Anyone want to join me? I'm likely jumping the gun as I have a history of reoccurring loss but it always helps me to chat as if it really will work out this time 🤞🏼❤️

Apart from sore boobs, I don't really feel pregnant. Definitely feeling anxious and desperate to have more symptoms! Not sure how I'll navigate Christmas parties either, not drinking but not ready to tell people either. Having a loss makes me feel more anxious about telling work colleagues and family I only see at Christmas.

@Tammy2603
Hey ❤️ I love that a lot of us here are practically days apart!
I completely relate to this which is why I am so unsure if I am going to go for it. Thank you for sharing!!! Sending all the positive vibes right back 🌈

@pinkmarshmalloww Wishing you all the best with bloods today, keep us updated 🤞

@bringmearainbow
Thank you 😊
It's not caving! Go for what you feel is right for you! I think if I do opt for an early scan I will try my best to wait longer too

MrsHousePlant · 01/11/2023 09:55

Hi all, joining after a BFP this morning! Feeling absolutely all over the place, this will be our first and is the first time I’ve ever been pregnant, we have been trying for several months. I know there’s still a long journey ahead but I’ve found the conception threads so helpful so far.
Congratulations to you all! 💕

Laylamoxx · 01/11/2023 09:57

Hi everyone, happy to join this thread (also new to Mumsnet) and wishing everyone a healthy happy pregnancy. I just turned 28 on Sunday and have no children, I have only been pregnant once before which sadly ended in a chemical in February before 5 weeks. My due date is calculated to 5/5/2024. I am 4 +5. I am looking forward to sharing this journey with you all! So far I have only experienced light cramping and sore breasts. Did a test this morning to see my line progression as I have anxiety after my chemical 😥

Due July 24
bringmearainbow · 01/11/2023 10:30

Gahhhh I feel sick again today 🙈 I don't usually start feeling sick until about 6 weeks 😳 luckily my bbq crisps are helping 😂

@pinkmarshmalloww def keep us updated on your bloods 🤞🏼

Hey all! Can I join?
I'm 38 and found out on Friday and I'm 4+3 so very early. EDD 7th July.
This will be my 2nd too, had a boy in 2021.
Also had a MMC at 12 weeks back in March this year, then had a brake from all things TTC to recover, tried again last month which resulted in a chemical.
Hoping this one sticks and progresses 🤞

Pomona123 · 01/11/2023 12:49

Hi I thought I’d join in! I’m 31, first baby. I’m 5 wks + 1 and due 2nd July. Only symptoms are sore boobs and the odd cramp. I’ve starting feeling like I have a cold which is crap 😭 Excited to follow along this journey with people here. Part of me is still in disbelief!

Tammy2603 · 01/11/2023 14:47

Congratulations @Pomona123 and @chilliflakesmum .

I have everything crossed for us all to have some happy and healthy pregnancies! Not many symptoms here other than headaches (which oddly I didn't have with my other two!)

How lovely will it be if we get our 12 week scans in before Christmas and can share the wonderful news to family and friends .

Pomona123 · 01/11/2023 14:55

I’m away in my 12th week. I’m assuming they still do scans between Christmas and New Year?!

bringmearainbow · 01/11/2023 15:07

@Pomona123 I assume they probably do them between they would have too much to catch up on if they didn't 🤔

Quick update.
Blood test 1# 542 4+0
Blood test 2# 1194 4+2
I'm over the first hurdle 😮‍💨
I've never shaken so much opening the results but I'm so relieved I have more than a double.
Next hurdle will getting the EPAU to book a placement scan and fingers crossed little baby is safe in uterus ❤️

bringmearainbow · 01/11/2023 15:35

@pinkmarshmalloww ahhhh those are fab lovely 🥳 they should book you in was the bloods with EPU?

Tammy2603 · 01/11/2023 15:49

@Pomona123 Yes they do them inbetween.

Tammy2603 · 01/11/2023 15:50

@pinkmarshmalloww Fantastic news, those are great results. I have everything crossed for you!

Thank you 😊

No I ordered 2x pregnancy blood tests through Medichecks and took them 48 hours apart 😄 you get the kit sent to you and prick your finger and collect the blood in a tube and send it back. Just incase EPAU took their time in contacting me I wanted my anxiety easing sooner 😅 x

@pinkmarshmalloww I've used them a lot in the past super handy. I hope EPU come back to you quick for a scan and don't mess you around 🤞🏼 it amazes me how different the EPUs are for different trusts they have some ridiculous rules 🙄

Yeah it's a bit of a piss take. I also found it depends who I speak too at EPU. My last pregnancy I got fobbed off saying they wouldn't do anything until I was 6 weeks. So I phones again later and spoke to someone else and she said come straight in. I was scanned at 4+5 and the sac was seen. Nothing else but I was happy knowing I wasn't having an Ectopic x

I cannot believe I’m saying this but after 10 yrs, 8 IVF cycles and one little girl, I missed a period and have three positive tests. I turn 40 next week. I’m cautiously excited. I got a pregnant 1-2 on a digital today so fingers crossed things go well. Due 9th of July I think

NphysT · 02/11/2023 07:48

Hi all, this is my 1st pregnancy and I am 5 weeks and due on 2nd July. Still doesn't quite feel real and desperately wanting to reach that 12 week point so i can breathe. Symptoms wise, I'm tired, have sore boobs on and off and sometimes nauseous when I've not eaten anything.

Have you all referred yourself to maternity? I did last Friday but not sure how long it takes for them to get back to you about an appointment

bringmearainbow · 02/11/2023 07:51

@Bonster37 wow that's amazing!🥳

@NphysT I haven't referred yet but different trusts all do it a little differently. Mind sends letters in the post with booking and scan appointments these don't usually come until about week 7or 8. Other people get phone calls to book in a date

OP posts:
Tammy2603 · 02/11/2023 09:04

@Bonster37 This is amazing news, congratulations! What a wonderful 40th Birthday present ♡

@NphysT Congratulations to you too! The 12 week wait definitely feels like the longest part! I self referred straight away.
via an online link. In our county its done online and they call us with a booking appointment for around 8 weeks. My last pregnancy, which sadly ended in a miscarraige at 11 weeks, was done this way, however with my children (aged 7 and 5) I contacted my GP who referred me to maternity services. Have a google on your county online and you should get an answer, or even give your GP a call.

pinkmarshmalloww · 02/11/2023 10:32

Morning everyone ❤️ hope everyone is well
Congrats on all these positive tests 😊

Turns out my doctor sent my EPU referral to the wrong department and EPU want me in today. I'm assuming bloods will be taken and if the results are over their threshold of 1500 they'll book a scan 🤞
