Hello everyone just found out today I’m pregnant after 17 long cycles of trying. I’m 4 weeks and already so nauseous.

@HoneyandSunshine I freaking love pilates, I love that it feels the perfect mix of relaxing/stretching and challenging/building your core. I went consistently after having my first and it really helped me get back in shape and rehab after a 3rd degree tear, I really noticed myself improving.
Have had about a year off going so am re-learning the ropes, but I slept loads better after an evening class last week which was lovely.
Each class is £10 so not the cheapest form of exercise but it's something I feel motivated to do which is half the battle isn't it!

WolfMother326 · 13/01/2024 18:39

@HoneyandSunshine we will definitely be finding out but I think my husband and I might keep it a secret from others and say we are waiting. With our first we didn't find out and then I had to have extra scans. At 24 weeks the person doing it said 'and there are the testicle!' So it kinda let the cat out of the bag haha. I'd rather know but my husband wanted to be surprised, I couldn't really keep it from him after that.

Fik88 · 13/01/2024 18:42

We will also be finding out, we already have a boy and a girl (which we kept as surprises) we want to be organised as we might have to swap bedrooms around

Xur · 13/01/2024 18:45

@doitjustice95
Im sorry to disappoint, but as the pregnancy goes on the gas is going to increase. You will be farting non stop like a gas machine.
I had the worst trapped wind pain today evening, with all the travelling I held a lot in and wearing tight jeans did me no favours. It was so bad I had to go lay down even and wait for it to move

MrsB2019x · 13/01/2024 19:04

@Lemonyfire I guess private places are in it for the money ☹️ but if your cycle fluctuates that’s quite reassuring as your dates could be a little bit off

ForeverHopeful67 · 13/01/2024 19:59

Evening everyone 😊 hope it's okay for me to tentatively join!
Found out on Wednesday that I'm pregnant, not totally sure on my dates as I have PCOS so cycle is all over the place, due date ranges from 25th august - 3rd September! 😅 making me between 6-8 weeks.

Second pregnancy, my first born is 3 in March ( think I read another poster here has a March child too!)

Is anyone still feeling any cramps / lower tummy pressure / aches?

xx

Sarah452 · 13/01/2024 21:07

Hi all, hope it’s ok to join, I’ve just found out I’m pregnant with baby number two. Really early days (9dpo!) so praying it sticks and I’ll be due end of Sep!! 🤞

Chaz693 · 13/01/2024 21:23

I keep going back and forth on booking an early scan. Part of me wants to live in the bliss of thinking everything is okay. But then part of me wants to know that everything is going okay lol! Can't decide. Keep telling myself that if I get past 7 weeks I'll book a scan! But that feels so far away lol! X

MudandMoet · 13/01/2024 22:22

@HoneyandSunshine we will be finding out definitely. We'll be having the NIPT test around 12 weeks so will maybe get to find out around then.

Welcome new ladies! Lots more September babies on the way 🎉 🩷🩵

Congratulations 🤍, it is normal to have cramps I was worried at first (first pregnancy this is for me). But I've had reassurance thar it's normal🙂

@RoSco197 id love to join the FB group (albeit it’s very early days for me) but having a similar issue to some of the others in that the link takes me to the homepage - I’ll PM you hope that’s ok!

You are only a few days behind me I'm 12dpo today. Have had a horrific migraine since the morning of my positive that won't clear and some cramping on and off. It's hard not to worry!

Sarah452 · 14/01/2024 07:01

@rupertbear91 sorry to hear about the migraines, hope they ease off soon! I am also cramping on and off and have been since ovulation which is actually what indicated to me that I might be pregnant as usually I just cramp at ovulation and then nothing and then AF turns up with no warning! I am trying to wean off coffee slowly - I have a 1.5 year old who still has me up 5 times a night so no idea how I’ll function without it 😂

Xur · 14/01/2024 07:02

Good morning,
sooo…this is a bit weird but is now the second time it has happened.
I woke up last night, from an orgasm in a dream and it was straight up followed by cramps in my abdomen.
I had this once last week, this is the second time.
Anyone had this before?

Thanks it's so hard when you can't take drugs to shift it! If it's not gone tomorrow I am going to see if the gp can help. It can't be good for the baby me being in so much pain!
Oh wow I don't envy you that I am tired after my 7 hours sleep at the minute 😂 this is our first baby

Could you have actually orgasmed in real life? Because when I did a few days ago it gave me horrific cramps! Don't fancy doing it again 🤦🏽‍♀️

Xur · 14/01/2024 07:16

@rupertbear91
yeah it was an actual orgasm but not from having sex but random…from like hormonal changes or whatever, it wasn’t even a sexual dream. I just woke up and was having an actual orgasm and cramps straight afterwards. This is ridiculous I swear. Wet dreams 😂

rupertbear91 · 14/01/2024 07:25

My stress brain has done a line comparison. This is 10dpo (top) to this morning at 12dpo... does this look ok?

@rupertbear91 yeah definitely worth a doctors visit they may be able to give you something that is safe to take. It’s probably your hormones doing their thing which is a positive sign but not great for you suffering 😟 pregnancy is a wild rollercoaster of strange symptoms I found last time - fortunately I didn’t suffer with morning sickness and the different symptoms I got lasted a couple of weeks before new ones appeared 😂

Morning all! Feel like I've been hit by a truck this morning. Fatigue and body aches baaaaad, like flu bad. Taking it as a sign of things progressing though 🤞🏻💕

If we're lucky enough to get that far we will definitely be doing NIPT and finding out the sex!

@rupertbear91 line progression looks good!! My easy at home tests took a good few days to start getting darker.

Cat2022 · 14/01/2024 08:51

@rupertbear91 your lines look like mine did at the same dpo, I’m now 18dpo and they are proper dark. I have a 10.5 month old who still wakes in the night - got a 6 hour stretch last night though which is much better than usual. Iv had tension headaches the past week not found anything that helps yet other than lying down which I can’t do much.

Cat2022 · 14/01/2024 08:51

I have such a stuffy nose it’s driving me crazy. Hoping this is a symptom that gets better soon.

TTCnewbies · 14/01/2024 08:52

Hi all, an update from me. Sadly pregnancy not viable and I've had a miscarriage. I wish you all the best in your journeys and congrats to all! I'm going to leave this thread now and head back over to the TTC board for when we try again. Much love ❤️

Starlight11111 · 14/01/2024 08:55

@TTCnewbies I am so sorry. Take care of yourself lovely I know the pain. ❤️
