Finally managed to speak with my doctor regarding nausea, he's prescribed me promethazine teoclate. Has anyone taken this for sickness/nausea?

I’m okay, but you know how it is when your so hormonal and really trying not to cry when someone’s being a dick!
Glad you’re okay, ugh yes know exactly what you mean. Good for you for going to hr, hopefully they’ll be all over it as it opens them up to a legal minefield if that behaviour continues!!

I’m 11 weeks tomorrow, last 2 weeks nausea hasn’t been as bad. I thought I’d sussed that as long as I didn’t let myself get too hungry I was okay. Today it’s back with a vengeance.

How can something so small cause you to feel so crap 😫

Does anyone else feel like they look really pregnant already? I'm 8w4d and i honestly feel I look about 6 months pregnant! It's my second but surely a bump doesn't come this early and it must all be bloat somehow even though it feels hard 🤔

@Silverpixieflorence does yours come and go or is it permanent? I bloat but it comes and goes. In the evening I can look six months pregnant but by the morning it's flat stomach again

@SmartiesParty it's permanent! Unless I'm just bloated all day every day I think it might be here to stay 😅

@Mummapenguin20 yes exactly the same as me! I went into the office yesterday (normally work from home) and I swear people were looking at my stomach 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Shrillwaffle glad it’s not just me! @Un7breakable i started to feel something move at about 16+4 weeks but I think for first pregnancies anything between 18-22 weeks is more usual.

Got the NIPT results, low risk of Downs etc so that’s a massive relief after my quad test.
@Shrillwaffle My inhibin A was high which had pushed up my risk, the other stuff was fine. I’m just mentioning it due you your late loss. High inhibin A is linked to preterm birth so I’m definitely going to be bringing that up with my consultant tomorrow as I already had one preterm birth. Not sure if they can actually do anything about it other than monitor me more but I’m going to ask.

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 no I don't have a between the legs shot because it was only a well being check not a gender one & thanks hun we have had a good time but as you can imagine with 4 very boys-tress boys it's been hectic at times 😂

Amazing news @Nemo145 so glad you're able to feel some relief x

I went for a private gender scan last week and forgot to update, they said girl but it took around 30 mins to get an answer and I had to get up and move around so I'm not entirely convinced it's correct!

@mumtotwox aye the anticipation is real as you can imagine keep thinking when I get home and do this gender cannon my nhs scan is then going to say boy 😂 I shouldn't of asked the question in the first place like mental torture now haha

@Shrillwaffle thankyou and personally its not about wanting a girl after 4 boys, it would be obviously nice & different I suppose aslong as baby is healthy that's all that matters but even if I am 100% having a girl I won't believe it until she's in mu arms 😂 I've always been the odd one out in our house 🤣 x

it's a surprise so I won't know till Feb for sure BUT old wives tales say boy and nub theory too. I just have a feeling but could be totally off .

Congratulations on the baby sex news! My husband is convinced I’m having a boy and I have a feeling it’s a girl. My 20 week scan is on Oct 2nd when I’ll be 22 weeks and we are both so impatient so booked a private scan for Monday to find out lol.

Of course a healthy baby is all we want but we’re having fun with guessing and listening to all the family theories about my cravings being boy or girl related lol.
