Anyone want to join me? I'm likely jumping the gun as I have a history of reoccurring loss but it always helps me to chat as if it really will work out this time 🤞🏼❤️

@soscarlet I never thought I'd say this but I'm actually jealous of those who have nausea 😆 other than tiredness I have zero symptoms and due to my lack of symptoms I'm really struggling to believe I'm even pregnant and all I keep seeing is that symptoms are a healthy sign.
I had a scan a week ago and all was well but the lack of symptoms just gives me really bad anxiety as I feel I can't tell if anything changes.

Singleorigincoffee · 08/12/2023 20:29

8 weeks now since my last post and still as nauseous as ever and even more tired. And 2yo has picked this week to keep waking up from night terrors...

EmmzRB · 08/12/2023 22:26

@MoonIightDreamer I am with you 😅. Fatigue is doing me over but everything else I've had a sprinkle of but nothing crazy. Even today I thought I was feeling stuff because of pregnancy. Nope I have a UTI.

12 week scan though ... it'll feel real then 😊

ceruleansky · 09/12/2023 00:53

@CMRC17
Thanks, I needed to hear that! I guess everyone is different in terms of what they experience.. 0 symptoms her whole pregnancy!! Wow! How are you doing? How far along are you?

I definitely feel dizzy from time to time and fall asleep randomly in the middle of the day so those are my symptoms!

missmoosh · 09/12/2023 09:26

Probably having a panic over nothing, but my rather chonky cat jumped full force on me right in my pelvic area last night, really hurt! Then this morning my Samsung watch which tracks temps (I'm not actively tracking) showed a 0.4 drop from 36.9 to 36.5 and all my symptoms seem to have vanished. So worried and not sure what to do. We have family over all day, so got to pretend I'm all good when I am spiralling

Ingridika · 09/12/2023 11:02

Hi everyone. Can I join you? Due 8th July, but had 2 missed miscarriages this week, so really scared to have another one.
have everything crossed for this time to be lucky!

Savvy21 · 09/12/2023 11:13

@missmoosh I have a toddler trying to jump on me daily who probably weighs more than your cat. I'm also pretty sure I read somewhere that temperature tracking doesn't matter after you've tested positive for pregnancy.
Edited to say try not to worry but I know it is hard.

Outliers · 09/12/2023 11:14

Currently 7+1.

Nausea been hitting hard all week. Experiencing some spotting but trying not to panic as had this with my first DC (18months now and has been screaming all morning).

missmoosh · 09/12/2023 12:57

@Savvy21 thank you that's reassuring, I know it's probably fine! Just anxiety! Got my early scan Friday so will find out then

Thenatcheshire · 09/12/2023 16:31

Anyone in here have positive stories about quadruplets?? Triplets, or twins. Empty sacs that go on to grow babies??

LStar1 · 09/12/2023 17:51

Hi @Ingridika

Saw your post I’m also due on the 8th July and had a MMC in August this year.
Have you had any scans yet x

soon2be6 · 09/12/2023 19:49

Anyone due 22nd july? I had an early scan on Wednesday, saw a strong heartbeat and everything’s as good as can be at this stage! Cant wait until my 12 week one now! Are you all planning on finding out the sex of your babies? X

FigandHoney · 09/12/2023 20:31

Hello ladies. Had our early private scan today. Saw one baby with a heartbeat. Thought I was 7 weeks 5 days but baby measure 8 weeks 3 days. So 5 days ahead.

@soon2be6 yes definitely planning to find out the gender. Already impatient to do so

Due July 24
soon2be6 · 09/12/2023 21:16

@FigandHoney awww how lovely! Your scan is so clear!
Same here, I cant wait to find out! This will be our last baby so my husband wants to wait for the suprise.. I just cant lol x

MummyBear2519 · 09/12/2023 21:31

@soon2be6 yes definitely finding out the genders. I already have 1 of each so really want to know if it’s 2 boys or 2 girls but don’t mind either way. My OH only has nieces so think his family will hope them are boys

Moudy · 10/12/2023 07:38

@soon2be6 Also due 22nd July 😊
Our hospital had a 4 week self referral backlog so I knew I wouldn't get an appointment anytime soon so went ahead and booked an early scan and blood test to find out baby's sex.
We've just found out we're having a baby boy! So excited as I already have 2 girls and 1 boy so this will be our family complete 🥰.
I have a midwife appointment on 22nd December and a scan on 9th January where I think I'll be 12 weeks?
Never suffered with sickness with my other 3 but this time round I've had morning sickness and insomnia, always hungry but no appetite 😫

trebuvie · 10/12/2023 09:58

@soon2be6 I'm due on 23 July! (Although I'm a bit unsure of my dates and it might be a few days later, waiting for my first scan to get a more accurate date)

Definitely will want to find out the sex beforehand. We have a favourite girls name and keep referring to the baby as that - we're just convinced in our minds it's a girl so if it's not I'll need the lead time to adjust haha

Ingridika · 10/12/2023 11:45

@LStar1 yes, i had 2 scans already, but gives me no reassurance.
i have started spotting today, accompanied by lower back ache and tummy ache. It is pretty much how it started the first time…
did you have any scans yet?

LStar1 · 10/12/2023 12:18

Hi @Ingridika sounds like we are in the same boat. I have had a 6 week and 8 week scan and seemed ok I do have another scan this week. I have had awful lower back ache all weekend with loss of other symptoms and cant help but think the worse. The mmc I had in August was due to a molar pregnancy and I didn't find out until the 12 week scan. From other things I've read sometimes lower back pain is due to the body stretching im hoping that's the case for us both. Do you have a date for your next scan?

Ingridika · 10/12/2023 13:12

@LStar1 i have a scan booked on Tuesday, but want to try to get one tomorrow. Was hesitant to go to hospital today, as super busy weekend with children and did not want to ruin it after hearing the terrible news. Do you have period like pain as well?

missmoosh · 10/12/2023 15:54

Went for an early scan today as I was still panicked, measured 6+5 and saw the little heartbeat flickering away!!

Oatmilktea · 10/12/2023 16:20

Has anyone taken sick leave at work due to the way they’ve been feeling in early pregnancy? I feel so nauseous and exhausted all the time and it’s making me feel really miserable! I’m taking anti sickness tablets the GP prescribed and they’re making me feel even more exhausted.

I work in quite a high pressure job and really don’t feel like I have it in me to go in next week but I hate letting people down as I’m in a small team and have my own targets to reach etc. Does anyone have any advice?

Savvy21 · 10/12/2023 16:23

@missmoosh glad that you were able to get some reassurance.
@Oatmilktea is this your first pregnancy? If life has taught me anything it's to take care of your own health and family first. Harsh as it sounds at work you are replaceable so don't worry. I don't think anyone else does!

Oatmilktea · 10/12/2023 16:29

@Savvy21 it is my first pregnancy (I really feel for those who already have kids but feel like this and don’t have the option of calling in sick from parenting!).

Thanks for your advice!

EmmzRB · 10/12/2023 16:40

@Oatmilktea I'm struggling work wise too. In constant back to back meetings and high pressure environment and my head just feels scrambled all the time at the moment. Also have a really long commute.

I've booked the odd extra day off the past week and going to do it again this week. Anything just to get to the proper Christmas break. Do you think you will take a few extra days? I feel like once you tell people the real reason after your 12 weeks scan it will make way more sense.
