Definitely must be something in the water today ladies as I too woke up not feeling nauseous! I'm really trying to just be grateful of this and have enjoyed a nice breakfast but god it messes with your head doesn't it! I wish we had some sort of way of checking in on our little beans when we feel like this! X

emmatcc1 · 27/01/2024 10:38

I on the other hand almost threw up this morning and I would but couldnโ€™t on an empty stomach. Yesterday I was nauseous the whole day. If I truly had a missed miscarriage 3 weeks ago then my body is showing no sign of passing it. If anything my symptoms have been getting worse this past week. Wednesday canโ€™t come sooner to see if little one is growing.

Xur · 27/01/2024 10:46

@emmatcc1
yeah I also think if you would have had a MMC then By now the symptoms should have subsided. Fingers crossed for Wednesday. ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป
I also booked an another scan for this coming Wednesday. What keeps bothering me is that I am on progesterone so if something went sideways I might not have a clue, so I figured another scanโ€ฆeh..why not.

40andhopeful · 27/01/2024 11:22

Oh ladies, I'm the same with lack of symptoms today ๐Ÿ˜ฉ
The same happened yesterday but they had started coming back by this time.
And I just feel different today.

Acd21 · 27/01/2024 11:34

hey! So Iโ€™ve just found out a week ago that Iโ€™m pregnant with my first child! 6 weeks today!

as this is my first I have absolutely no idea what to do or what to expect! My first appointment isnโ€™t until late feb!

I have been experiencing slight bleeding and cramps, along with really sore breast but I have no other symptoms and Iโ€™m just elf wrong if thatโ€™s normal? Iโ€™ve read that there are many more symptoms I could be experiencing and Iโ€™m just wondering why Iโ€™ve not! Also the bleeding is really concerning me! Iโ€™ve called both my gp, maternity unit and out of hours but none of them have given me any information what so ever! I guess this is my last resort looking for info and reassurance from those who have experienced pregnancy!

thank you in advance!

Xur · 27/01/2024 11:49

@Acd21
hello and welcome!
Firstly, congratulations on your pregnancy!
Slight bleeding can be part of a normal and healthy pregnancy and it cannot. Many people say a sign of indication for one or the other would be the intensity, amount of blood, lenght of bleeding period as well as colour. The general notion is that you are hoping for a slight bleed, way smaller than period and ideally you donโ€™t want to see bright/fresh blood.
Cramps are normal. I had cramps and all sorts of pains and aches down there, mainly in week 4,5 and 6. If you read this thread you will see many ladies mention it.

rupertbear91 · 27/01/2024 12:29

Morning everyone. Feeling beyond exhausted here today but we told my parents this morning as they kept threatening to cancel their holiday as they could see I was unwell ๐Ÿ˜‚ they cried and they never cry at anything so are very excited. The dogs loved their bandanas. Just hoping next weeks scan shows everything is going ok ๐Ÿคž

@Acd21 im 6w1d and have very similar symptoms. I also had some spotting last week and cramps. I called epau and they were really reassuring. The spotting hasn't turned into anything and my tests are still dark so fingers crossed all is ok. Early pregnancy is so daunting! I use pregnancy affirmations to keep my anxiety in check and this might sound morbid but there's a miscarriage calculator you can check which will tell you the odds of not miscarrying. I check it every day to see the orecentage go down

siobhanmt247 · 27/01/2024 12:49

@rupertbear91 awe that's so cute. Sounds like a lovely day

HRP1990 · 27/01/2024 12:57

@rupertbear91 aw what a lovely way to tell your parents! I bet they were over the moon (and thrilled youโ€™re not ill) enough for them to still go away lol ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป for your scan next week

MrsB2019x · 27/01/2024 13:38

You ladies can have some of my nausea if you want, I have been out for a walk today and a man opened a dog poo bin next to me. My lunch nearly came up onto his shoes ๐Ÿคข

In all seriousness itโ€™s totally normal for symptoms to come and go, the placenta will be taking over soon and doing all the grafting ๐Ÿ’™

Fik88 · 27/01/2024 13:50

Its stange a lot of us have lost symptoms today, my nausea seems to have gone too and my boobs don't really feel that sore. I finally phoned my gp to refer me to a midwife, I have everything crossed i make it to 12 week scan and everything is fine this time

californiacooper · 27/01/2024 14:17

@everyone who has commented on symptoms.
I feel a tiny bit nauseous in the evening but only after dinner and if I wasn't pregnant I wouldn't even think anything of it.
My boobs are about 10% as sore as a normal period,
I have no other pain, just a bit of bloating. I'm hoping it's okay to not be feeling anything?
(I stayed away last night at a work thing so this morning was the first day I've not done a cheapie test to check)

Kate543 · 27/01/2024 15:03

@rupertbear91 that really is so cute!

I think itโ€™s normal for symptoms to come and go, although I wish I could stop feeling so nauseous all the time. I have started throwing up in the evenings again which was the same as my last pregnancy and last time lasted until like 17 weeks ๐Ÿคข I am ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป this time will be different

Xur · 27/01/2024 15:07

This week, on week 7 about 3 days I had barely any symptoms, like they were barely there on those days, but on the rest 4 days it was ugh, the nausea came in much stronger than week 6, like I was hardly holding back and the boobs were consistently sensitive which is unusual for me because I never get sensitive boobs around period. I hope this eases the ladies worried about inconsistent symptoms.

Cat2022 · 27/01/2024 15:14

@Kate543 I was the same last time remember being really sad after 14 weeks when I was still throwing up but stopped around 18 weeks.

Acd21 · 27/01/2024 15:40

Love this! I want to involve the pups in telling my family too๐Ÿฅฐ

Acd21 · 27/01/2024 15:46

Thanks! Itโ€™s not major cramp like I usually get itโ€™s just little twinges now and then, itโ€™s more traces of blood Iโ€™m getting in discharge (sorry for the tmi). Itโ€™s tricky to stay positive but doing my best๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป

HRP1990 · 27/01/2024 16:09

@Cat2022 @Kate543 did you go on to have girls by any chance? I was super sick with my daughter and havenโ€™t been yet (I know itโ€™s early days!) but wondering if it could mean a boy this time!

siobhanmt247 · 27/01/2024 16:23

@HRP1990 i was convinced my last one was a boy as I didn't really have many symptoms but it was a girl

Kate543 · 27/01/2024 16:26

@HRP1990 she is a girl yes ๐Ÿ˜„

Cat2022 · 27/01/2024 16:38

@HRP1990 also a girl so maybe!

HRP1990 · 27/01/2024 16:41

@Cat2022 @Kate543 wow that's so interesting! I know itโ€™s an old wives tale, but does sound like it could have weight to it in our cases.

On the other hand, I had no heartburn what so ever first time, and she was born with a rediculous amount of dark hair.

So, who knows!

WolfMother326 · 27/01/2024 16:44

Thanks everyone for the kind and encouraging words. I just feel so anxious because last time with my loss, my nausea going away was the biggest sign. I've also got a bit of cramping now. But no bleeding. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

TTCSoManyQuestions88 · 27/01/2024 16:53

Re the nausea, I've been having a glass of kefir first thing in the morning the last 3 days and it's really helped. Apparently peak nausea is week 8 and I'm almost week 9 so maybe that's why it's easing a bit?
