@faban that looks a great scan pic for 8 weeks! Scans amaze me on the details on them, how it’s all happening inside of you and to not feel it.

@CinderRosie I know what you mean. I always thought I'd have girls (probably because I also have a sister and we're close) but by the time I had the 20 week scan I knew for sure I was carrying a boy. This time around I can't tell yet. It's hard to imagine a girl but either way would be lovely!

Has anyone noticed their skin on their face changing? I have soo many spots and bumps on my face looks like acne i had when I was 13 🥺 only noticed it getting worse over last week or so .. is anyone else the same ? X

Yes, my skin is awful not just my face and neck but my shoulders too 😔
My skin was so clear with my daughter's pregnancy.

@Bexxy28 yeah my skin is awful too! Some spots and then just a bit blotchy as well. Cannot wait for the glowing second trimester 😂

I booked the Harmony NIPT test for 25 September, so I've got just over 2 weeks to go til that. I wanted my husband to come but we'd have to bring our 2 year old. He's very perceptive and I'm worried he might get an inkling of what's going on if he saw the scan image. We don't want him to know yet, so will go on my own.

Also got my booking appointment in 1.5 weeks, interested to see what the hospital is like, I was in London for my first baby and it was soooo crowded.

@Mammac85 @Greenvelvetdress it's soo bad! Id post a pic of mine but it's upsetting me its soo red and just clusters of spots everywhere! Makeups just sticking to them as well🥺 I'll put up with it tho for a baby lol x

Have you noticed that your makeup doesn't seem to go on right? I've worn the same brand for over a year and now it looks weird on my skin like it's not sticking properly 🤷🏼‍♀️ also found my mascara makes my eyes water and itch if worn for more than an hour.

@Mammac85 yes!! I've noticed mine not sticking properly around my forehead and nose, I bought a gripping primer and nothing helps. I have lash extensions on which have been fine thankfully. My skins never been oily either it's usually in between and never had issues x

@bexxy28 hey thanks for asking. I went in and she said my sac measured at only 6+4 - i told her im sure i am 7+3 today because i know when i ovulated and my cycles are regular. She has rebooked me in for a free scan in another 2 weeks as we couldnt see the fetus, so fingers crossed. I was abit anxious thinking how has this happened, has the sac stopped growing is that why its showing as 1 week behind, so many questions😔

@Babyrabbit1 heyy!! Ohh id be the exact same thats soo frustrating 🥺 praying it's more positive when you go back again! What did they say about the measurements? I have mine tomorrow and I feel sick with nerves 😣 x

@Babyrabbit1 I’ve been in a for scan recently where my measurements were showing a week behind too, I really understand your worry! While not saying that everything was ok, the midwife did say that it’s really common to go for a follow up
scan for the baby to have then caught up.

These early weeks are tough going but thinking of you for the next scan 💜

@bexxy28 @xxcxdonxx @sugarplum33 - Thank you, she did say its very common and asked if i have been spotting or anything i said no. I was researching on other forums last night and seen its nothing to worry about if its 1 week behind. Just trying to stay positive as these next 2 weeks are going to feel like another 2 years for me. She didnt give much away regarding the dates or anything or explain why things like this can happen. My guesses i implanted late or i got my LP wrong. My new due date is 29th april @bexxy28 good luck for tomorrow will be thinking of you xxx

@Babyrabbit1 I had the same thing happen at my early scan last week. Like you I thought I was 7+3 and measured at 6+4. I've got another scan booked for the 21st and I'm hoping they've managed to catch up. I hope it's good news for us both x

@bugdem123 fingers crossed for us both, its my first pregnancy so its really confusing all this. I hope your scan goes well please do keep me updated how it goes, its juat constant worry now for another 2 weeks xxx

Sorry I hope this doesn't cause any upset for those who have had confusing scans recently but I've just had my private scan at 8+0 and all looks good. Measuring 8+4 with their little heart beating away 🥺 I've also had my NHS scan date through for when I will be 11+3 so not too long to wait for that now :)

I've had no nausea so far but feeling quite lightheaded and dizzy today, has ahyone else experienced this?

Went for a run this morning (felt ok running and took it easyish) and now got a wedding this afternoon. Would so rather just stay on the sofa! I'm in Scotland so while it's a bit muggy it is not super hot today here. Just hope I dont faint/throw up...!

Can i please join in?! Found out yesterday, I'm 7 weeks - rough calculation says I'm due 28th April.

First baby and very much unplanned, but very excited now the shock has worn off! x

I tell you what I’m so thankful I will not be heavily pregnant during summer because this heat is destroying me at the moment if I'm not weeing or puking I’m definitely sweating 😩😂
