5 weeks pregnant with number 2. Due end of March 25 I think

I’m due 29th March (currently 5W2D) This will hopefully be my second baby, I have a nearly 3 year old. This is my third pregnancy as I had a CP last cycle at 4W5D so feel very on edge and anxious this time around.

With my DS I had really bad nausea from 1DPO up until 20 weeks. On both recent pregnancies I also had symptoms from 1DPO so knew pretty much immediately but with this latest pregnancy the nausea seems to have settled down, which is scaring me tbh! I’m feeling exhausted and very achey so I guess will just have to see what happens 🤞🏻🤞🏻 I am still having dye stealers and got my 3+ weeks on a CB today…. my lines never got dark on the CP so that’s reassuring it some ways.

Trying to do yoga and stay as calm as I can 🙏🏻🙏🏻

@Steffi12 I completely sympathise, I also had a MMC before having my daughter and have a bit of anxiety around having scans. I had an early scan with dd though at 6+2 and saw a little blob with a heartbeat, so you should be able to see something similar if not clearer at 7+ weeks🤞

I’ve got a horrible lurgy which has taken over from pregnancy symptom spotting 🤒hoping to feel human again soon, but it probably won’t last that long!

Welcome @Steffi12 the thirst levels has me shocked! The last 2 days I've had such a dry mouth continually I haven't stopped drinking water. What is everyone doing to keep hunger at bay or stay healthy with snacking
I'm finding I've got so hungry in the last couple days I'm running out of things to eat.

I've also found I can no longer handle spicy food. My 19 month nephew ate some food which I found so spicy like it was burning a whole in my chest 😅🤣 anyone else ? Did it pass ?

@Rosequartzz I am struggling to snack I basically only eat twice a day. My worry is what I'm eating. I'm use to eating salads and meats but I cannot stomach anything more than bagels and cheese. I feel so bloated and gross also sadly concerned about weight gain which my husband thinks is ridiculous. I feel so ill and nauseous even on my meds but crappy beige food is all I can stomach lol x

@SunshineMummy2 so sorry to hear this. I wouldn't worry about the weight too much, getting nutrients to you and baby is key. I have got a weird taste to everything but am eating because I'm hungry. I'm worried about the nutrition of some of the snacks I am reaching for. Trying so hard with the protein. I put on 10kg just because of IVF and my husband doesn't disagree when I said I think I'm going to become huge 😅🤣😂

What meds are you on @SunshineMummy2 ?

@Rosequartzz I'm on xonvea. I was very ill for a good few weeks and they put me on it to stop the vomiting and bad nausea. I still feel nausea but definitely not as bad. I hate being on meds even though they're safe but I couldn't manage two other kids, throwing up and extreme tiredness.

The GP told me to just survive the first trimester and then things will get easier.

Oh gosh, glad to hear it's got better with the meds. Hopefully you can come off the meds soon

Thanks! Mostly tired and have some discomfort in the belly since this morning. Haven't seen a doctor/ midwife/ anyone yet, so I'd say somewhat scared. 1st time pregnant

Hello girls 🧡 could I join? I’m 5w+3 due 28th March. I’ve been following this thread but too nervous to join incase the worst happens but I had more bloods today which has reassured me things are progressing nicely.
my 6w+4 scan is booked on the 6th.
my pregnancy is ivf, 4th transfer 😮‍💨 hoping for a nice sticky baby xx

I’ve got my scan at EPU tomorrow at 9 am. Im
convinced it won’t be good news so I’m preparing myself. The only things I’ve got to go on is I have strong almost dye stealer tests now and some nausea and off my food a bit.

I literally have zero symptoms, absolutely nothing. I feel totally normal and empty (if that makes sense) that’s why I’ve had so many hcg bloods done (and paid for myself!) because I don’t feel pregnant. I’m waiting for them to say “sorry love but we got it wrong, you’re not pregnant after all” 😂

I’ve been doing a 1000 piece jigsaw with my 6yo DS to stop me from doom scrolling google!

Can I join? I have literally just found out I'm pregnant after putting off testing for the past week 🙈 I was so scared, my boobs were the biggest giveaway, they are massive! When usually they are like pancakes 😂

I think I'm around 4-5 weeks, my last period was 28th June! This was my very first test I've taken today!

@Bababybell good luck for tomorrow! I feel the same, no symptoms really.
Plus a week ago I did a digital it said 2-3 weeks and it still said 2-3 weeks today😓 so I’m a bit worried now.

Hi ladies! Sorry I feel off the radar a little, works been crazy and my symptoms have been making me feel like I have the worlds worst hangover which hardly feels fair🙈 hope everyone’s doing okay!

@soymilknosugar im sorry to hear you’re worried 😓 as I say I just feel like I have a bad hangover, but last night my symptoms eased off and I worried about that. With each pregnancy I’ve had I’ve never actually been sick. Weird to be wishing to be sick 🙈
I know it’s super easy for me to say, but I’ve also trawled the internet for answers over tests and digitals, as felt my tests weren’t getting as dark as I’d like. From what I’ve read hcg is so variable from pregnancy to pregnancy and I think the digitals are notorious for giving random answers. I’ve read about people testing the same urine sample with digitals for one to say 2-3 and one to say 3+. I hope you’re feeling okay, I sympathise with the anxiety as I’m the same. I also feel like we don’t really get a great amount of support early on. My midwife service said to ring back next week when I’m 6 weeks and that’s it so feeling a bit left to it x

I have a sac and a yolk and baby’s measuring 5 week 3 days. No heartbeat so I’ve a scan a week from now. I’m not coping well and have been raging at my husband because I feel so hopeless.

my first day of my last period was 16th June. We had unprotected sex on 25th and 27th June. I didn’t take ovulation test but Flo app calculated ovulation 30th June. The midwife said based on the measurements ovulation could have been 6th/7th July. The only thing giving me hope is that measurement is not exact and based on averages.

I need to stop spiralling and apologise to my husband 😫

Can I join? Estimated due date is 25th March though my early scan with the EPU yesterday said I am somewhere around 5.5-6 weeks (I make today 6w+1). Saw a tiny heartbeat yesterday but we’ve not had much luck the past couple of years so trying not to get carried away yet!

@Bababybell easier said than done but try and distract yourself. I'm sure your husband understands your anxiety. I would be raging too, it could be a miscalculation!! X
