Congratulations on all the new arrivals!! That pumpkin hat @BabyBabyBaby123, he couldn’t be any cuter.

BabyBabyBaby123 · 01/11/2023 08:09

@reememberly all of the Halloween babies got one in the hospital, they were knitted by volunteers!

LeeanneD11 · 01/11/2023 08:53

Congratulations to all the mummies who have had their babies . It's now officially our turn to have our babies , I can't believe we are in November and we can all meet our bundles of joy very soon 💖💙

whatamess100 · 01/11/2023 08:54

Congratulations to everyone who's given birth! Loving the pics, so cute!

Well my cramping has started, lower backache and i think i loat a tiny bit of my water this morning but it could also be wee lol ive got a pad on to monitor.

I just don't know what to do, do i ring maternity and they will likely get in for monitoring, or do i ride it out at home. Im seeing my own midwife tomorrow at my gp and im booked in Friday 7.30am for my section.

Mrsrobinsonx · 01/11/2023 09:20

Congratulations on all the new babies! They are beautiful 🤩
38 weeks tomorrow, no signs of baby. I have an appointment at 39+5 if I’d like a sweep then and induction offered from 41 weeks.
hoping to go naturally but at the minute I have no idea! Don’t know the gender, haven’t got a clue on EFW or anything. Lots of surprises coming my way this month 👶🏼

Shaker21 · 01/11/2023 10:11

Wow so many babies have arrived!! 💓🩵 congratulations to everyone so far 😁

Can't believe it is finally November and our month 😬 it is feeling very real! Being FTM it is really hard to know what to look out for...I've had an increase in period type pains on and off and more back ache when I'm up and about more but just putting both down to normal things that happen around now. I am 36+5 today so still few weeks off due date but fully aware it could just happen at any point but also in my mind in denial that being FTM it is likely to be closer to due date or if not over due. Have we had many FTMs go naturally early?

PinkPlantCase · 01/11/2023 10:24

@Shaker21 my first was 41+1, spontaneous labour. So no my first wasn’t early 🤣 Most of my friends have been a few days over 40 weeks with their first, I have one who was 38 weeks spontaneous labour.

My first came spontaneously at 37+6 so although I think it’s less likely for first births to be early, it’s always a possibility! I’m on my second now (35+5) and lurking in this thread because I’ve had some cramping and suspect my December 1st due date will end up being a November baby 🤞

Mummypig23 · 01/11/2023 10:54

Congrats on all the new arrivals!

@Shaker21 my first was born at 39+4 spontaneously. Currently 39+3 with number two and no signs so expecting a longer haul this time around

FlyingHighFlyingLow · 01/11/2023 11:03

Congratulations everyone who has had their babies. Scary they're now coming thick and fast! On one hand I can't wait to finally meet my little one and cuddle them, on the other I'm terrified of giving birth and being a parent 😅. I'm not due until the 28th so I'm only just 36 weeks but starting to feel more real! With all the complications I just never believed I'd get this far.

Alloveragain3 · 01/11/2023 14:01

My water broke spontaneously at 40+5 with DS1 but it was a very slow labour so he arrived at 41+1.

Currently 38+3 and no signs of labour so I feel like I'll go over again.

LilmissCa · 01/11/2023 14:10

@Psqueak87 they'll def offer me at 41wks too but depending on how big this one's measuring now it might be offered sooner. I'll likely decline cuz I'm scared lol altho the temptation to meet this one sooner is def there lol
Booked in for a sweep on 39wks but will see how I am.. if cervix is high / low or whatever to decide.

Psqueak87 · 01/11/2023 15:04

@LilmissCa just waiting for the growth and fluid scan now! Haven’t had one since about 34 weeks! Excited / nervous to see how big she is!

PinkPlantCase · 01/11/2023 15:51

I’ve been washing baby clothes and nappies today 😁 I saw the midwife too and she said that the Homebirth staffing is the best it’s ever been!! Every day and night covered for the next few weeks.

Baby is also engaged! Which I know doesn’t mean much but it’s still nice to know things are heading in the right direction

Psqueak87 · 01/11/2023 16:37

Ultrasound went good, I won’t actually find out if the fluid levels were good till tomorrow but the tech hinted that they were fine. Baby estimated 7lb 3oz at 39+3. 40th percentile for most everything. Still looking very comfy.

2023novbaby · 01/11/2023 18:36

Hi all
Congratulations to all those who have had their bundle of Joys!

I am currently 39+5 and baby is back to back. Has anyone got any advice of how to turn baby or any experience or having a back to back baby? I’ve heard of she stays back to back it would be a long painful birth

foodislife1 · 01/11/2023 18:49

Had our little bundle of joy this morning. 💕
Didn't get my vbac as planned but happy baby arrived safe and sound :)

LeeanneD11 · 01/11/2023 18:51

Congratulations @foodislife1 💕💕

How you doing @Mldn & @whatamess100 xx

TMI2000 · 01/11/2023 18:55

Congratulations @foodislife1 so happy for you!

DollyGx · 01/11/2023 19:22

Wow congrats on all the new babas that have arrived in the last few days!! Such lovely news, all making it feel very real for me, I’m due next Friday but have a feeling I might be kept waiting as it’s my first.
@2023novbaby if you haven’t already checked it out you might want to look up the website spinning babies, I think there are some techniques on there to encourage baby into a better position 🤞🏼

Thack · 01/11/2023 20:25

Congrats @foodislife1 !@foodislife1 ! I hope you are recovering well. Enjoy your first night with baba 💕

Psqueak87 · 01/11/2023 20:42

@foodislife1 CONGRATULATIONS! ❤️

UnwieldyRhombus · 01/11/2023 21:46

My November baby ended up being an October baby, arriving a week early. Went in with reduced movements and ended up with an emergency c-section! Definitely not the home birth I was hoping for - I was finalising preparations for that right before going to the hospital and I'm still a bit shocked it's suddenly gone. These things happen, I'm just a bit emotional. This is definitely my last baby and I'm a bit sad I'll never get to experience that time of birth, but what can you do? Also slightly sad I'll never be pregnant again (expected to go late and thought I had more time) even though this pregnancy was rough and I do not even want to do it again 😅

Baby is doing well and is lovely. Feeding well - not getting to sleep at night yet as he wants to cluster feed and then stay on me, but all in time.

Hope the rest of you are doing well. Almost there!

LilmissCa · 01/11/2023 21:49

@foodislife1 massive congratulations!

@Psqueak87 that's a fab weight, good to get some reassurance with the fluid levels! I also can't wait till my growth scan on Fri.. last was just under 33wks & it was 6lb 9oz 🙈 fear of birthing an elephant is lingering in my head lol

@2023novbaby check out spinning babies website, some good positions that's not just for breech babies

LilmissCa · 01/11/2023 21:52

@UnwieldyRhombus congratulations!!
I can imagine the disappointment of the home birth not going to plan & an emergency section. Will take you some time to come to terms with it ❤️
