s my first time and i don’t mind so much now but I think it’s going to become a pain having to do it twice a day. This morning I set my DD up and then lay down for 30 mins on the sofa and I was quite glad of the excuse. When I go back to work I imagine it’s more inconvenient. Just I don’t need any of the side effects because I’m already so bloated 🙈

@BabyUxX yes this happened to me with my previous pregnancy (who is now a healthy, spritely 3 year old) and also last week. I have another scan on Tuesday to confirm if everything growing nicely. In the 5 week bracket they do not expect to see anything more than a sac as it's far too early to see much on the ultrasound. As previous posters have said, try to distract yourself by doing nice things to take your mind off it. Our minds can torture us and I've learnt that google is my worst enemy. Hope the time goes quickly for you x

@Bababybell Yes I’ve had to use them with all 4 of my ivf embryo transfers. I don’t have a problem with progesterone, I think it’s just what you have to do during ivf.
Ive had to start using them rectally, lucky me 😭 because they were irritating my cervix and causing brown spotting which freaked me out but is super common. So if that happens switch. Less mess too. Oh the joys of being a woman 😂
you are likely to have symptoms, bloating etc but hopefully not much. Xx

So I went for my scan this morning and by their estimation I’m significantly ahead of what I thought and more likely 11 weeks!!!

On one hand it’s a lot of worry I don’t have to have but has brought a whole other range of worries!!

Seeing bump waving was lovely though!!
