@Rosieposie0301 I’m so sorry! I’m in the exact same boat. Went for a private scan this morning expecting to be 8+2 but there’s 2 foetus’s with no heartbeats and measuring 6+3. Got an appointment at EPU tomorrow morning to see what’s next. Shocked and gutted😢

Thanks everyone for your replies! I get where everyone is coming from! We're just going to tell them tonight because deep down i know they'll be so excited. Im so hard on myself because if something goes wrong I'll blame myself but I'm being positive and hopeful things will all be ok 🥰

@Bexxy28 I have told most of my close family but I did caveat it by saying we're very hopeful, but anything can happen at this stage. You don't need to feel guilty or responsible, and you won't jinx it by telling them ♡ it's unfair that women have to hide pregnancy and be under pressure. Better not to stress on your holiday and enjoy your mocktails in peace!

@Macccc im so sorry, and twins that is just devastating. It’s horrible we have to go through this, the waiting and the inevitable having to decide what to do… and no option is a nice one

How is everyone feeling today?

@WolfMother326 heyy!! Im okkk, feel nauseous this morning it's awful seems to be when I get up and do things without food I feel it more 🥲 we told his parents last night at dinner so feels good to not hide the alcohol lol. I had a dream last night about me going for a scan and it was really positive now I really want this to happen on Sunday at my scan 🥺

Hey! I'm freaking out slightly 🙈 I'm 7 weeks today which is the furthest I've ever made it in a pregnancy. One half of me is so excited the other half is filled with dread and anxiety for our scan on Wednesday. I'm feeling nauseous and bloated, I keep reminding myself they are positive signs that things are progressing.

Hope everyone else is feeling OK? Anyone else got scans this week?

@Belle26 I could of write this myself! Im 7 weeks tomorrow and I'm feeling the exact same as you!! Im excited but also nervous! My scan is on Sunday when I'm 7+5 I'm so nervous but being positive by telling myself it will be all okay🤞 good luck for Wednesday 💘

Just a bit of nausea for me this morning but not much else symptom-wise - I keep trying to remind myself that amount/severity of symptoms doesn't mean anything but it still makes me anxious that I don't 'feel' more pregnant! We told both sets of parents and my sister over the weekend, which I don't think has helped anxiety levels - it makes it feel like a bigger deal if something goes wrong than if only me and my husband know about it.

@Belle26 good luck for Wednesday! I have a scan booked for Thurs. I was in a state on Saturday after a bit of spotting and felt my nausea had improved but it stopped within 24 hours and the nausea is well and truly back. Really trying to feel hopeful!

@CluelessInLondon this is exactly how I feel about telling people also - even tho they're family but I think I put more responsibility on myself 🥺 and you're completely right with symptoms...I felt my sore boobs decreased last night and was stressing over it but woke up and they were sore again. It's awful I never thought about half of what I worry about now. X

Is anyone else’s booking appointment really late? I’ll be 11 weeks when I finally see a midwife

@WolfMother326 thrown up twice this morning already, once before breakfast and once bringing up breakfast 🤢. First time I've actually thrown up after eating, it normally makes me feel better. Trying to just sip water now and hopefully things will get better later. Got my booking in appointment tomorrow morning so hope I'm not throwing up through that, or on the journey there!
