@MudandMoet @HRP1990 I love when they turn on each other randomly around the table and it’s gets savage 😂 I just always imagine (if no traitors get voted out) them all going back to the turret and being like “hey, wtf was that?” Looool.

I’d be no good at it. I smirk when I’m accused of something I genuinely haven’t done, so even being a faithful I’d be doomed.

@Bakerbean this is the thing, I already had two scans and both times afterwards I was satisfied for like 3 days and that’s it 😂
if I go for a 9 week scan I’ll be ok for a few days and want another one before NHS 12 week scan.
This jar has no bottom , it can’t be filled.
Some people are very good with going with the flow, even with things they care about. I am that type of a person, if I care about something and it’s personal…like in this case-I got no chill. Like I won’t moan that much, but deep inside me I’m 120% consumed by the wellbeing and health of the fetus, any bad scenarios I’ve heard and read about, any what if this- what if that.
Really it’s like OCD, I don’t have OCD but I know I am obsessing. And it’s not like there’s a reason for it, nothing has happened, but my brain has now unlocked like a new mode and switched to that.

@HoneyandSunshine I laugh under huge stress which is really inappropriate….

@Xur I hear you, 100%. It’s probably the most anxiety inducing emotional rollercoaster any of us will experience. I’ve been repeating affirmations to myself every day since reading someone talking about them on here. That’s helped settle me a little, just in giving me a little more faith and confidence in my body. But it doesn’t stop my brain obsessing over everything almost 24/7 too 🙈

@HoneyandSunshine that's the best bit when it's gets all savage! I love it. Ha! I'm the same I have a really bad nervous laugh so I'd be shit and get voted straight out 😂

@HolyMoly24 i think I'll probably be with you waiting until 12 weeks. With my first I thought I was safe going for a scan at 7 weeks and had that dreaded 2 weeks of uncertainty when I wasn't as far along as I should. I know it sounds really morbid but if the worst happens I will bleed eventually. Also, my partner won't let me have one lol

That's it, early scans can provide lots of reassurance but also potentially a lot of worry and often unnecessarily. What will be will be (I am trying to convince myself)

@californiacooper yeah good idea, I think it's definitely better to wait until 7 weeks if you can just as sometimes 6 weeks can be a bit early to fully see everything. But at 7 weeks you should be able to see heartbeat etc 🥰

I have my booking in appointment today!
And just had my letter through for my 12 week scan which will be 15th February - eeeeek! Feels so real, has anyone else got their NHS scan dates yet?

@ForeverHopeful67 oh my goodness that's amazing! Just a few weeks to go! I can't believe we're in the same group but having a 12 week scan seems sooo far away to me!!

I just received my NHS scan date today - 23rd feb. I’m so nervous. I had a NHS scan at 6 weeks where we saw a heart beat but I still have worries.

Thinking of getting private NIPT test. Only place I can find locally is ultrasounds direct. Anyone used them before?

@Khanga27 I’ve got a 7 week scan with them later today so will report back! Also planning to get NIPT via them. They were recommended by multiple mum friends.

Todays scan ladies - this one is at what I have been saying as 8+4 which is what I thought I was today, but the sonographer said I'm definitely measuring 9 weeks today. I've added my 6+4 pic from the other week so you can see the difference. Strong heartbeat and all looking perfectly fine.

For a few days I'll feel ecstatic then the worries will kick in again I'm sure. I called at maccys on my home as the cravings kicked in (of course they did 😏) so was munching 2 large boxes of salty fries rocking down the motorway! 😁🍟😁🍟

Aw that’s amazing @MudandMoet and even better than you’re measuring ahead! Do you have a new estimated due date? I’m going to have to join you on a maccys run tonight, after Pilates. Healthy eating just isn’t measuring up like it used to 🥹 I wonder if my partner will feed me fries in bed (instead of grapes) 😂
