Hi all,

I've just found out I'm pregnant and due Nov. I've found Mumsnet so helpful during conception so wanted to start a thread on pregnancy if anyone wanted to join. I'm feeling VERY tired, I've had cold feet (literally) and jelly legs today. I had very heavy implantation bleeding last time (which ended in loss about 4 weeks later) and none of that so far so hoping that's a positive sign. Have the strangest feeling already that it's a boy. How's everyone else doing? Xxx

@Farfarfarfarfaraway ! Welcome and congrats! How old is DC1?

Thank you! My little boy is 2, he’ll be 3 at the start of November 😁. Lots of November birthdays!

1yearplan · 03/03/2024 20:59

Congratulations @Farfarfarfarfaraway

Is anyone doing daily tests for progression? I know it doesn't mean anything in terms of longer term outcomes but I'm finding it reassuring at the moment to see the line get darker each day!

Hello november mums!

I have been doing daily tests lol. I'm also in denial I am pregnant 😂

I've now taken 5 tests and they keep getting darker each day. I have photos saved on my phone to remind me, and keep needing to remind myself no you can't have a glass of wine. Just missed my period so super super early.

I'm 33, married, first pregnancy and first try - hope everything goes okay for everyone 💕🤰

piechipsgravy · 03/03/2024 21:39

@Hanbanan44 what brand are you using? I'm feeling quite anxious that my tests haven't got noticeably darker for the last 3 days...

shohopeful · 03/03/2024 21:41

@piechipsgravy it could just be the tests. Plus they're definitely darker from a few days ago! Have you used a digital one? You could try them one week apart? (A long time to wait I know. It's so hard!) xxx

I used 3 x boots ones and also clear blue early and clear blue rapid. Mixing it up.

On my lurking on these forums this week, people seemed to rate the Boots early tests but not so much the clear blue early.

I did a digital on Thursday but it was just pregnant/not pregnant.
Did one with weeks this morning and got 'Pregnant 2-3' which is right for my dates so I'll try not to worry so much!

Happy Monday everyone!!

Butterfly134 · 04/03/2024 07:51

Hi all, hoping I can join as I got my BFP on Saturday. According to my clearblue OPK's I ovulated on the 17th so I think im around 4 ish weeks! Feeling very nervous this time round and it's bab number 2 and I've had lots of health complications after my HG pregnancy with DD

1yearplan · 04/03/2024 10:37

Welcome @Hanbanan44 and @Butterfly134. Good news re the the test this morning @piechipsgravy. I hope it's settled your mind a bit.
I'm just trying to take one day at a time here. AF is officially due tomorrow although it was a day early last month. I don't feel any different at all, which I guess is not so unusual this early on. I keep having to remind myself the tests have been positive 😂
Looking forward to each little milestone. Look after yourselves

Loz365 · 04/03/2024 17:48

Welcome and congrats to the new joiners!

@1yearplan I also have no real symptoms. The odd cramp here and there but nothing else. Makes it feel like a dream atm 😅

Got my first scan 2 weeks today, just counting down the days to that and keeping everything crossed that it all goes okay!

📣CALLING ALL SCAN EXPERTS & TWIN MOMS! 📣

Hi everyone 🙋🏻‍♀️

I’m very early pregnant with my 6th baby
(5 weeks) I went for an early scan due to lots of left ovary pain and to get some reassurance all is at it should it be.

They saw one little sac measuring spot on for my dates however, I swear I can see a second sac 🤦🏻‍♀️ I mentioned it to the sonographer during the scan but she said she wasn’t to sure and wasn’t interested in looking into it 🙄

I’ve uploaded a few pictures in hope someone can shed a little light. 💡
My friend, who I sent my piccies to, thinks she’s funny, she’s highlighted 4 babies! 😂

I’m back in 2 weeks for a follow up so I will keep you all posted.

Thanks Everyone 🤗🥰

Morning all. Welcome and congrats new joiners!

I'm really struggling with the near constant cramping and lower back ache at the moment. I woke up at 1.30 and 4.30 - the cramps are like very mild period pains and I don't need to take pain killers for them but they just niggle! I wondered about calling EPU but think I'm too early for them to see/do anything. Getting on/off pains on my right side that feel like I'm just being poked in one spot but also having pains on the left side and across my whole uterus area so not sure if that rules out ectopic because it's not localised/only one sided pain? Also no bleeding and tests continuing to get darker.
I've read so many reassuring threads about people cramping in early pregnancy so I'm hopeful that this is just an annoyance!

Is anyone else getting a lot of cramping/lower back ache?

shohopeful · 05/03/2024 07:28

Hi @piechipsgravy I'm the same. It definitely feels like period pains too but also no blood and tests getting darker. I am also wondering if it's bowel related? I'm hoping once I get up and move around it'll subside. I think we're about the same in terms of how far along we are? I'm 4+4 today. Hope you're ok xxx

Hi lovely, yes I'm also 4+4 today! I think a lot of my cramps are definitely gas and constipation related 😂 I don't think I'd care so much if I was getting a good nights sleep! I'm going to ring EPU today for advice re the poking pain and hopefully they'll tell me I'm being ridiculous and then I can move on. If they give any good advice I'll post it on here!

shohopeful · 05/03/2024 07:33

@piechipsgravy yes please keep us posted on what they say! I'm going to go for a walk before work and hope that relieves some of the discomfort/pain. Would love to just fast forward to 20 weeks right now!!

Elixabeth · 05/03/2024 08:32

Morning everyone, I've had some uncomfortable cramps but they're definitely constipation/bowel related, I'm still getting the odd twinge on one side which must be the side I ovulated from. So hard not getting anxious about every little thing, my first scan can't come soon enough!

Noooooogsh · 05/03/2024 08:46

Morning all, I had cramps all of last week then had the tiniest bit of bleeding on Friday night, honestly about 4 drops, and no more blood or cramps since. I wonder if it was delayed implantation or something? Still have all other symptoms (sore boobs, headaches) so I’m pretty sure it’s all good

1yearplan · 05/03/2024 09:08

Morning,
@Chestermate lovely to see a scan picture. I'm no help on knowing if it's twins though. However, it will be fun guessing!
@piechipsgravy I've always had cramps in early pregnancy. Hopefully everything is fine. Annoying it's waking you though.
@Noooooogsh I had a bit of blood at the weekend. It has stopped now though. Hopefully it's just late implantation for us.
I'm 4+2 today and af should be due today too. I think it will feel more real from tomorrow when my af is officially late.

piechipsgravy · 05/03/2024 09:26

Thanks everyone. Spoke to EPU and as I've had 1 sided pain + some lightning crotch (shooting/stabbing vagina pains) they've asked me to come in to get checked out. If I hadn't mentioned the shooting vagina pains they would have asked me to take paracetamol and call back if that wasn't working.

I'm hoping for reassurance but bracing myself for bad news. Will keep you all updated!

shohopeful · 05/03/2024 09:27

@piechipsgravy I have everything crossed for you. Hopefully you're not waiting too long either xxxxx

Hi, can I join? I just got my BFP at 11dpo. Not sure of my due dates as my cycles have been up and down recently and anywhere from 29 to 34 days. I am hazarding a guess that I will be between 12th and 15th November.
I got bad indigestion with my daughter and it has started already so this could be fun 😂

Loz365 · 05/03/2024 11:36

@piechipsgravy hope it all goes okay, let us know how you get on!

I'm 5 weeks today, still dont really have any symptoms. Bit of backache but not sure if that's just normal backache and the odd cramp... but nothing else!

Jellybelly888 · 05/03/2024 11:46

@piechipsgravy I hope it all goes ok. Please let us know. I had mild period type cramps yesterday but I also have constipation so that’s maybe it, not sure 🤔

My little boy now has measles, so I’m trying not to panic. He’s been vaccinated so hopefully just a mild case (he’s fine in himself) but he’s going to have to stay with his dad (ex husband) because I can’t be around him being pregnant. Of course I’m panicking now because I spent all weekend with him and he was in my bed with me due to being full of cold (which we now know is measles), trying not to Google too much. 😖

piechipsgravy · 05/03/2024 12:15

@shohopeful @Loz365 @Jellybelly888 just left the EPU. They took urine and blood samples (will get results by tonight at 5pm) and I had an examination from a doctor. She did an external stomach feel and offered an internal if I wanted it which I took. Got to wait for blood results and then will most likely need to repeat in 48 hours rather than a scan at this stage as it's too early to see anything. She did say she was not worried about ectopic- particularly due to lack of risk factors and bleeding- and it's most likely a corpus luteum. Will just have to wait and see 🤞🏻

Kinsters · 05/03/2024 12:38

I've been having cramping on and off on both sides. I had a cyst before I got pregnant and it feels very much like that. I've got a scan tomorrow (should be 5+4, maybe a little later) so I guess I'll find out. I miscarry so often I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
