Hello everyone just found out today I’m pregnant after 17 long cycles of trying. I’m 4 weeks and already so nauseous.

@3ornotto3 thanks so much that’s really reassuring!! The day before I found out I was pregnant with my first I had been drinking at a wedding and was so worried but my midwife was very reassuring - this time I feel bad as I know, and still chose to take the meds if that makes sense!!
im going to take another digital today- it’s been 8 days since I took one and hoping to see progression but very nervous as boobs no longer sore

ApplePie86 · 06/01/2024 09:48

Oh my goodness, I think I may be joining you all!! After getting positive tests on NYE/1st/2nd, I decided they were false (I actually do produce false positives due to cysts) as they were getting lighter, not darker.

Missed a day or 2 then continued testing and it was getting slightly darker but really not much. Did a digital and clear blue this morning and OMG - 2-3 weeks!!

I had completely ruled myself out as I didn't get ovulation pain (I always do!) and didn't get a positive OPK and only DTD 2 days in a row and that was it this month.

On top of all this it took 5 years to conceive our daughter and I've only had 2 periods post partum due to breastfeeding and PCOS.

Everything crossed this is going to stick! I'm taking a guess that I may be due around 4th September however due to an interesting delivery with my daughter I suspect I'll be encouraged to consider early induction!

Genuinely can't believe it!!!

@Jeyla1230 could it be round ligament pain? I had random pain in all of my pregnancies that was fine and have had random sharp pains when moving or bending that is round ligament pain. Sharp but subsides. I think a certain amount of mild discomfort around ovaries is normal too. I think it’s a good sign it only lasted a short time xxx

It could be, this is my first time pregnancy so just worried about any pain. But you have put me at ease so thank you🤍. Feeling all sorts its strange 😂.

Good luck today🙏hope it does go OK. My boobs isn't as sore as they was but I am still pregnant. Symptoms can come and go

Lemonyfire · 06/01/2024 10:21

@ApplePie86 congratulations!!!

@Jeyla1230 totally understandable to be nervous about random pains- especially if you’ve not felt them before :)

my clear blue digital said 2-3, my one on the 28th said 1-2 so glad for progression but was hoping for 3+ as I’m 5+2. May do another in a few days 😬

I did the same today! I feel like it was dark “enough” then I doubt myself like, is it? I hate this waiting game 🥲

3ornotto3 · 06/01/2024 10:23

@Lemonyfire I also did a digital on Monday and Thursday - both said 2-3 weeks so like you, just waiting for that 3+ before I can fully “relax” 🫠 hahah

SC126 · 06/01/2024 10:33

My test went from 1-2 to 2-3 this morning. Technically from dates I'm only 4 weeks today but I know I ovulated early this month so I suspect I'm more like 4+3

SouthwestSis · 06/01/2024 10:42

I've done another test this morning and had some line progression so am now allowing myself to hope!
Now that we've found it trickier to conceive #2 I'm not sure I'll mind so much if/when I start having nausea and vomiting.
The urge to start planning for a maternity leave is so real!

Lemonyfire · 06/01/2024 10:49

@SouthwestSis I feel you with this! Especially since I’m really not enjoying my job at the moment!

Starlight11111 · 06/01/2024 12:02

Yay for new positives and lines progressing!!!!! 🙏🏻🩷

I also had some line progression today finally and got 2-3 weeks on a digital yesterday at 4+3 which reassured me a little. In my previous pregnancy I didn't get 2-3 until just over 5w.

Hope you all have a great day ladies!x

WolfMother326 · 06/01/2024 12:35

Ok I'm glad I logged in because I'm feeling like a nutcase for testing so much. I got a 2-3 week last Sunday, and then another on Thursday and this morning. I wasn't sure when I ovulated. So if I get a 3+ tomorrow I'll stop testing and assume I'm 5 weeks. I know I need to relax 😅

MrsB2019x · 06/01/2024 13:15

@ApplePie86 Congratulations! We share a due date ☺️

The temptation to carry on testing is unreal. My husband looked at me like I had 2 heads when I wanted to do a second digital to see progression so don’t think I’ll do a third 😂

SC126 · 06/01/2024 13:37

@MrsB2019x my husband thinks I'm nuts too but I've got tons I'd cheapo tests and what he doesn't know wont kill him 🤣 it makes me feel better seeing the lines come up!

Thank you!

I haven't even told my husband yet 😂

We go on holiday tomorrow for a few nights for our daughter's 2nd birthday and I've bought some "you're going to be a big sister" books and will use that to tell him...or rather she will 😂

LilSebastianMiniHorse · 06/01/2024 18:09

Congratulations everyone ☺️ I got my BFP at 11dpo yesterday and according to my Flo app I’m due 17th September. I was getting very stressed after 7 unsuccessful cycles so I’m very excited!

Juno231 · 06/01/2024 18:28

Hi! I got my BFP yesterday as well at 12dpo, putting my EDD at 15/09 I think. Fourth cycle so it's come as a shock as it took 24 cycles for our first child. She'll be 2 years 1 month when this one arrives, which is slightly terrifying!

I was part of an MN group like this in 2022 and it was so good - we migrated to an FB group eventually and started a whatsapp group which is still super active every day! Hoping to find a great bunch of ladies on here this time around as well!

Khanga27 · 06/01/2024 18:59

A bit nervous about this. MMC in August. Positive test 21st December and 5+6 today. After last time I can’t feel excited about it and even posting here is weird. We have early scan at EPU Wednesday when I’m 6+3. So nervous we won’t see anything with how early it is and that gives me more anxiety.

MrsB2019x · 06/01/2024 19:40

Welcome and congratulations to all newbies 😍

@Khanga27 I’m sorry for your loss. There are a few of us on here who have had previous losses so you’re in good company. I feel the same as you, almost like I can’t fully invest myself in this yet.

Bearcub01 · 06/01/2024 20:17

@Juno231 we have a Facebook group set up by @RoSco197 not sure if the link still works from this thread.

Juno231 · 06/01/2024 20:19

Oh thank you @Bearcub01 - I'd be keen to join if possible @RoSco197

Bearcub01 · 06/01/2024 20:20

I’m 6 weeks tomorrow and getting worried about lack of symptoms. I had HG in my last pregnancy and was beyond ill by this point so I should be thankful I have nothing so far but also, worried I don’t feel pregnant!

Nyckol · 06/01/2024 20:35

Hello Everyone! Hope I can join in :) this is my test from this morning, I'm CD 24, but my cycles are 24-28 days.
I had a miscarriage in Octomber, so more cautious.
I do have 2 children, And I know it's possible.

This sounds lovely! @RoSco197 actually set up a Facebook group, if you wanted to join? I don’t know how to share the link, maybe she can reshare it with you ❤️
