Hello everyone just found out today I’m pregnant after 17 long cycles of trying. I’m 4 weeks and already so nauseous.

@TTCnewbies im so sorry for your loss. Take care of yourself x

Fik88 · 14/01/2024 09:35

@TTCnewbies I'm so sorry for your loss, I know how devastating it is. Take care of yourself and Good Luck for when you do decide to try again xx

ForeverHopeful67 · 14/01/2024 09:45

@Xur I used to get this when I was pregnant with my first! - be warned it ramps up even more towards the end of your pregnancy 🤣 I still think that's the reason I had her two weeks early!!

@TTCnewbies so sorry for your loss 😔 thinking of you!

I've woken up feeling super anxious this morning 😔 I feel like most my symptoms have disappeared, I've felt nauseous most days since I've found out and woke feeling fine today and now can't help but fear the worst! Pregnancy eh the only time you'd feel upset that you're not feeling sick 🤣😅

siobhanmt247 · 14/01/2024 09:51

@ForeverHopeful67 it's rubbish isn't it. One day I feel awful and think yep this is it, I'm pregnant and then the next they disappear and I drive myself insane taking 5 tests a day. I remember symptons would come and go with my first though so try to stay positive

@Xur i wouldn't mind an orgasm in my sleep. How far along are you? Lol

emmatcc1 · 14/01/2024 10:33

@Xur I had that happen a few days ago and it was intense lol. Cramps after are completely normal and nothing to worry about.

@siobhanmt247
I am 6 weeks now, today is spot on six weeks. I have a private scan on Tuesday. Looking forward to it with both fear and excitement. The suspense is real lol

MudandMoet · 14/01/2024 11:00

I'm super jealous of these intense orgasms that seem to be happening to you girls in your sleep! We had sex last night and because I was (secretly) so anxious again about 'depth' I didn't even reach orgasm or come close 🤦🏼‍♀️ though it might have come across that I had 😏

siobhanmt247 · 14/01/2024 11:12

@Xur good luck. I think I'm going to wait until 12 weeks but it's so very far away!

SouthwestSis · 14/01/2024 11:15

Help please from those with experience of chemical pregnancies.
I got a bit freaked out when I had a day without nausea earlier this week. Did a clearblue on Thurs and was sad to see it said only 1-2 weeks (was expecting at least 2-3 weeks as I was 4+6 by my dates and was reasonably certain as I was LH testing)
I made myself wait until this morning to test again, period is now 11 days late, would be 5+2 by dates, havr had several positive tests ith some line progression, not even a spot of bleeding and have had some symptoms like back aching last couple of days.
This morning clearblue says "not pregnant" :(

Should I be expecting bleeding soon? Could this be a weird ectopic? Should I be calling the GP tomorrow and asking to be seen in EPU?

Starlight11111 · 14/01/2024 11:35

@SouthwestSis oh I am sorry lovely, this sounds really tough. Have you been testing with any other tests, I ask as they're a bit easier to compare lines. Was it FMU you tested with today, and if not that might make a difference. My experience with my chemical was fading tests (they were only ever light anyway) then bleeding started. Sending hugs xxx

emmatcc1 · 14/01/2024 11:39

@SouthwestSis So sorry to hear this. I agree with pp maybe line tests would be better. Definitely worth giving a call to find out what’s going on.

Got my 3+ this morning which is a relief. Just hoping my lack of symptoms just means I'm a lucky one so far!

Xur · 14/01/2024 12:13

@siobhanmt247
me and my partner are control freaks, we always need to have information on what’s going on so we have this scan on Tuesday and then following Thursday, on the following week we have another one. In 2 weeks time I have a meeting with midwife.
We are both already in thirties so we feel like time is ticking you know. Plus he wants me to have the scans to shut me up and stop freaking out over 58 bad scenarios in my head. I’ve not been pregnant before or miscarried but if I would have this experience I would be even worse with overthinking. I got no chill so to say.

Catrinka · 14/01/2024 12:15

Hi everyone.
my estimate is 6+2 and had an early scan today.
unfortunately iv been told I have a “pregnancy in unknown location”
sonographer said this means either too early in pregnancy, not progressing as it should be or ectopic. Been referred to hospital but they don’t take referrals at weekend so waiting game.
trying to keep positive I’m just too early but I’m very regular with my period so think this is unlikely.
no spotting/ bleeding so this has come as a surprise really.
hoping for a miracle but now stuck in limbo.

siobhanmt247 · 14/01/2024 12:20

So sorry to hear that @Catrinka even the people with the most regular periods can have a bit of a delayed ovulation occasionally. Hopefully early pregnancy get you in for a scan quickly. Fingers crossed

@Xur im the one with no chill and he's all chill lol. Enjoy the scans

SouthwestSis · 14/01/2024 12:26

@Nic17 yeah I had used a couple of Boots own early response ones and had been getting line progression.
It was FMU yeah.
Think I will buy another line test today to do with FMU tomorrow and then ring the GP if I haven't got any bleeding by then.
Not ideal as I'm starting nightshifts tomorrow. Could do without miscarrying in the middle of a shift.

Hi all, an update from me. Sadly pregnancy not viable and I've had a miscarriage. I wish you all the best in your journeys and congrats to all! I'm going to leave this thread now and head back over to the TTC board for when we try again. Much love ❤️

I'm so sorry for your loss, take care of yourself🤍

ForeverHopeful67 · 14/01/2024 14:44

@MudandMoet hahaha that really made me chuckle! The things we do to get by eh 🤣

@TTCnewbies so sorry for your loss 😔 take care of yourself!

@siobhanmt247 thank you! I've felt a little nauseous this afternoon so trying to take that as a good sign, decided to tidy the house to keep my mind busy - house has never looked so clean!! How are you doing with your symptoms now?

Lemonyfire · 14/01/2024 15:08

@TTCnewbies so sorry for your loss xxx

@SouthwestSis in a similar situation, got my 3+ on Wednesday but after my scan yesterday I stupidly took the last one in my pack and it said 2-3 😫 hope you’re okay. I’m so anxious i’m making things so much worse for myself

Lisswiss24 · 14/01/2024 15:11

Just got a clear positive yesterday 😄 Due around Sep 18th- would love to join a fb group if you're still accepting people?

siobhanmt247 · 14/01/2024 15:31

@ForeverHopeful67 just feel a bit weak and queezy today. Only done 2 tests today 🙈

MudandMoet · 14/01/2024 15:35

@TTCnewbies ahhh I'm so sorry 😢 Wishing you a speedy sticky bean asap - take care xx

MudandMoet · 14/01/2024 15:39

@ForeverHopeful67 honestly what with that and then all the other fibs to friends and family right now I feel like a right fraudster!

I actually have felt a tiny bit nauseous today, not gagging or anything but just a funny sickly feeling. It definitely eases when I'm eating or full. Hope it doesn't get worse and I'm shit at being sick!

MrsB2019x · 14/01/2024 16:39

@TTCnewbies I’m so sorry for your loss 🩷 please be gentle with yourself xx

@SouthwestSis Sorry for what you’re going through, hopefully tomorrow’s test will bring you some more clarity

@Catrinka Hope the hospital goes well next week, keep us posted xx

Starlight11111 · 14/01/2024 17:29

@SouthwestSis good plan to test with FMU tomorrow, keep us posted. Got everything crossed for you. Xx
