Im with you all when it comes to feeling anxious! Im 7+2 (or 3.. depending on what app i look at) and feel like i should have more symptoms by now!! I have been extremely tired, but the past 2 days we have been on hols and i haven’t felt tired at all. Not sure if its just because ive been kept busy, but in my head its because something is wrong!

i would also have expected to have had morning sickness by now which i havent. Ive had feelings of nausea but not massively.

@ASGIRC my mum is the same. She is SO excited. Dont get me wrong, so am i, but im also worried and anxious and scared it wont work out! Its so hard!!

i have my 8 week scan on Sunday so praying all is well.

ASGIRC · 22/08/2023 21:23

@LouH93 im 7+4 and also no morning sickness at all.
I do have lack of appetite e some foods give me the ick, and therefore some nausea if I think about them (or actually eat them!!!), but in general? Can't say I've felt any nausea.
And that's only been for the past week. Then for the past couple of days I've had very mild boob soreness.
Otherwise nothing!! I don't feel pregnant at all, and so keep convincing myself it has all gone wrong.

I'm definitely not as excited as my mom, so far!!! 😂😂😂😂😂

Hi all, I am joining in here after a BFP yesterday! My EDD is 29th Apr… currently feeling terrified about the prospect of morning sickness (or should we say all day sickness, lol) cropping up in the next few weeks due to having lots on in the next couple weeks… when did everyone else start with their sickness?

Bluesky85 · 22/08/2023 22:42

@chelau welcome! Mine was mild/ intermittent in week 5, a bit worse in week 6 but ok if I kept eating. Now I’m in week 7 and it’s constant!

ASGIRC · 22/08/2023 23:28

@chelau I am close to 8 weeks and have had absolutely no sickness.
It is not a guarantee! Fingers crossed for you!!
Welcome!

sugarplum33 · 23/08/2023 03:42

I am so fed up of not sleeping 😢

Lbw1292 · 23/08/2023 05:23

Morning everyone :) wide awake again, sleep was such a struggle last night! I also felt sick the whole night, it has really not been pleasant :( still testing with my first wee, I don’t think I will ever get sick of seeing that line! @sugarplum33 sorry you are part of the wide awake club again!

welcome @chelau ! Mine started around 16dpo and I guess it is how your body reacts. I normally feel sick quite often, so I’m not surprised to be dealing with this 😂 I don’t have to actually be sick though, I am hoping I don’t get to that haha!

WolfMother326 · 23/08/2023 06:53

Hello everyone, congratulations and welcome @chelau

I somehow have fallen off the main list but I'm due 20 April with #2!

I'm 5+4 today and just starting to get unpleasant nausea. Trying to eat healthy and normally - in my last pregnancy I only wanted a little green veg and potatoes during morning sickness, everything else was gross. It lasted from 6-11 weeks. We're visiting my in laws in 2 weeks and won't be telling them yet so I'm a bit worried about that.

For those worrying about not having symptoms, it doesn't matter sometimes. My friend just had her first and had zero nausea, soreness etc, she was just a little tired and had a completely normal pregnancy.

I'm also nervous but focusing on telling myself 'I'm pregnant today and I love my baby'.

Hope everyone has a good day!

.

sweetdreams23 · 23/08/2023 09:11

Hello everyone 👋due 20th April with baby number 2. Had 2 early losses in the past 9 months so taking every day as it comes at the moment and trying to keep positive. Holding on to the fact I'm currently further on than I got on the past 2 pregnancys. My little girl is just over 3. Not having loads of symptoms at the moment just indigestion and super bloated by the evening! Also seem to be weeing every half hour 😂 fingers crossed for a healthy successful pregnancy for everyone ❤️

BlossomTree123 · 23/08/2023 09:30

Morning all, I feel light headed this morning, almost dizzy but not quite. Anyone had this symptom? I’m 5+2

CinderRosie · 23/08/2023 09:32

@BlossomTree123 I have had this a bit over last day or 2. I'm 5+4.

I'm tired and nauseous this morning, sipping ginger tea and hoping it passes soon.

PigPug · 23/08/2023 09:34

I am 5 weeks today. Symptoms come and go still. Anxiety better most of the time- trying to appreciate I'm pregnant right now rather than worry what may happen in the future.

Anyone else find it weird when you see a friend and they ask how things have been and you have to talk about life as if the pregnancy hasn't happened. We are only telling my mum until 12 weeks. My mind has been entirely focused on being pregnant for the last 10 days so everything else in my life feels boring.

Pinkstuffs · 23/08/2023 10:02

Hello everyone, I am 5+2, this is our first baby. I think due around 25th April. We were being investigated for fertility problems so it was a pleasant surprise to get a BFP before our appointment with the clinic 😀 I don’t have a lot of nausea, if I do it’s in the evening. My boobs are pretty sore and I’m EXHAUSTED, feel like I have jet lag constantly

I'm also 5+2 the tiredness feels like I've got a hangover everyday! Struggling to focus with work atm!

CluelessInLondon · 23/08/2023 10:17

@BlossomTree123 I had a bit of light-headedness/feeling faint last week, fortunately didn't last too long and went away with a lie-down.

@PigPug Totally, it's so weird having to pretend there's nothing going on! We spoke to my in-laws the day after finding out and they asked what we'd been up to, it was like "oh, nothing much"...

@sweetdreams23 Welcome - sorry for your past losses and fingers crossed for this one!

Lbw1292 · 23/08/2023 10:45

Is anyone else really struggling to concentrate? I feel like I can’t think about anything else than being pregnant 😂 work is tough!!

SunshineBabyA · 23/08/2023 11:46

Hi all, I'm 4weeks+6, 20DPO and due 25th April 24 according to Natural Cycles. This is my first pregnancy. I could tell I was pregnant before our positive test due to nausea, dizzy spells etc.

I'm finding it really strange that I won't be seen by a medical professional for at least another 4 weeks or longer.
I have so many questions and online gives so many conflicting answers.
I'm a dance teacher (on summer hols at mo until September) and wanted to keep up my usual exercise but even doing my morning pilates that I had been doing everyday makes me feel faint and weak. I don't know what core exercises I'm allowed to do. I want to stay strong but don't want to risk hurting baby or diastasis recti. Any advice for exercise?

I'm really concerned about going back to work and dancing 8 hours a day as I feel light headed walking 😥

The advice is you can carry on doing what you're doing but don't start anything new. My sister is a machine and has been going to cross fit 5x a week throughout her pregnancy. It's very annoying now following her 😂

Could you be anaemic If you're feeling faint? Sorry I can't imagine having such a high intensity job in the first trimester!x

I didn't get any with my daughter and haven't had any so far either xx

NinaGeiger · 23/08/2023 13:02

Thank you so much @Poppins2016
Looks good

CinderRosie · 23/08/2023 15:59

@PigPug yep very weird seeing people and pretending life is boring! I am seeing friends for food tonight and worried I'll either feel nauseous, accidentally blurt out I'm pregnant or end up home at 8pm as I'll be so tired by then.... or all three 😂

Belle26 · 23/08/2023 17:00

I'm really panicking, I've just had some brown pinkish spotting. I don't know what to do or think. Has anyone else had spotting? I'm 5 +2 so I thought it's to late for implantation bleeding

CinderRosie · 23/08/2023 17:14

@Belle26 I have had 3 episodes of spotting, twice between 4-5 weeks and again the other night. I’m 5+4 today. I’ve noticed it when wiping but at the next toilet visit it’s then gone. The cervix can get very sensitive in early pregnancy and cause spotting which I think/hope mine is, yours is probably nothing too especially if you aren’t getting cramps/fresh red blood.

chelau · 23/08/2023 18:04

Thanks for the advice on sickness - good to hear some of you didn’t experience it in past pregnancies too… praying for myself RN 🙌🏼 Would have loved to join the FB group but de-activated my profile a while ago!
