Anyone want to join me? I'm likely jumping the gun as I have a history of reoccurring loss but it always helps me to chat as if it really will work out this time 🤞🏼❤️

I haven't referred myself yet as I'm waiting to see if I get passed the point I miscarried last time as having to phone and cancel my 8 week booking appointment I found really hard 😔 if by a miracle I make it through to next week I'll probably book a private scan to check it's all in the correct place before I contact midwives x

Bali200 · 02/11/2023 11:54

Hi everyone tentatively joining you all after getting my bfp this morning at 11DPO. I had a MMC in August, found at 12 week scan despite seeing a strong heartbeat at 8+4 at an early scan. My predicted due date is 14th July according to Natural Cycles as I ovulated a little later this cycle than normal. I have zero symptoms currently so it doesn’t seem real yet.

Sending lots of sticky baby dust vibes to us all 🌈💗 xx

Purtyburty · 02/11/2023 12:02

I have referred myself already! Maybe I am jumping the gun a little bit!

wannabe123 · 02/11/2023 12:08

I'm waiting to refer. With my last pregnancy, when I started miscarrying they registered me and sent me an 8 week appointment (they were being optimistic I suppose) and cancelling it was hard. I also forgot to delete it out of my calender so getting a reminder on my phone was rubbish too.

I keep having spotting. I thought I was coming on my period but when it didn't get past the brown stage (sorry if tmi!) I did a test that was positive. I did another test today (2 days later) and the line is only a little bit darker. I'm really trying to not panic but after last time, I'm finding it really hard to stay positive.

bringmearainbow · 02/11/2023 12:39

@wannabe123 what tests are you using?

@pinkmarshmalloww that's great news they've got you in with no fuss!

wannabe123 · 02/11/2023 12:41

@bringmearainbow I'm using the easy @ home cheap ones off Amazon. They're a pink dye one.

bringmearainbow · 02/11/2023 12:43

@wannabe123 east at home are good for showing early lines but they don't really show progress until a bit later I have found. Boots 5day early tests are good for seeing line progression

pinkmarshmalloww · 02/11/2023 12:46

Thank you @bringmearainbow
@wannabe123 are you using first morning urine?

wannabe123 · 02/11/2023 13:07

@bringmearainbow that's interesting to know! I'll try to bare that in mind 😊
@pinkmarshmalloww yes. It's about the only thing stopping me testing constantly knowing that using the first wee of the day is going to be the best comparison.

I have got a clear blue digital but wanting to save that for a week's time or so... Not sure why?! 😂

pinkmarshmalloww · 02/11/2023 13:58

@wannabe123 it might not be the same for you but for me my first morning urine was useless. My second morning urine was always darker.
These tests are a crap for progression as well 😅

So in the first picture was my test a day or 2 after I first got a positive and it was exactly the same and I panicked. So a couple of hours later I drank very little a retook the test and that's the 2nd picture.

I don't know why this is the case for me and it's the same for many others. Our first morning urine just isn't great 😅
I started seeing progression using SMU from then on x

Interesting! I'll maybe try another test then!

Hi Ladies,

5.3 here and i feel awful ! Due around July 1st. Have a private scan booked for December 5th and 12 week on December 20th.

Had a loss in June, so have been nervous but taking reassurance in how god awful i feel. Horrific round ligament pain in back, abdomen and legs. Awful sickness too. 6am this morning i was crying in pain on the loo because if my back while being sick in the sink... love it !

Feel my husband is in for a big shock, told me last night i cant be feeling it this early with tiredness etc, then hearing my vom this morning has gave him a wake up call i think. They are so clueless sometimes arents they.

pinkmarshmalloww · 02/11/2023 14:06

@wannabe123 obviously everyone is different and would hate to cause worry if this wasn't the case for you and your FMU was best. But I thought I would just mention x

mamataylor · 02/11/2023 14:08

Hi Ladies 😊

please may I join? I’m actually due 30th June but thought I’d join the July thread since I’m basically due in July 😂 I already have a little girl who was born June 2021.

I’m 5+4 today and only experiencing sore boobs and frequent urination at the moment. My sickness kicked in at 6 weeks last time so time will tell if I experience it again!

Congratulations to you all on your BFP’s xx

Nervousnell19 · 02/11/2023 15:01

Hey ladies happy to join,

happily pregnant after a miscarriage last august, due date says 5th July. Very nervous incase I lose this one too. Trying to stay as positive as possible. But it’s hard sometimes
xx

Prettything · 02/11/2023 15:40

@wannabe123 good to hear you say that as I'm not seeing much progression on easy at home if any at all it's been worrying me!

wannabe123 · 02/11/2023 16:04

@Prettything maybe it is the tests then!

Prettything · 02/11/2023 16:23

@wannabe123 I was supposed to say thankyou to @bringmearainbow for saying that about the easy at home tests I didnt mean to say I was glad to hear about your current concerns! sorry about that! I am feeling very similar to you and it's not nice hopefully it's just our tests aren't the best!

wannabe123 · 02/11/2023 16:42

@Prettything don't worry, I didn't take it like that 😊

MummyBear2519 · 02/11/2023 18:13

justanotherlaura · 02/11/2023 19:42

Hi, I got a positive this morning, would be due around 12th July. Fingers crossed the tests keep getting darker!

I'm 39 and my first turned one a couple of weeks ago. Feels soon to be doing this all again but we definitely wanted 2 and I was concerned about my age I had a chemical before my DS so hesitant to get excited just yet, I'll be 4 weeks tomorrow I think!

Tammy2603 · 02/11/2023 21:20

Congratulations everyone! Sending you all positive vibes!

@MummyBear2519 This is my third child too! I have a nearly 8 and 5 year old. How are you feeling about the age gap? I feel excited but also nervous!

MummyBear2519 · 02/11/2023 22:03

@Tammy2603 very nervous for the age gap as I feel I’m starting all over again but also so excited.
Not sure the teenager will feel the same way though

wannabe123 · 03/11/2023 07:08

@justanotherlaura I've definitely got baby brain fog (it's my most obvious symptom) and I read your post that your first arrived a few weeks ago 🤦🏼‍♀️

I did another test this morning and actually seen some line progression! Finally feeling a little excited! Hope the excitement lasts!

Savvy21 · 03/11/2023 07:23

Hi All
Congratulations on your bfps.
@bringmearainbow I've definitely seen your name in the threads that I've been on. I'm rubbish at updating the conception threads and was beginning to feel a bit down about ttc no.2. Got my bfp last night after having a mmc in March 21 and ectopic in December 22. Hoping 3rd time lucky but not looking forward to going back to the EPU waiting room - feel I've got to know them quite well! Have a stitch like pain in my side and really bad back pain. Had the stitch with the ectopic but it may have been a UTI as I took antibiotics for those as well. Hoping I don't have to duck out the thread early.
