That’s good tip about snacks @Lillers! I’m trying to silently cram in a ginger biscuit behind my daughter’s back 😂 you know what toddlers are like. I only have a handful left and this isn’t something I want to be sharing!

@Lillers it makes sense you'd feel more sick on an empty stomach. I get what I call Hungry sick sometimes. When you really hungry but you feel sick and your stomach hurts a little.

It's worse now I'm pregnant, and I actually almost be sick. Snacks by the bed might help. Or my cats might help themselves to it 😅

@HRP1990 My biscuit stealer is my husband 😂. His first word to me this morning was a very hopeful, “biscuit?”

@HRP1990 my boy always spots me if I'm biscuit eating. He once just took one out my hand and tottled off. He's 2 and adorable so I was so conflicted 🤣

Had a bit of brown spotting last night but there isn’t much this morning, and after reading everyone else’s experiences with it on this thread I haven’t been anxious about it as it seems to be the norm! Not feeling very sick this morning but if I remember correctly it’s weeks 8-13 that are the biggy nausea weeks for me. I think I’m just over 6 weeks atm.

@Fawklight 😂 we’re purposely sat on opposite ends of the sofa watching Dougie.. but how long until she catches me and I hear the dreaded “more!?”

@VT6 yes at 11am and I feel utterly sick with a mix of both nerves and excitement. Terrified of our little pregnant happy bubble being burst with potential bad news, but even more excited at the prospect of hoping for good news and getting to finally really believe this is real.

, approaching week 9. Week 8 is nearing end for me. This week nausea has has been mild, it’s definitely taken the back seat. The only day I had nausea that was challenging to manage was Wedneaday. Had some nausea on Sunday, not much on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. Yesterday only in the morning a bit. I am boring these days. 8PM is bed time for me. Woke up for the loo three times tonight.
supposed to be having midwife over today but she didn’t say what time. So I’ll just be sat at home waiting for her I guess.

@xur I’m 8+2 and my nausea has definitely settled down a bit too. Hope the midwife doesn’t keep you waiting too long, they are always like that but I think it’s because they are used to visiting women with newborns so presume they won’t be leaving the house.

Morning ladies! Been a bit quiet the last couple of days. Been a mental few days at work and went out for dinner with family last night.

Off to our scan soon, it's at 10am. I feel sick with nerves.

I am looking for some advice. I have been trying to fall pregnant for a while now and have felt a little different this month. I ovulated on 23/01/24. I have very irregular cycles ranging from 32-48. I am currently 11DPO and have taken two FRER tests. Top one was yesterday afternoon and this morning (second wee) was the bottom test. What are your thoughts? First of all I thought the lines was far apart but have been advised this is normal. I’d love to hear feedback! Thank you!! Xx

@Lillers I cringe at the thought of eating something and going back to sleep without getting up to clean my teeth 🫣😮 I just couldn't!

@hol92 @Bakerbean ... my distinct lack of headaches is a concern for me. I get hormonal migraines nearly every month, and I get headaches a lot. I have read that headache-y people are more likely to get them when pregnant. Does anyone else have lowkey panics that something's wrong in there? It's the not knowing that is getting to me. Today was supposed to be my Pvt scan. Half tempted to book another one (somewhere else) to see if anything has changed BUT I know I should wait until Thursday)

Lack of headache, boobs don't hurt as much as yesterday... don't feel sick. At least if I did I'd feel pregnant. 🫠 at least I'm not bleeding anymore.

@californiacooper I absolutely get that, but my nausea was so bad that it was either that, or risk getting up in the night to throw up acid and ruin my teeth that way! It won’t be forever, just while I get through this bit, with extra tooth scrubbing the rest of the time (I usually clean them 3 times a day as it is - morning, after dinner and before bed). Might just add in a midnight clean when I get up for a wee!

I woke up this morning desperately wanting hash browns, so my husband went out, bought some, cooked them for me and brought them to me. How am I that lucky? Does anyone else feel guilty to have their partner running around after them like that? I am so grateful but feel like I don’t deserve to be waited on like this. He’s taking on almost all the cooking and cleaning too because I can’t stand the smell of food or cleaning products (bleach was the first thing to trigger my nausea before I even knew I was pregnant). He’s also still working full time while I’ve been off work sick for most of the week.

@Xur we have the same due date & it’s uncanny how similar our symptoms sound from this last week! Best of luck with the midwife appointment, hope you don’t get left waiting too long.
