@Steffi12 thank you lovely, I also went down the rabbit hole and I think you’re right they’re not to be taken too seriously! Agreed, early pregnancy feels so lonely sometimes - you are pretty much left to it, haven’t told friends yet etc. but like you said, no point stressing over what’s beyond our control! I’m just trying to keep busy.

sorry @Bababybell I know it’s not the outcome you wanted but as you say it’s very plausible that it’s just too early to see the hb - great news that the sac etc was seen. It is such a stressful time. Look after yourself x

figgyandpig · 31/07/2024 12:16

@Bababybell sorry it’s not what you expected today, it’s still early and a hb can’t usually be seen until after 6 weeks. Find a distraction ❤️ easier said than done, I know. I’m feeling like I’m slightly spiriling, I’m at the stage my last pregnancy ended and worried that I’ll get to the scan and there be no baby just like last time.
I’ll have everything crossed for a positive scan next week xx

Thank you everyone. ❤️❤️❤️ my prayer currently is grow baby grow grow grow 🌱

I started to get some pregnancy symptoms the last couple of days, sore boobs mainly and funny little lumps around my nipples. Today those symptoms are hardly noticeable. Have you girls found symptoms come and go? Or had those funny little lumps around the nipples?

Last week I had Monday -thursday off sick with pregnancy sickness. Friday to Saturday lunchtime no sickness at all. Saturday afternoon on wards it returned and I have had some time off this week too.

UncharteredWaters · 02/08/2024 10:47

hi ladies,
Can I join as well please? I’d followed the other thread but also felt everyone was too far ahead.

I think my Edd is 24th March.
I had a really early positive - maybe 7days post ovulation, really sore boobs, thirst and extreme tiredness.

Other than bed by 11, awake at half six it’s all disappeared. So really worried now that it’s not progressing.
Im having an NHS scan next Friday so fingers crossed for then!!

Bababybell · 02/08/2024 20:16

I sometimes think my boobs aren’t as sore and it makes me worry and I haven’t felt sick often. I’ve had some nausea and I’m definitely off chocolate and ice cream (very unlike me). But I always feel I’m imagining it because I darent believe it’s real. 3 of us with scans next week 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

UncharteredWaters · 02/08/2024 20:44

@Bababybell thats exactly how I feel!
I was off Diet Coke but now I can tolerate it again which then worries me too!
I have no nausea at all yet - I don’t want it but then my irrational side tells me it would make me feel more pregnant.
what day is your scan - fingers crossed for you!

Hi everyone. Welcome to the ones who have joined since I lasted posted. So sorry I've not been responding to posts. I've been in hospital ☹️ pregnancy is fine but I may have to have scans/operation in second trimester

On the bright side, I had an internal scan on EPU earlier this week (in relation to the symptoms I was getting to exclude ectopic) and a sac was seen in the right place. They even saw that I ovulated from my left ovary. I have another scan in 2 weeks to check that everything is coming on nicely as it was too early to see anything else other than the sac (which is completely normal)

Hope everyone is ok!

@Bababybell It’s frustrating because I want to feel pregnant but not sure if it’s the progesterone I’m taking. I keep pushing my boobs to see if they hurt 🤭 but then I’m thinking, am I just hurting them by prodding them all the time!🤦🏽‍♀️ I just got to get past these couple of days and then it’s scan 🤞

Steffi12 · 03/08/2024 11:17

Hey everyone!

Hope everyone’s doing okay. Had a scare myself yesterday afternoon after going to the toilet a couple of times there were some pink tinges on the toilet roll and I was aching in my lower back. Sounds a little dramatic but after 2 losses I’m fearing the worst. Couldn’t get hold of the midwife at all but managed to get through to the GP who took me seriously and sent for a referral to the EPU. So I’ve also got a scan next week🤞🏻
Everything seems okay today, trying to keep positive x

I do the same to my boobs and I was even pleased before when my 3 year old pushed into them and they hurt ☺️ yes I’ve got 4 days to go. My DD is in nursery Monday Tuesday so I can focus on self care stuff / sleeping to escape the constant worrying. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻for all 4 of us next week for healthy growing babies 🌱🌱🌱🌱

I was nauseous with my missed miscarriage last year but I still look and hope for signs. My scan is next Wednesday 8.30 am - I was a wreck last Wednesday and started crying as soon as I got into the scan room and was very negative, refusing to look at the screen or listen to the lovely lovely midwife saying it was probably all good. Mmm I could actually have a diet coke now with lots of ice and lemon. Fingers crossed for you too xxx

@soymilknosugar thank you. I'm better now but still not 100%. Under a close eye with the specialists for the time being. Was definitely a scary time but much less scary now thank god!

Ahh how exciting!! I have my booking appointment in 2 weeks. They only do them between 8-10 weeks where I am

Hi ladies! Hope you are all doing OK. Wondered if I might join you? Have been lurking for a while but didn’t want to join for fear of something going wrong. Think I’m due at some point in the last week of March, though not totally sure as hadn’t had a period postpartum.

Bababybell · 05/08/2024 08:35

Hi @Anticipationstation 👋🏻 ❤️how are you feeling?

Bababybell · 05/08/2024 18:08

I’ve had some spotting when I wipe and it’s give me massive anxiety. It’s the tiniest bit, bright red and not every time - sorry tmi 🙈- but I’m worried this is the start. I’ve tried calling EPU but no answer so I’m thinking to wait till my scan on Wednesday and try not to worry. I’m just wanting to check constantly now which does not help me relax.

figgyandpig · 05/08/2024 18:50

@Bababybell This is easy to say but try and not fear the worst, some spotting can be very normal in pregnancy 🧡 distract yourself with somthing. If it gets worse deffo get an appointment sooner. Sending you so much love and positivity xx

Anticipationstation · 05/08/2024 19:02

So sorry to hear that @Bababybell - hope you are doing OK. Are you able to just turn up at EPU or do you need an appointment?

I’m feeling quite sick, but otherwise OK.

I think it’s appointment and also they do sometimes give advice over the phone so I’d wanted to try and get some peace of mind. Hope you’re getting lots of rest and have food you can tolerate.

UncharteredWaters · 05/08/2024 20:39

@Bababybell i remember reading a very reassuring statistic about early bleeding and especially if it’s bright red.
Not long to scan now and hopefully all will be okay.
