Does anyone else have mild cramping or some pain like your period is going to start ? I’m so panicky , it’s like dull ache !

Shootystealy · 27/01/2024 18:55

@Ilovebees yeah me too. Cramps and the back pain I normally get

Roses5678 · 27/01/2024 19:28

Me too x

Nic2908 · 27/01/2024 19:43

@Ilovebees absolutely. I keep feeling really heavy and achy.

I can’t remember who asked about an early scan but I get one automatically as I had a loss at 16 weeks. It’s 27th February. Which is going to be a tough day as that’s also the same day last year I found out my daughter had to heart beat.

this is my 3rd pregnancy and I have a DS who is 3, also a December baby!! Both my other pregnancies I had early scans. I reccomend them. Feel like it helps me to bond if that makes any sense at all.

Ilovebees · 27/01/2024 20:45

@Nic2908 omg so sorry to hear you lost your daughter , I cannot imagine the pain ! Hopefully you’ll be blessed with this new rainbow baby 😍

malimoon · 27/01/2024 21:58

@Ilovebees I have been having mild but persistent lower back pain - a bit different to my usual period pain so hoping just showing that stuff is happening!

bringmorewashing · 27/01/2024 22:54

Yes, I've had it too on and off for about two.weeks now. Milder than usual period pains. It does make me slightly anxious but it seems to be common!

bringmorewashing · 27/01/2024 22:54

Sorry that was in response to @Ilovebees!

aussiegirl89 · 28/01/2024 02:54

Hey everyone, hope I'm ok to join.

Had a rocky old journey. 3 years of trying, 1 miscarriage and 1 ectopic, where i was also diagnosed with endo.. we did IVF in July and got 4 embryos but I also had OHSS and ended up in hospital 🙈 did our first FET on 15th Jan and it worked! So far so good 😅 feeling very anxious about this pregnancy lasting - but if all goes well the due date is October 3rd.

How is everyone coping with the TWW 2.0 waiting for the scan!

Ilovebees · 27/01/2024 17:54

I got the clear blue digital and I tested at 4+2 and got 2-3 weeks so that must mean the hcg must be at least i think 156 to get that . Hopefully it’s higher . I got one more to do next weekend hopefully get 3+ !

I am on this same train of thought! Bought a clear blue date test to see if it would be 2-3 weeks and show progression 🤞🏼

Ilovebees · 28/01/2024 05:24

@aussiegirl89 hey welcome , massive congrats to you ! I know ivf is a rough jorney ! Iv had ivf’s as well but no success yet but managed to fall pregnant naturally now just before starting my new ivf cycle next month !

and about the 2 week wait for scan - I really don’t know how I’m managing to wait , I think I’m too busy being anxious about something going wrong any minute that I’m living in the present ,literally , cannot dare to think 2 weeks in front xx I can’t even promise myself that tomorrow is all still ok with pregnancy 😄I’m living in fear , every minute . X

aussiegirl89 · 28/01/2024 06:00

@Ilovebees honestly same. My mantra atm is 'today I am pregnant' and just sitting with that. Wild that for everyone else time is passing by as normal but for us every day is an eternity!

PineappleBella · 28/01/2024 06:55

Anybody struggling with insomnia but extremely tired? I can’t seem to sleep!

nervousn3lly · 28/01/2024 07:06

@PineappleBella yes I'm with u there

PineappleBella · 28/01/2024 07:27

@nervousn3lly glad it’s not just me! I made the referral online to the midwives which has made everything feel real! Which is really crazy! I’m already looking at baby names 😂

MAY324 · 28/01/2024 07:31

I’ve just found this page whilst being unable to sleep! We were meant to go for bottomless brunch yesterday and I spontaneously decided to test. Got a faint line on a Superdrug test so then panicked and raided Tesco for more 😂 they were definitely positive!

this is my first time being pregnant and I’m soooooo nervous. When do you actually start getting excited? 🙈

PineappleBella · 28/01/2024 07:40

@MAY324 I think the first scan is where I got the most excited, because it really dawns on you what’s happening! I’m yet to tell my OH, I’m planning a valentines reveal to him! Pregnancy is amazing, and I actually think the best weeks are between 4-6 because after that I spend my entire pregnancies vomiting 🤮😂 it’s not morning sickness for me! More like all day and night sickness. Congratulations!!

MAY324 · 28/01/2024 07:41

You’re so patient but that will be amazing! I’ve always had ideas of how I’d tell him but ended up just going in and going IS THIS A LINE????? 😂

malimoon · 28/01/2024 07:44

@PineappleBella not insomnia exactly but I keep waking up at like 7am (with no alarm set) which is very unlike me, I'm not a morning person and usually have to drag myself out of bed after snoozing the alarm like five times. Don't know if it's a physical thing or just nerves about whether everything will be okay each day!

FantasticalCat · 28/01/2024 07:51

Hi ladies, congratulations to you all!

I found out two days ago I’m pregnant, due 4th October, is it ok if I join?

I’m 36, with PCOS but have managed to conceive on our 2nd cycle of trying for our first. Clear Blue says 2-3 weeks atm.

My boobs are sore and swollen and I’ve had a tender belly with some twinges so far.

Any tips on how to handle morning sickness if and when it kicks in?

aussiegirl89 · 28/01/2024 07:54

@FantasticalCat congratulations! It's my first too so can't advise on morning sickness but I hear ginger is good?

I've had twinges too - convinced everytime I feel one that it's all over 🙈🙃 but then I read it's your uterus growing so I feel a bit better about them now

MAY324 · 28/01/2024 07:59

I’ve just done another test and it was so much fainter than the ones I did yesterday. Feel like this isn’t a good sign 😭

Bb542 · 28/01/2024 08:21

Hi ladies,

Is it ok if I join you here on this thread? I'm only 9dpo but have very good lines on my pregnancy tests and a digital confirmed it this morning. I can't believe it. This is my first time being pregnant.

How is everyone feeling symptoms-wise? I've some cramping and little pains in my tummy, but I'm a bit anxious about the whole thing (I wanted this but I think now that it's real, I'm nervous and excited), so maybe that's why.

Hope everyone is well and looking forward to chatting with you all ❤️

pwblwc · 28/01/2024 08:49

@FantasticalCat I found with my last that eating little and often helped. I felt much worse when my stomach was empty. Also, really cold fizzy water helped me.

Nic2908 · 28/01/2024 08:52

With my first sucking on a hard boiled sweet really helped with the morning sickness, which was also not just morning sickness. I also found that having something as soon as I woke up helped. I had protein and nakd bars in my bedside table.

i think I had my first craving last night, I was going insane thinking about Doritos and dip 😂
