Hi New Ladies... congratulations on your positives! Xx

@Khanga27 I'm the same dates as you, 6 weeks tomorrow. I also have the same feelings (as do a lot of us on here) with worry about not seeing anything after previous miscarriages. Fingers crossed for you on Wednesday, I've got my appointment with the MW on Wednesday and therefore it's likely I'll be scanned within a few days of then.

@Bearcub01 same dates as you too, I also don't feel pregnant at all. I just want to feel a little nauseous or tired or something! I'm sure we're fine but you can't help but worry xx

Hi everyone.
tested positive on Thursday.
iv only done one test, never heard of line progression before! Should I do more tests?

In have an 8 year old daughter so quite an age gap. Iv just entered the awfully named “geriatric” age group too -35.
readings stats etc is making me so anxious - I too check the tissue constantly.

my first pregnancy was very sore boobs and wind - this time is just the wind! Getting lots of pains from gas and burping constantly haha. Had to order some emergency leggings for work on Monday as stomach is so bloated my jeans won’t do up 🤣

iv just requested to join the group 😊

Juno231 · 06/01/2024 22:44

@RoSco197 thank you for sharing the link - it's not working for me so I wonder if the 20 limit got hit really quickly? I'll keep trying though

Lemonyfire · 06/01/2024 22:50

@Catrinka congratulations!
i’ve also got an age gap ( 11yr old and 8 yr old) and am 35 so feels very different now!

re testing- if you don’t feel the need to obsessively test like me- don’t. You’ll avoid a whole heap of stress. A positive is a positive :)

Catrinka · 06/01/2024 22:55

Ah we are similar then 😊
visited a friend with a baby and 8 year old was so loving, reading them a book etc. she’s been asking for a sibling for years - can’t wait to tell her!

Differenday · 07/01/2024 00:49

Congratulations! I’m also due September 💕

Willow89 · 07/01/2024 07:13

Just requested to join the group.

@Catrinka yes I've a large gap also, 13 years! I can't remember early in my1st pregnancy at all so this all feels very new. Im 34 so definitely different to when I was 20😂

I'm 5w+1d today the time is dragging, I've an early scan on the 19th of January.

Have very sore boobs, heartburn and small bit of nausea in the evenings

Aww, lush! I have a 2 and a 3 (soon to be 4) year old 💜

WolfMother326 · 07/01/2024 10:04

Hello everyone. I got another 2-3 week test today, I really need to stop as its made me quite worried, I got the same result 7 days ago on Sunday last week. I hope it's not a bad sign.

MudandMoet · 07/01/2024 11:44

I tested again this morning too! Last one though because I'm all out of digitals and this was just at the bottom of my little pregnancy basket so thought may as well (also no symptoms so just needed to see)

Starlight11111 · 07/01/2024 12:04

@WolfMother326 don't read into it at all, so many variable factors and the weeks aren't always accurate.

@MudandMoet this has to be the strongest line I've ever seen!

MrsB2019x · 07/01/2024 12:32

@WolfMother326 It’s so easy to get caught in that trap isn’t it. It’s not an exact science, I’m sure everything is fine! I can‘t remember do you have an early scan booked?

@MudandMoet No mistaking that is there!

WolfMother326 · 07/01/2024 12:37

@Nic17 and @MrsB2019x thanks for the reply. I did look in the test and the line wasn't very dark, trying not to be too worried. I do have an early scan at EPU on Tuesday but I think I'll only be 5+2 so not sure there will be much reassurance. I think having just had a loss I'm probably worrying too much.

Megan004 · 07/01/2024 12:38

Looks like a great line I would say!! @MudandMoet

Another avid tester here, well every other day, I don’t see the harm really if it helps put our mind at ease. Apart from possibly the financial downside of buying tests 😂 I got a 3+ yesterday so I am going to stop now 🙈

Couldn’t sleep last night as I had horrible upper/mid back ache last night which was odd not sure if pregnancy related or not. Also a bit of nausea, but feeling better today just very tired. Hope everyone else is doing okay!

MrsB2019x · 07/01/2024 13:07

@WolfMother326 I had a scan at 5+2 with DD and they saw the gestational sac and the beginnings of the yolk sac, if that helps with expectations when you go in. She then measured ahead for the rest of the pregnancy though

SC126 · 07/01/2024 13:17

Serial tester here too. But think I'm just about ready to stop testing. I might do another digital next week in hopes of seeing a 3+. According to app I'm 4+1 weeks but I know I ovulated 2-3 days early so I think I'm a few days later in reality. Symptom wise though Ive got nothing but slightly sore boobs. Never thought Id wish for some nausea but I kinda do 🤣

Hi all! Tentatively joining this group if that's okay? Currently due around 17th September.

I got a vvvfl 04/01/2024 and got my BFP 05/01/2024. I had intense cramping eve of 03/02/2024 and seriously through AF had arrived 04/01/2024 because of how intense the cramping was. Got up to check and no sign of AF at all. Did the test and nearly fell over with shock as it was our first time TTC, I'm 35 and neither of my ovulation trackers detected ovulation last month!

Implantation cramping lasted just those two and a half days. AF was due today, but thankfully so sign. I'm extremely excited, but also very nervous. Hubs and I are so aware of how fragile everything is for now. Several of our friends have had multiple losses, as well as both my mum and Hubs' mum before we were born. We are absolutely aching to tell people as this would be the first grandchild on both sides, but we are too cautious for now.

Lovely to see lots of other ladies expecting around the same time and going through the same things 😊.

Congratulations! I am also due around mid September all going well. I'm a bit more cautious as I had 2 miscarriages, last in October, but also 2 healthy children with straight forward pregnancies.
I probably won't rush telling people, but also found it helpful to have hassupport when the worst happen. So, it's up to you, either way is ok!

Fawklight · 07/01/2024 16:16

@KittyFantastica it's so great you've joined from our old little TTC group. I hope the others join us soon. ☺️

siobhanmt247 · 07/01/2024 16:55

Hi everyone. I'm tentatively stepping my foot in... Got a very faint line at 9dpo. Wasn't going to test so early but just had a feeling so it's too late now. I'm 37 with a 13 month old. Had an mmc so before so trying not to get my hopes up
I started a special greens powder and myo-insitol a few weeks ago as really focusing on running and weight training. Do I just carry on with that all?

KittyFantastica · 07/01/2024 17:03

@Nyckol Thank you! Same to you! So sorry to hear of your previous experience, I can't even say how much I hope no one here ever has to go through that, nor go through it again. Thank you for validating how difficult it can be to hold off telling someone too. It's really valuable to hear others say that either choice is the right one depending on the person. I'm a people pleaser and it's the idea of having to go back and tell people it's bad news after giving them good news that gives me the most pause. I've really struggled not to tell both our mums because I know they would want to support us in the case of a worst case scenario, but it's a tough one.

@Fawklight Thank you! So lovely to see a familiar... face? 🤣 Or rather user name.

Fawklight · 07/01/2024 17:17

@siobhanmt247 I'm an avid gym user too. It's something to discuss with the midwife. However, I'm still training but I'm not pushing it. I pace my running so I'm not out of breath and do weights I'm comfortable with just not addin any more. I've also stopped sit-ups and any training that involves crunching my stomach. Though at the he moment I'm just to tired to do anything 😭

Most say you can continue with exercise you did prior to pregnancy it just needs to be slightly adjusted. But check in with the midwife when you see her.
